Chapter 288.5: The First Emperor of the Shinobi World

Hinata's heart trembled, she seemed to have guessed what was coming.

She lifted her head, her face burning red as she gazed at him, like a blooming rose.

Shinho sat down beside her, his eyes fixed on her lips as he leaned in.

Hinata instinctively parted her lips.

Her pale, snow-white skin quickly became tinged with a deep blush, spreading from her cheeks down to her earlobes. Her entire complexion now held a delicate, rosy glow.

After a long while, their lips separated.

"Hinata."

Shinho looked at her soft, glistening lips and murmured, "You're truly adorable."

Hinata only stared at him in a daze, her breathing slightly ragged.

"Starting next time, we'll move on to a new training regimen."

Shinho kissed her once more before getting up and heading to the door, calling for Yugao to bring two meals.

Hinata, still in a daze, remained lost in thought for an unknown length of time.

She exhaled slowly, her heartbeat gradually settling down.

Then, she recalled Shinho's mention of "new training," and her fingers unconsciously clenched at the fabric of her clothes.

Would it be even more advanced than Measuring her burden ?

Hinata wasn't completely ignorant, but in front of Shinho, she willingly surrendered herself.

"Come, let's eat."

Shinho placed the food on the table and smiled.

Hinata hurriedly got up, flustered.

Seeing that he wasn't paying attention to her expression, she let out a quiet sigh of relief.

Lunch took longer than usual.

Because of Hinata's small appetite, they had to refill her portion several times.

As the sun set and night fell, a knock sounded at the door of Yugito's residence.

She got up and walked over.

Opening the door, she was surprised to see Samui and Mabui standing there.

Ever since becoming the Hokage's secretaries, they had been extremely busy and it was rare for them to visit together.

"There's something you need to know."

Samui got straight to the point. "The Hokage wants you to join the Anbu."

"What?"

Yugito's expression froze, then quickly twisted into anger. "That bastard!"

"Keep your voice down!"

Mabui tensed up and quickly hushed her.

"I refuse!" Yugito growled. "I'm a kunoichi of Kumo!"

"If you know you're a shinobi of Kumo, then you should also understand the consequences of refusing," Samui said calmly.

"..."

Yugito's fists clenched as she gritted her teeth. "There's no other way?"

"Yugito."

Mabui tried to reason with her. "Being in the Anbu isn't a bad thing. Plus, you'll still get paid."

Yugito fell into silence.

Currently, she had no income.

She could take missions, but they would all be issued by Konoha.

And as a sister to Mabui and Samui, watching them struggle while she stayed idle was unsettling.

"Fine."

In the end, Yugito had to swallow her pride and compromise.

Mabui let out a breath of relief.

Right now, she was terrified of upsetting Shinho again and triggering another round of punishment.

"I'll cook tonight."

Samui softened her tone. "It's been a while since we last gathered like this."

"That's true."

Mabui sighed inwardly.

The last time had been in Kumo.

She didn't know if they would ever return there.

After all, their families had already relocated to Konoha.

A new day began.

Shinho climbed out of his warm bed.

After dressing, he glanced at the still-sleeping Tsunade, thinking to himself how tempting she looked.

She lay on the bed, her full, curvaceous figure draped in the sheets, her fair skin tinged with a faint rosy hue. With every breath, her chest rose and fell gently.

Shizune, too, was equally stunning.

Together, they were a truly breathtaking sight.

Shinho turned away and left the room.

Washing up, cooking, eating. Then it was time for work.

As he neared the Hokage's office, he spotted two striking figures standing at the entrance.

Samui and Yugito.

But there was no sign of Mabui.

"Hokage-sama."

Samui stepped forward and bowed slightly.

Shinho glanced downward.

Her white blouse had one fewer button fastened than usual, revealing more than expected.

"Good morning."

Shinho greeted her with a smile.

He was the type to repay both kindness and grievances.

Since Samui was playing along, he had no reason not to reciprocate.

"Hokage-sama."

Yugito, less willing, reluctantly called out.

"You will serve as an Anbu squad captain from now on."

Shinho gave her a brief glance. "You'll be stationed at the my door. And be ready for when I call you."

Yugito clenched her teeth, her chest rising and falling with frustration.

In Kumo, she had been treated like a star, respected and admired.

Now, she was reduced to standing watch at the Hokage's door.

"Yugito."

Samui discreetly gave her a look.

"…Yes."

Yugito swallowed her resentment and forced out a reply.

"My apologies, Hokage-sama."

Samui followed Shinho into the office. "Yugito's temperament is just like that."

"I know."

Shinho remained indifferent.

Samui quietly let out a breath.

If possible, she didn't want Yugito getting too close to Shinho.

Her temperament was like a ticking time bomb.

Even though she and Mabui could keep an eye on her, it was still a source of concern.

"But I'm a fair person."

Shinho's gaze drifted downward from her beautiful face.

"As a small punishment, you can give me a massage in her place."

Samui tensed at his words, a hint of embarrassment flickering across her face.

She took a step forward, her long legs clad in black stockings, stopping just in front of him.

