Description: Unique reality for host Jinx[Furan Shi].

Furan Shi was expecting the rhythmic clickety-clack of the train's wheels along the rails, but he didn't hear it in the dark. Instead, when he stretched his arms, his hands were stopped before he could fully unfold.

The development of events was so sudden that Furan Shi didn't know how to react.

It was too dark. He realized he was in a box. His heartbeats spiked up, and he began to panic. He wasn't claustrophobic, but not knowing where he was at the moment was what terrified him. He started banging at the wooden wall in front of him repeatedly until he was out of breath. He tried kicking at it to no avail. He tires so easily. He realized he was smaller and weaker than before.

"Raum, what is this?" He cried. "Wh… where am I?????"

The bird, having no space for its avatar in there, replied in Furan Shi's mind.

「 "You are in an empty broom closet. Jinx's bullies had emptied it out just for you." 」

Realizing he was trapped, he screamed again. "LET ME OUT!!!!"

Bang. "Let."

Bang. "Me."

Bang. "OUTT!!!!"

No one responded from the outside. His only company was his panting breaths, and the crow that speaks in his head.

「 "Calm down, someone's coming to get you." 」

But Jinx was already starting to cry. He wailed, like a big baby, but his voice still soft as a little bunny rabbit. There were occasional hiccups that interrupted his wailing, but until the door was opened, his face was caked with tears.

"Wuuuu wuuuu..!!" He scrubbed his face, but more tears spilled out from his reddening eyes.

The boy who opened the door looked at him strangely. And, tilting his head, he said in the middle of the bunnyboy's crying. "The dark isn't so bad. Why are you crying?"

"Uwaaaaaahhh!!"

As expected, his question drowned in Jinx's crying. The boy chose to just wrap his tail around the other and pull him out of there, and then wait for him to stop crying. It was out of character for the bunny to cry for something like this, but Raum, being the ever compassionate corvid, rewired it for him.

It took some more sobbing and wailing before Jinx realized he was out of the closet. He looked up at his savior like the latter was a saint.

He was. He just saved the poor, weak bunny in the closet.

「 "Did Jinx die from being suffocated in here?" 」

「 "No." 」

「 "Then how did I inhabit his body?" 」

「 "..." 」

Jinx pounced on the boy and hugged him tight, sobbing in his arms. But he was quickly shoved away by the boy who was blushing. He was held on the shoulders at an arm's length. "D-don't just hug me, bunny!"

"Thank you…" Despite all the snot and the tears, he grinned so adorably in front of the taller boy. "Thank you for saving me..!"

To the other, he was like a squeaking doll, now full of life after a moment of despair. His lop ears momentarily rose in his joy until they mimicked airplane wings, and then dropped down again.

"Thank you so much!!" OOC all the way, but Jinx now had been rewired to be cutesy. He smiled up at the other.

「 Using skill [Sunshine, sunshine~ lvl2] 」

「 "I have a skill like that???" 」

「 "Hadn't mentioned it, sorry. You smile so naturally that I forgot to translate that one. Anyways, do you want to stop these notifications when you use a skill from [Cuteness Overload!]?" 」

「 "Yes, please." 」

The best host ever. So polite when his mood is down.

The notifications disappeared at once. Furan Shi mentally noted that although the skills under [Cuteness Overload!] were common, when he did it, it was more effective.

He's just that cute uwu.

"What's your name?" the boy asked, and at that moment Furan Shi's smile froze.

「 Name: Camilius Fontaine. 」

「 White python demihuman. Male. About fifteen years old. Mama's boy. Filthy rich, slightly spoiled. 」

He hadn't even realized it was Camilius..! He was, well… too emotional to notice..? Now his eyes were clear. His name slipped out of his parted lips subconsciously. "Jinx…"

The taller boy smiled wolfishly at the answer, something that appeared… uncharacteristic on his young, innocent face. And because he's a white snake, the opposite of a black wolf. Get it? Okay.

"Found you."

