Dunn walked up a flight of stairs emerging on a windy decking where Della stood to a side, staring into the extensive desert land in front of the modi city.
“Hey here you are, I knew my hunch was right?” Dunn spoke as he stood by Della’s side also staring on into the desert. “Hope nothing bad happened at home?” He asked again, giving Della a glance.
“No, Mom and Dad were fine.” Della replied and then looked at Dunn with questioning face, “How did you know I am here?” She asked.
“Well, I have my ways.” Dunn replied with a cheeky smile.
“You know what?” Della spoke, now turning her whole body towards Dunn who raised a brow.
“If you keep on being like this…” Della paused, poking Dunn’s chest with a finger as she looked up to his face, “…I don’t think we can develop anything meaningful between us both.” She concluded and then dropped her hand.
“Uh, What… do you mean by that?” Dunn asked back with quite confused face.
