Chapter 277: You Look Delicious

Hokage Office;

Shinho sat cross-legged on the couch, eyes closed in meditation.

Preparations for the Konoha Summit were complete.

With the shinobi world now unified, few matters could truly be called significant.

Aside from the occasional inquiries from the Hokage's secretary and assistant, he now had ample time to cultivate.

With the assistance of the White Cloud Cushion Gu, he felt it wouldn't take more than a few months before he could attempt to ascend to immortality.

The sun outside the window dipped lower, and before long, dusk had settled in.

The sharp sound of high heels echoed through the office.

Shinho opened his eyes and was greeted by the sight of a pair of shapely legs clad in black stockings.

Judging by the leg shape, it was Shizune.

After all, he was familiar with every inch of her skin.

"So, you're wearing black stockings with garter today?"

Shinho reached out, his hand finding the garter strap at her thigh.

"Can't you be serious for once?"

Shizune's body trembled at his touch, but she asked helplessly.

"As the Hokage, isn't it natural to care for my subordinates?"

Shinho countered with a smile.

"Such twisted logic!"

Shizune rolled her eyes at him but suddenly pressed her legs together, a faint blush rising to her face.

"I… We should head back."

"Let's go then."

Shinho stood up.

Shizune let out a sigh of relief.

But the next second, her rosy lips were sealed by his.

Her body stiffened, but after a few seconds, she melted into him.

She clung tightly to Shinho.

After a heated exchange, she gasped for air, her mouth slightly open.

"Your body's quite honest,"

Shinho teased.

Shizune glared at him, both embarrassed and annoyed.

"Let's go home."

Shinho gave a squeeze to her tight skirt before turning to leave the Hokage office.

Shizune let out a soft, dissatisfied hum but still followed closely behind him.

Another exhausting night awaited her.

The Next Day.

After breakfast, Shinho arrived early at the Hokage office.

He opened the door to find Samui inside.

The three Hokage secretaries had a daily routine of sorting documents.

While there wasn't an official rule, they took turns, and today was clearly Samui's shift.

She stood with her back to Shinho, bent over slightly at the Hokage's desk.

Her pencil skirt clung tightly to her hips, accentuating her voluptuous figure.

Further down, her black stockings shimmered with a silky sheen, making her long legs appear slender and smooth.

Samui's movements paused slightly.

She felt that familiar gaze again.

"What style of stockings are you wearing?"

Shinho asked curiously.

"..."

Samui hesitated, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Pantyhose."

Shinho couldn't help but take a soft breath.

Pantyhose, stockings that covered from the toes all the way up to the waist.

"They suit you well."

Shinho smiled.

Samui bit her lip, a faint blush coloring her face.

Her personality was usually cool, but answering such an intimate question naturally caused a reaction.

Before long, the documents were organized.

"Hokage-sama."

Samui picked up a stack of papers and asked, "Anything else?"

"I'm heading to Hoshigakure. I'll be back in about two days."

Shinho looked at the mature, alluring secretary and added, "I'll leave things to you three for now."

Since it was his first time leading a team as a sensei, he planned to approach the mission the traditional way, eaching his students along the journey.

"Understood."

Samui gave a slight bow, causing her fitted suit to shift gently.

She straightened up and left the office.

Shinho picked up a document from the desk.

Time passed, and soon it was nine o'clock.

Finishing his cultivation, he headed to the Konoha village gates.

Hinata, Hanabi, Amaru, and Fu were already waiting.

Since they all lived with the Hyuga clan now, they had set out together.

"Brother-in-law!"

Hanabi greeted him cheerfully, her face lit up with a bright smile.

Hinata glanced at him, her mind flashing back to yesterday's kiss, and a blush crept up her cheeks.

Shinho was momentarily stunned.

Her body rose and fell gently with each breath, her Byakugan seeming to hold a faint moist sheen, and an alluring aura surrounded her.

Why is she blushing?

Shinho wondered if something had gone wrong in her training.

But now wasn't the time to bring that up.

"Let's move out."

Shinho waved his hand.

It was Hanabi's first time going on a mission, and she was energetic along the way.

Fu was equally lively.

Only Amaru remained quiet, occasionally pulling out a notebook to jot down notes.

As they traveled, Shinho explained various precautions.

Having been a ninja for so many years, he had plenty of knowledge to share.

At least teaching three freshly graduated students was no problem.