——————————

He's back in the villa compound. He was adopted by the Selvans, surprisingly. Camilius had insisted on it. The process was so quick that the orphan Jinx was quickly Jinx Selvan in a day.

Aleister Selvan's son.

It was the year 2027, Jinx twelve and Camilius fourteen. Aleister was only twenty-four.

The villa compound didn't change much. Everything was still the same as Furan Shi remembered. Everyone was just aged three years younger than in the original timeline and, well, Jinx was adopted into the main house early. He wasn't even supposed to be in the villa compound at all.

When he first arrived, Camilius had been too protective of him, even blocking him from his own adoptive father. Aleister could only helplessly chuckle before pulling Camilius away by the ear so he could properly introduce himself to his new son.

"Call me papa, or uncle, or whatever," he politely — which was a bit weird to do in front of a child — introduced in his usual, forced baritone voice and smiled.

Maybe he was still nervous about whether or not his new son would fear him or reject him? Maybe both?

Jinx smiled back. "Papa."

He was a very small child at age twelve, his lop bunny ears barely reaching his chin. His eyes were round and cinnamon hued, and they made him look perpetually innocent, maybe even pouty, like he needs some kind of protection from bigger demihumans.

Aleister's crooked smile widened into a more genuine, almost goofish, grin. He felt himself tearing up from how cute the child was, and how unfortunately thin.

"We'll get you something to eat first, okay?"

Camilius had to groan from the side and elbow the man on his side. "I'm taking him to my room now," Camilius muttered as he hurriedly dragged the bunnyboy away.

"Love you!!" Aleister shouted from the back, obviously addressing the bunny rabbit. Jinx could only nod shyly at him, and Aleister almost swooned.

There, in Camilius' room, his dinner was wheeled in. It was a feast for for a young bunnyboy. But nevermind that. Furan Shi was horrified at how bland Camilius' room looked as compared to how it should look from the original story.

Bland, but looking into the smaller details, he can safely say his room was as lukewarm as his personality. Books of different genres collect dust in the shelves at the side. He had bunny plushies — well… on his bed.

The bed, with the curtains withdrawn to the sides, show a mess of pillows and plushies and blankets that resembled a makeshift nest.

Camilius pushed him into it and followed right after. Before Jinx could get a word in, he felt the other hugging him tightly from behind, his face buried into the nape of Jinx's neck.

"Let's stay like this, okay?"

"But… but the food—"

"Shh…"

Camilius hugged him tighter. Furan Shi couldn't move, so he decided to play along and lie more comfortably. The snake's tail slowly wrapped around his waist like a heavy blanket, which he didn't mind at the moment.

"Welcome home, master."

「 "Raum, why does Camilius always retains his memories?" 」

「 "...no clue. My theory is that he's a regressor." 」

「 "How do I even test that..?" 」

"Camilius..?" he whispered and tried to turn around. Camilius allowed it, so now they're facing each other in the makeshift nest. "Have I… met you somewhere before..?"

If the snake played dumb, then they could confirm it. Camilius was a bad liar. However, because he knew himself that he was a bad liar, he never lied.

He only smiled so mysteriously, so unlikely of a 14-year-old kid. "Yes."

Then he might just be a regressor. "So…" Furan Shi couldn't come up with anything to say next, so Camilius decided to fill in for him:

"You've been my master, and I want to say you still are."

Hold on. He's revealing everything..!

「 "Raum, check him." 」

「 "...on it." 」

That wasn't what a kid like him should be saying. Furan Shi never even thought he'd meet a regressor in his trial story. He couldn't even come up with a way to poke at the other, who was starting to grow creepy on him. Shouldn't the world strike this character for getting OOC?

「 "Are we… going off a tangent..?" 」

Raum couldn't answer him at the moment, but by then, he noticed something in the taller boy's mouth.

His tongue, or rather, the tips of his forked tongue, seem to be glowing. Camilius grabbed him by the jaw and squeezed, forcing Jinx to open his own mouth.

