153. Entering the domain
Rain feels his body and soul's strength increase after he advances to peak D-rank. But he is not finished. He opens his eyes and is in front of a black flame inside a container. This is the holy object for those who advance to peak D-rank.
After using the flame from the initial peak D-rank will reach the complete peak D-rank, in a matter of hours. Even, if the color of the flame is black, it is known as the holy flame. It took him, 2000 merit to acquire.
Rain vanishes his thoughts and calms himself. He opens the container and gulps the flame into his mouth swiftly. Then Rain starts to feel the pain of burning from his throat to his stomach and then his entire body.

The holy flame is retrieved and again used by another. Rain's pain tolerance is high, he can handle the pain till now. The pain did not stop at a point but kept on increasing. He also finds he cannot disconnect the nerves of his body from his soul.
The holy flame is going to burn his soul too. He can see flame entering the spiritual gate, which stops him from cutting the connection with the nerves.
Rain is out of ideas to prevent him from becoming unconscious. And he stops because he can feel the burning feeling and the pain slowly disappearing. He opens his eyes to see, the black fire on his body growing faints and he waits for another 2 minutes for the fire and pain to disappear.
He then faints and starts dreaming, in which he is born as a super-healing lizard and lives as such until it dies because of humans. Then, the dream ants and darkness take over him again.
He wakes up one hour after he stops dreaming. The first thing, he does is walk up and listen to the messages in the Bit. The team commander Nelson's team consists of both Siobhan and Lily.
He finds Helen's message; she is also part of the team, which is a surprise because he thought she would remain in the Dead Battlefield. Rain now understands how unreasonable his body reacted to Helen.
Super Healing Lizards mate to one another for life. The dream, he dreamed was the memory of the Super Healing Lizard, from which his genetic medicine was created. And Helen's genetic medicine was his Super Healing Lizard's mate.
They felt attracted because of the Super Healing Lizard's Gene inside them. " Now, to advance to the true body realm?" Rain closes his eyes again and starts meditating. Slowly, the thoughts in his mind disappear, and he appears in a void, where he sees jade-colored light spots flying around him like butterflies.
He sinks his mind into one of the light spots and hears a voice explaining. He somehow feels he understands the voice's narration as if he had already heard it elsewhere.
Because he understood the voice, the voice vanished, and the light spot disappeared. Like the first light, Rain sank his thought into another six light spots and found that he had already heard and understood what the voice was explaining.
So, without wasting time, he sinks his thoughts into the seven light spots, listens to the voice's narration, and finds it hard to understand. The voice is on repeat; after it ends, it starts again.
Rain tries to understand words by words of the narration. Slowly, he understood the voice narration.
The voice is narrating the knowledge of innate spells, but the narration of the spell is incomplete. Other parts of the knowledge are among the light spots.
But he knows what the narration is all about. These light spots explain the innate spells of Super-Healing lizards. From the dream, he knows the super-healing lizard had three innate spells: Vitality Body, Energy Bomb, and Poison Claw.
The first six light spots were the narration of the Vitality Body and the seventh was the narration of the energy bomb. There are no names for these innate spells in Super Healing Lizard.
In the dream, he watches how they are used and names them to differentiate them.
Vitality Body—It cannot be called a spell but a practice method. With his method, the Super Healing Lizard absorbs vitality energy from the world and its food. The practice method is for a Super-Healing Lizard, so after completely understanding it, he has to convert it for him.
So, he can practice and advance to the 'True Body' realm. He felt he heard the narration of the six light spots before because the practice method he created, is similar.
The practice method is not similar but the application of vitality rules in both the practice method is the same. He already comprehended these fragments of vitality rules in the Star Immortal World.
Energy Bomb- The Super Healing Lizard forms an energy bomb in the open mouth of the Super Healing Lizard and shoots toward its prey or hunter. With this spell, he cannot break through the True Body realm.
He does not know if the light spots contain the knowledge for the poison claw spell. He does not mind if it is not there, he does not even need the knowledge of the energy bomb spell.
Every Radiation Monster has a unique application of 'rule' to become stronger. Humans take genetic medicine made from radiation beasts to graft the radiation beast genes with our genes.
