Prologue.    
      Being a victim of rape is a very pathetic situation, of which the victim should never  be blamed. Rather the  victim is to be cared for, pampered, treated specially because they are indeed special. No one, I mean no one has faced the physical, psychological and mental trauma they have passed through.Rape is a criminal and wicked act that should not be condoned. The rapist is prone to punishments like terms in jail, cast from society, bad image to family and society. The raped and rapist are exposed to contacting STDS.The raped usually faces discrimination from peers, suitors, friends and sometimes families. The victims sometimes do get pregnant, some try to abort it, but in the process damage their wombs, become wombless, and sometimes lose their lives. Some rape victims give in to suicide because the torments is always a lot and too much for them to handle.My name is Chidiebere Adam , a rape victim and the trauma I went through is what I am about to unveil.

So that's the end, I was a victim of many things such as hatred, rape, trauma et.c , but I was able to overcome them, today, am 60 years old, retired, a motivational speaker, a grandma and when I  see people facing difficulties, I feel their pain because I was there once.

I have 2 NGO's which produces clothing, shoes, handbags and its proceeding goes to charity. It has helped hard working people find employment

In life, there are many ups and downs, many falls, tears, losses, pain, hatred but you got to keep going don't fall back, if you fall because you may fall, take it that you are a child leading to walk and life is trying so hard to make sure you don't develop determination, don't react to emotions like I did, think, meditate before a move. The Ebere Adam you see now looking rich, happy was once traumatized, I attended therapy twice, life was brutal but we strive, all you need to do is try to stand and walk. God will do the rest.

Sometimes it may feel you've lost but God is with you. Just believe you can and you will. Trust in God never put hope on man's word. Many made honorable men and women of society were one time nothing and Nobody

No matter how much you feel pain, never let it drive you. When I allowed it drive me, I learnt an unforgettable lesson