Camilius took his chance and buried his tongue right into it.

The world trembled. Furan Shi felt dizzy from the colors that started to glitch in and out of the bedroom. The curtains, the canopy, the carpet and the ceiling… everything rapidly changed into another color and pattern design. Camilius kept his mouth connected to the other, their tongues lapping at each other as they shared a heated kiss.

Their mouths feel too hot, like a live wire burning into wood. The colors coalesced and separated, Furan Shi couldn't concentrate.

And then the world was still again.

「 "Are you alright, host?" 」

It was Furan Shi who couldn't respond this time. Camilius finally let their lips part as he leaned back, his face carrying a triumphant expression as though he'd accomplished something grand. Well, he kissed his master. He's here with him now, and he's here to stay.

Bruh, whatever happened to "don't just hug me, bunny!"?

「 "That was an OOC warning, host." 」

Camilius' tail uncoiled from around the other boy, the tip scratching under the bunnyboy's chin before slithering away. "Master~"

He's innocent once more. The glitch never happened, and Furan Shi was thoroughly confused. He was still hung up about the terrifying glitch. He thought he'd seen something else beyond the walls when it clipped against the one adjacent to it.

He subconsciously sought the other's warmth once more, taking the initiative to hug Camilius and bury his face into his chest for comfort.

"Ah.." the python gazed fondly down at the smaller demihuman, and on his face formed what seemed to be a sly grin. "Master, what's wrong..?"

"I need warmth," Jinx shyly returned. "We both need that, right?"

"Hehe, yeah." Thusly, Camilius hugged him back. The world was quiet once more. Raum had fixed whatever happened by rewiring Jinx's character to fit the current storyline.

It was a tranquil Monday. Because everyone else was injured from the knife battle yesterday apart from the members of the main house, the villa compound was awfully quiet. Anton was still too young here at 19 that his hands weren't as fast as they were when he was 22, so his small clinic was packed with both black wolves and white snakes.

They have no choice but to recuperate together there. Anton was the best medic they could ever know, even though he wasn't really a medic. It was fortunate enough that no one was injured too badly, or they'd have to face the runt wolf's maniacal face as he laughed and hear his dreadful rants about his thoughts about his new, available prosthetics, like a true villain.

Imagine having your whole hand replaced just because one of your fingers was cut.

The quiet also easily took Furan Shi back into thinking about what happened. It had been all too fast. He realized he was given a drink laced with something deadly in that second turn of the story.

Camilius killed him. But for what? Because the python knew he'd just regress..? It was a thought too scary to ponder about, especially if the topic was just inches away from him, smiling like he never gave that suspicious carrot juice in their past life.

He decided to skip to easier thoughts, like suddenly getting adopted by the male lead.

Anyways, Aleister suddenly barged in on Camilius and Jinx's intimate moment, almost cooing at them until he saw their food going cold at the side. He couldn't hold his fatherly temperament in check at the sight that he hurried towards the bed and separated his new son from his mischievous nephew.

Camilius received an earful from the man. Surprisingly, he took everything in and just meekly nodded, like he was back in character.

Jinx was then pulled out of the room.

"What did he do to you in there..?" the man asked, seemingly concerned beneath his nonchalant attitude. The bunnyboy in tow, they headed right towards the kitchen downstairs, where Jinx was pushed down onto a seat behind the counter.

"We… touched our tongues together..?" One way of saying they kissed, as Furan Shi wasn't a good liar, either. "He's my pet now.."

Aleister didn't know whether to feel proud or frustrated, so he took both. His face showed such complex emotion Jinx didn't know how to describe.

"Papa…" Jinx weakly called out to him, which made him pause from walking to where the stove was. Jinx tugged at Aleister's hand and continued: "are you mad..?"

Aleister's mood immediately turned a hundred and eighty degrees, as if flipping a switch, as fast as the way he spun to face his new son. "No, little bunbun! Of course not!" he cleared, chuckling. If he had a tail, it would be wagging with pride and joy. "Papa will never get mad at little Jiji..!"