After hesitating for a moment, she reached out and unfastened her blazer, revealing the fitted white shirt underneath.

The fabric was thin but not transparent, perfectly outlining her curves.

Samui extended her hand, pressing Shinho's head against her chest.

She exhaled slowly, preparing to start the massage, only for her wrist to be caught.

The next second, her body stiffened.

Something brushed against her skin.

Again!

Samui's face flushed red.

Shinho lifted his head, trailing upward like a snail, until their eyes met.

Almost instinctively, Samui leaned in and kissed him.

Her heartbeat quickened uncontrollably.

A long while later, their lips parted.

Shinho glanced at her smooth, pale skin before reaching out and buttoning up her blazer.

Finally, he patted her gently twice before withdrawing his hand.

Samui remained silent, her face crimson as she let him assist her.

Shinho felt that this ripe fruit would soon be ready to pick.

Exhaling, he asked, "Is there anything urgent today?"

"There is one thing."

Samui composed herself and replied, "A letter from Sasuke Uchiha."

Shinho casually took the letter and skimmed through it.

As expected, Black Zetsu had agreed to Sasuke's terms.

They would provide Hashirama's cells, but the surgery itself would not be interfered with.

Samui watched him carefully as he read, a subtle daze in her eyes.

Had she… already developed feelings for him?

Liking Shinho was normal, after all, he was too powerful, too exceptional, and not bad-looking either.

The only thing standing between them was Kumogakure.

Thinking about this left Samui feeling conflicted and uncertain.

"When Sasuke returns, have him go to Orochimaru for the surgery," Shinho said after finishing the letter.

The Hashirama cells should have the same effect as Naruto's cells.

But just in case, it wouldn't hurt to take a small sample of Naruto's cells as well.

The only question was when Sasuke would awaken his Rinnegan.

It wouldn't be easy.

He would likely need the Sage of Six Paths' intervention.

Shinho stroked his chin in thought.

Given the current situation, would the Sage of Six Paths even appear?

"How are the preparations for the coronation?"

Shinho casually handed the letter back to Samui and asked.

"Everything is nearly complete," Samui replied after some thought. "At most, it'll take another week."

"Good."

Shinho was looking forward to the achievements that would come with his coronation.

After all, he would be the first emperor of the shinobi world.

Two Days Later;

Shinho met the returning Sasuke.

Sasuke looked more mature than before. After all, he was now an adult.

Uchiha Mikoto had originally planned to pass the position of clan head to him, but he refused, saying he wanted to train for another two years.

"Shinho."

Sasuke greeted him proactively.

"Mm."

Shinho nodded slightly. "Let's go."

He turned and walked toward Orochimaru's research facility.

"That… what is that?"

Sasuke's gaze immediately locked onto the massive golden Tenseigan.

The eye radiated an astonishing level of ocular power, yet it was distinctly different from the Rinnegan.

"The evolved form of the Byakugan, the Tenseigan."

Shinho explained casually.

"The Byakugan can evolve?"

Sasuke was visibly shocked.

He had never heard of this before. But then again, he hadn't known the Sharingan could evolve into the Rinnegan either.

"Give Orochimaru the sample."

Shinho paused and added, "Don't worry him pulling anything, I'll be watching."

Sasuke took out a test tube and then lay down on the operating table.

Shinho stepped back a few paces, standing at a distance as he observed the surgery.

The transplantation of Hashirama's cells was far more complex than eye transplantation.

After all, it involved working on a much finer level, at a cellular level.

By the time night fell, the operation was finally complete.

Sasuke slowly sat up, his face showing unexpected delight.

He could feel it, his body had grown significantly stronger.

Especially his physical strength and regenerative abilities.

For him, this was truly incredible.

Now, he finally believed that with Hashirama's cells, he might actually awaken the Rinnegan.

"How do you feel?"

Shinho asked.

"I feel great."

Sasuke exhaled deeply.

"Go back and rest."

Seeing that there were no complications, Shinho was reassured.

"Thank you for today, Shinho."

Sasuke stepped down from the operating table and expressed his sincere gratitude.

"It's nothing."

Shinho smiled. "The stronger you become, the better it is for Konoha."

April quickly came to an end, and in the blink of an eye, May arrived.

May 1st, the day of Shinho's coronation.

Early in the morning, The Capital City of Land of Fire bustled with activity.

Everywhere, extravagant decorations adorned the streets.

But none of that concerned Shinho.

His role in all of this was simple: to wait.

At 9 AM, Shinho, dressed in regal robes, arrived at the palace hall.

The major leaders of Konoha and officials from various shinobi institutions stood in two lines, watching him with expressions of deep respect and reverence.

Shinho stepped forward and took his seat atop the grand dragon throne.

"All hail His Majesty!"

Everyone dropped to their knees in unison.

Shinho glanced over the assembled crowd.

At the front left row stood the commanders of Konoha's nine ninja divisions.

On the right front row, leading the noble clans, was the Hyūga Clan.

Behind them stood the elite jōnin and officials from various departments, figures like Konan, Samui, and Shizune.

"Rise."

Shinho spoke calmly.