So, we can practice the practice method of the radiation beast and raise our affinity with radiation energy. The world rejects humans after a cataclysm; radiation energy is a poison to humans.
One great thing about the Human Race is they will not take their death lying down without a fight. It now looks like the Human Race won, with genetic medicine, they became half human- half radiation beast. With this thought, Rain starts to understand the fragment of the spells in the light spot again.
And as the thirteen-light spot disappears, he sinks his mind into the fourteen-light.
He listens to the voice before he tries to understand the knowledge inside the light spot, his concentration is broken by the sound of alarm.
He is kicked out of the void, and he quickly stands up and puts on clothes. He was naked until now because he knew the holy flame, even if unable to burn him, would burn his clothes. He opens the door of his practice room and quickly runs to the apartment he is staying in.
After, a half hour, he gets out of his apartment wearing the combat uniform gets inside his car, and commands it to drive to the mine.
Commander Nelson had messaged him the entry time of the weird domain inside the mine was at 7.00 AM. And the time now is 6.27 AM. 25 people will be entering the weird domain, 20 D-rank Genetic warriors and 5 C-rank Genetic warriors.
Rain sees as the car stops at the building in front of the mine. In the doorway of the building, Siobhan and Lily are waiting for him.
He gets out of the car, and his face forms a smile automatically when he sees them. Rain greets them," Good morning, Siobhan and Lily. Are you waiting for me?"
Lily replies," Morning, and follow me quickly Commander Nelson called for a meeting, and after a couple of minutes the meeting will start."
They start to walk and Rain follows behind them. Siobhan greets sweetly," Good morning, Rain."
Rain nods to Siobhan and asks," What is the reason for the meeting?"
Lily answers," What reason will be other than the weird domain?"
Rain thought,' Did anybody enter the weird domain?' then dawned at him, speaking," The councilor and the chief manager of the mine open their mouth, to save themselves."
Siobhan says," Commander should have put them in prison, because of the 188 people suicide but they have to pay only a fine."
Lily answers," They are C-rank genetic warriors, and those who died are mostly D-rank and E-rank genetic warriors, and they have prominent families behind them."
While talking, they reached a closed door, Lily carefully opened the doors and Rain found it was a meeting room with a large table in the center and chairs along the table and by the walls.
And Commander Nelson already seated and staring at them, nods at them.
He, Siobhan, and Lily, quickly sit on empty seats by the table. Rain hears Commander Nelson," Rain, this will be the last time you are late. I let you go this time because you become a complete D-rank Genetic warrior."
Rain nods, then hears another voice that he knows, says" So, Commander Nelson I can be late to your meeting, If I break through C-rank." He is the captain of the other team under Commander Nelson.
Commander Nelson replies," Zilian, Three years have passed, and you are still stuck in the Late True Body realm."
Commander Nelson shakes his head in disappointment and continues," I do not why did you come with me and not fight in the dead battlefield domain."
Zilian says," I already bought Items that help to heavy rules and I took a break to understand the rule of Heavy."
Then another person from Zilian answered," Captain, you should not come then."
Zilian speaks," I came to clear my mind before I entered closed-door practice."
The same person mutters under his breath but in this room, everybody is a genetic warrior, his voice like someone whispering in their ear," Who Clear their mind, while fighting?"
Which brought a smile to Rain's face, he also first time someone cleared their mind from fighting.
Commander Nelson says," You should side the Dead Battlefield. You would have earned merit."
Rain sees Zilian open his mouth to answer but is interrupted by Chief Angus, who sarcastically says," Commander Nelson, I should leave your team members."
A frown came on Commander Nelson's face," Everybody meets Chief Angus, He will debrief you about the weird domain."
He stares at Angus for a few seconds and continues," The information about the weird domain, is from his brother who hid the weird domain for a year, and because of this 188 people died."
Rain already knew but it caused a commotion at the other team member who did not know. But most remain quiet, as this is the quarrel between two high positions and a C-rank Genetic warrior.
Angus hearing this relaxed himself in his chair and calmly spoke," There is no solid evidence that the weird domain is the reason for their suicide."
This made everyone at the table frown, helping his brother to lessen the crime, everyone can understand but this is completely escaping from accountability and he is the Guard Chief.