To compensate anyways, Jinx stepped closer and hugged his new father, his face buried into the man's abdomen. "Promise papa's not mad..?"

"Yes, son." Aleister repeated his answer, his hand subconsciously combing through the bunnyboy's fluffy hair, down to the tip of one of his lop ears. "But Jiji, touching another person's tongue with yours should only be done with the person you love."

Jinx looked up, and for a moment he'd forgotten about the glitching in Camilius' room to sustain his acting cutesy. "Like papa..?"

The man couldn't help but chuckle. "No, bunbun. Like, er… your lover. But you're too young to have a partner."

"I want Camilius as my partner.." Jinx, acting shy, lowered his head and turned it away. "Can he..?"

Aleister suddenly encountered a fork on the road of his fatherhood.

——————————

Camilius had a dream. In it, he strangled a black bunny rabbit because it wouldn't come to him no matter how much he called it. That wasn't the part that surprised him, though.

He felt afraid of having to wait three more years to meet the rabbit again, only to learn it would already be someone else's. His fears heightened to the point of overwhelming the surprise out of his system. To the point that he can feel it carved deeply in his heart that he needed to take action immediately.

He had pulled his archenemy (one-sided), the only human among the darned black wolves, to the orphanage because Alodia had entrusted Camilius to him. Also, he's only fourteen himself. He had no choice.

He also took into consideration their future together. He knew he wouldn't be able to marry Jinx if the bunnyboy had been a Fontaine, so he had to be a Selvan.

Somehow, it felt natural doing all of this. And if it won't work out, he'd just have to strangle the bunny rabbit again until they can finally be together.

And then he woke up sweating that day, and when he came to, he was in front of a closet where the bunny was, banging against the door from the inside and pleading to be let out.

He had held his breath as he opened it.

The closet spat out his angel, who was drowning in his own tears, sobbing like he was out of breath. At once he felt compelled to protect the small rabbit that kept squeaking in his arms; and at the same time he felt as though he should be the only one who can make him cry.

So when he heard the bunnyboy with his adoptive father talking in the kitchen,

"I want Camilius as my partner… can he..?"

He felt overjoyed.

He jumped out of his hiding spot, which was the wall separating the kitchen from the hallway, and declared, "I want to marry Jinx, too..!"

Aleister had another headache.

Two babies, claiming each other already despite not even knowing how marriages really work and end up in. And here he thought he was getting the hang of being a young father.

"Later, then," he helplessly answered. "When Camilius reaches the age of eighteen, and if you two still want each other by then, you two can get married."

"B-but that's four years too long..!" Camilius groaned in protest. "I want him now..!"

Jinx didn't know what to say, either. All Furan Shi was thinking was the fact that he'd died twice for this. He somehow regretted killing himself in his first turn, but then remembered he'd only be perpetually bored there. But still, it had potential to be juicy.

But then again… well…

The second turn wasn't his fault. It had been a perfect story for him to explore. He just didn't see the poisoning thing coming.

"Wait until you're eighteen, Camilius," he heard Aleister sternly said to the other boy. "Mama Alodia wouldn't like seeing you make rash decisions."

"But this isn't rash—"

"That's final."

Camilius begrudgingly zipped his mouth, his frustration instead expressed by his long, smooth-scaled tail that kept clobbering the tiled floor behind him.

Aleister felt his shirt being tugged at by his son, so he left the python sulking there like the spoiled child he was and attended to his son.

Jinx was looking up at him with his own pleading eyes. "Papa, can I at least have him as my boyfriend..?"

Don't get him wrong, it was for the rewards as a transmigrator. He can still remember this world is filthy rich with points.

But where did these kids learn these things?!??

"W-what do you mean by "boyfriend"?" he asked back just to be sure. Maybe his son was still as innocent as ever.

"So I can touch his tongue with mine.."

It was another headache for his father. Aleister realized he still has so much left to learn about parenting.