Hoshigakure was located in the Land of Bears, nestled between the Land of Wind and the Land of Earth.

Shinho chose a route passing through the Land of Wind first before heading to the Land of Bears.

By nightfall, the group of five had entered the Land of Wind.

"Let's rest here for the night."

Shinho noticed the fatigue on Hanabi and the others' faces.

After traveling the entire day and entering the arid, sandy environment of the Land of Wind, fatigue was inevitable.

"Alright!"

Hanabi perked up, immediately responding with excitement.

"Your final test for today,"

Shinho smiled,

"Everyone will set up their own tent."

"I want to sleep with Nee-san!"

Hanabi raised her hand, trying to find an easy way out.

"No."

Shinho rejected her without a second thought.

Seeing that she couldn't slack off, Hanabi had no choice but to obediently comply.

Under Shinho's guidance, five tents were soon erected.

"Brother-in-law, are we really eating just this tonight?"

Hanabi asked, holding a rice ball with a pitiful expression.

"While on missions, we keep things simple."

Shinho replied seriously.

"Alright then."

Hanabi glared at Shinho before taking a fierce bite of the rice ball, as if imagining it was him instead.

"You're a ninja Hanabi, act like one."

Shinho flicked her forehead lightly, offering a bit of tough love.

"Yes!"

Hanabi forced herself to stay spirited.

After their simple dinner, Shinho returned to his tent.

He closed his eyes, seizing the time to cultivate.

As the night deepened, Hinata suddenly sat up.

She couldn't sleep.

There was still something left undone…training.

Yesterday, Shinho had mentioned continuing their training today, but that moment never came.

Just then, she heard footsteps.

Hinata instinctively turned her head.

Activating her Byakugan, she saw it was Shinho.

She froze, unsure how to react.

"Are you asleep?"

Shinho asked.

"N-No…"

Hinata replied softly, feeling an inexplicable sense of anticipation rise within her.

Shinho stepped inside.

Since they were on a mission, Hinata had slept fully dressed, not in her usual kimono, but the standard long-sleeved top and pants.

The only difference from daytime was that she had removed her Konoha forehead protector from around her neck, revealing her fair skin.

Shinho sat across from her, pulling out a small table and setting out various snacks and dishes.

Grilled meat, takoyaki, ramen.

All of it steaming hot, as if freshly made.

And indeed, it was. Shinho had used his Moving Perspective Cup Gu to transport the food directly from Konoha.

"Have your fill."

Shinho reached out, ruffling Hinata's hair.

"Should we… call Hanabi and the others over?"

Hinata asked hesitantly.

"Are you sure?"

Shinho raised an eyebrow, questioning her.

Hinata paused for a moment, realizing that if Hanabi and the others came over, it would ruin their private moment together.

"Then… let's eat."

Hinata whispered, her face turning red.

As an older sister, she usually thought of Hanabi first, but this time, she let it slip.

"It's their first day as ninjas. It's good for them to face some hardship."

Shinho chuckled, handing her a pair of chopsticks.

"Thank you, Shinho-kun."

Hinata replied instinctively.

"No need to be so formal."

Shinho pinched her cheek lightly, "If I hear you say 'thank you' again, there'll be consequences."

Hinata blinked, then nodded, her face turning an even deeper shade of red.

Why does she keep blushing? Shinho couldn't help but feel a stir of emotion at her adorable expression.

Hinata picked up a piece of grilled meat.

Pausing, she asked,

"Shinho-kun, aren't you eating?"

"I will."

Shinho pulled his gaze back, picking up his chopsticks.

Outside, the night grew darker.

Hinata ate gracefully, the faint blush still on her face adding to her charm.

"Hinata."

Shinho suddenly remembered something and asked,

"Have you thought about applying to become a jōnin?"

"Jōnin?"

Hinata looked at him in surprise.

"With your current strength, you're more than qualified to become one."

Shinho explained.

"I… I don't think I'm ready yet."

Hinata replied softly, lacking confidence.

"With the shinobi world unified, Konoha needs capable people more than ever."

Shinho paused,

"Don't you want to help me?"

"Eh?"

Hinata's eyes widened instinctively.

So… does Shinho-kun really need me?

"I'll apply as soon as we get back!"

Hinata answered without hesitation.

"I'll arrange for it after the Konoha Summit."

Shinho smiled.

He wasn't lying.

With over a hundred thousand ninjas in the shinobi world, managing them required trustworthy people in key positions.
