93. Weird Weapon

Rain follows the group to reach the front gate of the virtual arena where Sky is with her group.

Rain thought then the girl of Sky's age and the little girl is also a member of the Bell family. And the three are brothers and sisters. Cora the eldest sister, Allen the middle brother and Lilianna the youngest. 

Lilianna with a sweet smile spoke, "Brother Allen, I want to watch the fight of the newest team member."

Rain hears this and looks at her, and finds from her vitality is at middle D-rank. She looks like 2 years younger than me but her strength is at middle D-rank. Rain thought according to the rule of spark technology when only 16-year-olds are allowed to take Genetic medicine. 

But Lilianna looks 14 years or younger and she took Genetic medicine to break through D-rank, From this one can see how the powerful families bend the rules and most rules do not apply to them.

Lilianna," But I want to be part of elder sister Sky's team."

Cora," Look Lilianna wants to remain at Sky's team."

Allen," I cannot let Lilianna enter a weaker team when I know of a stronger team." Rain thought with 2 people in the true body realm our team is weak."

Cora," How can I Know Hei Lun's team is stronger than Sky's team."

Allen looks at Hei Lun. Hei Lun says," My team and Sky's team in paper strength are similar. So about a competition of two people in D-rank with similar strength."

Allen," Luke and Rain can compete and if Luke wins then Lilianna will join Hei Lun's team and if Rain wins then she will join Sky's Team"

Hei Lun," And they should compete in the real arena. Then we can know who is stronger."

Cora," Then Rain will win and we do not have to hold the competition." Allen, Hei lun, Luke, and the other boy stare at Cora. Cora continued," Rain is a late D-rank genetic warrior."

The four hear this astonished, the four astonished for a different reason. Rain overwhelming Malice rolling around Hei lun toward him.

Hei Lun, "Then I will call a late D-rank genetic warrior from our team. For the competition,"

Hei Lun hears Rain his blood begins to boil in anger. Now he did not have the choice to disagree. Hei Lun, "Let go and compete then."

As there is only one arena where a real battle can be fought. So they took their name. 

Rain waits for his name to be called and looks around the arena, he is not in the room where fighters get ready before their fight. In front of his holographic screen, he can see a fight going on the screen. The arena is like a gladiator arena of Rome. After some time Rain heard his name and Hei Lun being called.

Rain walks out of the room and to the fighting field surrounding Rain can hear the loud noise of spectators and sees his team member. And then looks in front of him standing Hei Lun with a spear in his hand.

Rain also took out his sword and watched Hei Lun. Rain is confident he will win but he wants to first gauze Hei Lun strength. When Hei Lun started attacking he only defended, Rain felt Hei Lun's strength was a little higher than his. Hei Lun is a veteran Late D-rank Genetic warrior and he broke through Late D-rank yesterday. So Hei Lun's strength is higher than him is makes sense which Rain already took into account before he asked Hei Lun for the fight.

The fight goes on, and Crowds start screaming the ' Hei Lun' name as he looks like winning and only his team members cheering him. Rain thought I was now familiar with his spear skill, 'Let's attack now.'

On the spectators, were Allen, Cora, sky, and others sitting together. Allen looks happy from the fight up to now he watches, Hei Lun looks like winning and Rain is being suppressed without a chance to attack.

Allen smiled happily," Cora looks like I am gonna win the Bet."

Cora also felt Hei Lun was winning so she did not reply to Allen and looked at Sky for an explanation. Before the fight, Sky told her not to worry, Rain would guarantee to win the fight.

Sky sees Cora looking at him accusingly," Do not worry Cora, Rain's fighting style is like this, he lets the opponent attack to get familiar with the opponent's strength and fighting style, and when he figures out his opponent he will start attacking."

Allen also hears Sky reassuring Cora, and Sacrastic speaks to his friend," Micheal does it look like Rain has any chance of winning the fight."

Before Micheal can reply, the fight in the fighting field takes a drastic turn, Rain dodges Hei Lun's attack with incredible speed and slashes at Hei Lun's hand leaving a cut that heals instantly. Allen seeing this understood Sky was right, As Rain's speed was twice as high before he was suppressed by Hei Lun in every area, now he burst in speed which means he could increase anytime during the fight before.

 Cora now watching the fight and fight turn to Rain's favor," Little Brother, Looks like I am going to win our Bet.

Rain first time in battle attacks Hei Lun and looks toward Hei Lun's arm, which he slashes with his sword leaving a cut, that is already healed then remembers Hei Lun's Genetic medicine and He is not from the same Genetic Beast but they have one thing in common the self-healing factor.

Hei Lun looked at his already healed arm and looked at Rain, understanding Rain was playing him, he was not suppressing Rain but Rain himself let himself be suppressed. His mind district in jealousy of Rain's talent. He is one year younger than Rain and became a late D-rank Genetic warrior before Rain, looking at this others may think he is more talented than Rain.

 He breakthrough the D-rank at 14 years which was one year ago but still, he is a late D-rank genetic warrior. Whereas Rain broke through D-rank the time passes did not exceed one month and under one month Rain reached late D-rank. But he Calmed his mind and did not attack Rain first and waited for Rain to attack this time.

Rain attacks with his sword vertically slashing him in his chest but as he raises his spear to defend himself, Rain vanishes in front of him before he can figure out where Rain is. He Feels pain in his back for a second as Someone slashes at his back. He did not check his back as genetic ability would heal the injury and frantically searched for Rain.

 He found Rain attacking his left side and this time he defended Rain attacked three times and again Rain disappeared and he felt pain in his thigh he looked at his thigh and watched as Rain inflicted a cut on his thigh and it was already healing. 

Hei Lun, thinking, if it goes on I will lose. And I will fail Father's mission to befriend Allen and Cora. He chooses Allen to befriend. But if he loses the fight, his mission will fail. His father will be more disappointed in him, as he is already disappointed in his father for his subpar talent as a genetic warrior. His Father when was his age was trying to break through the True body realm. Hei Lun defends Rain's attack but Rain vanishes from his sight again and he feels pain in his left shoulder. Hei Lun's eyes turn to determined and throws his spear away and takes out a silver cylinder shining with eerie green light. 

When he inserts his Genetic energy into the silver cylinder it turns into a silver color spear with a dark green head. and whisper from the spectator can he heard such as,' Weird weapon.' ' This is cheating.' and ' No it is not, contestant is allowed to bring their weapon.' Hei Lun then vertically slashes his Spear toward Rain from a distance where Rain is out of reach of the spear. 

But as Hei Lun slashes a dark green energy emerges from the spear's head extending its reach up to and beyond Rain. Rain hurriedly dodge. Spear energy touched the energy buried around the fighting field creating sparks and some energy drops dripped from the energy emitted from the spear after falling into the ground, it sizzled and a hole was formed in the ground where the energy drop landed.
