Chapter 28: Dealing with the Pirates 2

Since these pirates wouldn't pose a major threat, there was no need for them to obstruct the clan leader. However, what to do with the remaining innate martial artist-level pirates? The elders looked towards Fang Ming, the clan's most skilled healer, to see if he had any way to control these innate martial artists.

Seeing everyone looking at him, Fang Ming cleared his throat and shook his head, saying to Fang Yun,

"Clan leader, although I know a bit of medicine, creating a drug to control innate martial artists is not an easy task. The main reason is that our Fang family does not have experience in using drugs to control innate martial artists. Therefore, I don't have any solutions in this regard!"

The elders felt somewhat disappointed upon hearing this from Fang Ming. If they could control the innate martial artists present, the strength of the Fang family would undoubtedly increase significantly. However, what the Fang family needed most at this stage was actually the number of cultivators, not these innate martial artists.

Even if they added these innate martial artists, it wouldn't bring any fundamental change to the Fang family. If they couldn't be controlled, it would be better to kill or sell them. This way, it would also reduce some risks for the Fang family.

The innate martial artists among the pirates kneeling in the seawater listened to Fang Yun and the clan elders discuss their fate. The more they listened, the more desolate they felt. However, as defeated foes, they had no means to resist. They wanted to fight back, but thinking of Fang Yun's terrifying fireball technique, they ultimately did not dare to act rashly.

However, upon hearing that the Fang family was not willing to accept them, these innate-level pirates became anxious. They didn't want to be killed or sold; either outcome would be a tragic end for them.

"Immortal Master, we are willing to seal our cultivation and will not resist; we will let Immortal Master dispose of us!" The beautiful woman who had surrendered first quickly spoke up, casting a pleading gaze at Fang Yun.

Fang Yun glanced at her and then looked at Fang Ming. Since Fang Ming had said earlier that he would let the elders handle these innate martial artists, he felt it was inappropriate to intervene in their arrangements. It would be best if they could stay; if the elders insisted on dealing with these innate martial artists, Fang Yun wouldn't oppose it.

Fang Ming felt a bit of a headache seeing his clan leader looking at him again. Usually, he could do anything as a subordinate who followed orders.

Now, suddenly, the fate of more than a dozen innate martial artists was in his hands, and he truly didn't know how to handle it. After hesitating for a moment, Fang Ming finally said, "Clan leader, even if they seal their cultivation, there are still some hidden dangers."

As soon as he finished speaking, the innate martial artists who had been kneeling in the seawater suddenly sprang into the air and charged towards Fang Yun.

"Brothers, since the Fang family won't let us move, let's fight them!" The speaker was a thin middle-aged man who rushed forward a couple of steps.

However, seeing the other innate martial artist pirates rushing towards Fang Yun, he himself madly leaped towards the direction of the large ship, obviously wanting to buy time for his brothers to resist the pursuit and escape.

Meanwhile, the beautiful woman who remained kneeling in the seawater glanced at the thin man fleeing in the opposite direction, gritted her teeth, and continued to kneel without moving. The four people behind her, although a bit restless, ultimately trusted their leader and also knelt there without moving.

Fang Yun looked at the innate martial artists rushing towards him, a cold glint in his eyes. Although he felt a bit soft-hearted and wasn't quite able to adapt to this cruel world, it didn't mean he could let those coming to kill him go. He glanced down at the spirit talisman in his arms and ultimately decided against using such a one-time item.

After all, there weren't many of them, and using such resources on these innate martial artists was indeed a bit wasteful.

Then, before the elders could take action, Fang Yun swung the magical long knife in his hand. He intentionally made the blade's qi thinner, forming a ten-meter-long blade qi that sliced forward. In the terrified gaze of the pirates ahead, it directly struck them. The blade qi easily dispersed their protective true qi, cleaving them in two.

It flew over the heads of several pirates still kneeling in the seawater and quickly reached behind the thin man who had fled earlier. The thin man glanced back and saw the blade qi about to strike him, and he shouted in fear, "No! Immortal Master, spare me!"

Then he was sliced in half by the blade qi.

Though this all sounded complex, the events unfolded in the blink of an eye. Just as the elders were about to act, Fang Yun had already resolved the situation with a single strike. The elders looked at Fang Yun; they had previously thought he was a bit too merciful, but seeing him kill so many with one stroke, their impression of him was bound to change.

At this moment, Fang Lin shook his head and said, "Clan leader, we can handle these people. Your magical power is precious; it's really unnecessary to waste it on them!"

Fang Yun smiled and replied, "It's alright; it's still somewhat risky for you to act. I can recover the consumed magical power after returning!"

At this time, Fang Ming also smiled wryly and shook his head, saying,

"I didn't finish my earlier words! I heard that the Black Widow is an expert in poison, and she should have some poison that can control innate martial artists! In that case, if we can capture the Black Widow, we can control these innate martial artists to some extent. Unfortunately, I didn't finish speaking before they couldn't wait to take action!"

Fang Lin snorted coldly, glancing at the bodies soaking in the seawater, then at the last remaining beautiful woman and her four subordinates. "These pirates have no credibility; even if we subdue them temporarily, they will likely rebel given the chance, so it's better to kill them now!"

The beautiful woman trembled slightly upon hearing such an obvious insinuation but didn't dare to show any unusual movements. She could only await her fate.

Upon hearing this suggestion, Fang Yun looked at Fang Ming, then at the woman kneeling in the water. "Are you the Black Widow?"

"I am indeed the Black Widow. If Immortal Master needs it, I have a poison called Seven Leaf Seven Flower that can control the lives of other innate martial artists."

Fang Yun glanced at the other elders. They exchanged looks, knowing that their clan leader leaned towards keeping these innate martial artists. Although they preferred to kill all the innate martial artists, there were only five left, and the risk was still within control. Plus, with the poison to manage them, they could just about accept it.
