114 Special Training, Teacher Kaido Standard

In the following days, Simu dedicated his time to training the little troublemaker.

It was wartime, after all, and even fresh graduates from the ninja academy were being sent to the battlefield. Now there is no such kind of D-level task like looking for pets or picking up trash to slowly entertain them.

This was exactly how Simu preferred it.

The higher the level of missions these kids took on, the better their pay—and the more shares they'd contribute.

However, Simu's training methods were... unconventional.

"Mr. Simu, why are you holding such a huge stick?"

Uchiha Obito asked nervously, eyeing the two-to-three-meter-long wooden staff in Simu's hand.

A sense of dread crept over him.

Rin and Kakashi exchanged uneasy glances, their expressions mirroring Obito's concern.

Simu casually tapped the stick against his palm, a sly smile forming on his face. "This? It's for helping you train, of course."

"H-how exactly does it help?" Obito stammered, now thoroughly panicked.

No matter how he looked at it, the stick didn't seem remotely related to training.

Simu tapped the wooden stick with a sly smile. "You'll find out soon enough."

Determined to boost his "Kaido imitation value," Simu decided to take inspiration from a once-infamous teacher, Kaido.

Initially, he considered using a mace but quickly realized that with the current physical condition of these kids, one hit could be disastrous.

After some thought, he settled on a wooden stick—still imposing but far safer.

Even so, the stick was noticeably oversized.

"Here's the training method," Simu announced.

"Use all your strength to attack me." He then drew a small circle around himself in the dirt.

"If you can force me out of this circle, I lose, and I'll treat you all to barbecue for an entire week."

The rules were simple, but Simu left out one key detail: after they attacked, he planned to send them flying right out of the ring.

Obito punched the air with a clenched fist.

"Yossh, let Simu-sensei witness the true strength of Uchiha Obito!"

Obito shouted confidently, stepping forward.

Kakashi narrowed his eyes, carefully observing Simu and the oversized wooden club in his hand, trying to decipher Simu's intentions. Rin adjusted her ninja pouch, readying herself to support Obito in the skirmish.

Nearby, Two-Tails watched the scene unfold and sighed softly. "These kids really have no fear," the beast muttered under its breath.

Without wasting time, Obito charged at Simu, his movements full of determination. Rin quickly threw kunai to provide cover for Obito's advance.

Of course, such attacks were far too weak to pose any threat to Simu. Even if he stood completely still and allowed the strikes to land, they wouldn't leave a scratch.

However, to show respect for their efforts, Simu made a point to dodge the attacks, albeit casually.

Then Obito decided to pull out his trump card—his signature move and the only Fire Style technique he had mastered so far.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!" he shouted, releasing a blazing fireball that hurtled toward Simu with impressive force.

Simu, unfazed, swung the massive wooden stick with ease, sending the fiery attack scattering harmlessly into embers.

Simu swung the massive wooden stick, hitting the incoming fireball with force.

The impact shattered the fireball, scattering it into harmless flickers of flame.

"How is that possible? It's just a wooden stick—why didn't it catch fire?" Obito asked, bewildered.

"Idiot," Kakashi said coolly, his sharp eyes analyzing the scene.

"Teacher using some kind of special force on the stick."

The "special force," of course, was Haki—an ability only Simu in this world understood.

Simu smirked, clearly amused. "Impressive, Kakashi. You saw through my trick so quickly."

Even when dealing with his own students, Simu maintained his infuriatingly smug attitude.

"A special power?" Obito, for once, didn't get angry at being called an idiot.

Instead, he focused intently on Simu, determination shining in his eyes.

This guy... he really wanted to beat Simu.

"Alright, I'm serious now!" Obito declared, adjusting his goggles with resolve, his expression full of focus and determination.

Obito pulled a kunai from his ninja pouch and used the Shadow Clone Technique, charging at Simu from two directions simultaneously.

Unfortunately, Obito's clone tactic was useless against Simu's Observation Haki, which easily detected the real one.

As the two Obitos closed in from both sides, Simu calmly raised his massive wooden stick.

In an instant, dazzling lightning enveloped the stick, crackling and roaring with energy. At that moment, Simu looked like a master commanding the power of a thousand storms.

"Raimei Hakke!"

The electrified wooden stick struck Obito's real body with precision. The force of the blow, enhanced by lightning and Haki, sent Obito flying like a cannonball.

The hair on the top of the head was even more scorched black, and black smoke was billowing from his mouth.

As Obito's real body hit the ground unconscious, his clone vanished into a puff of smoke.

"Obito!" Rin gasped, rushing to catch him before he hit the ground.

Without hesitation, she began using her recently learned Healing Jutsu to treat his injuries.

Kakashi remained indifferent.

No matter how reckless Simu appeared, he was personally appointed by the Hokage to train them. Surely, he wouldn't actually cripple a student during normal training, right?

"It seems I might've gone a bit overboard," Simu admitted, scratching his head in embarrassment.

Kakashi, who had just been full of confidence in Simu, suddenly froze.

Perhaps the Hokage's faith in this teacher wasn't really reliable after all.

Of course, Simu was only joking. He had complete control over his strength.

The blow was calibrated perfectly—not only to let Obito experience the power of Haki, but also to expose his body to a controlled amount of lightning.

It was enough to toughen him up, maybe even open up his chakra flow like a side benefit.

As for the fainting and minor burns? Just minor inconveniences on the road to growth, nothing to worry about.

Simu glanced at Obito's singed body and muttered to himself, "Kaido methods truly are unmatched. His teaching prowess might be the best in the ninja world... even in the pirate world."

To ensure there were no lasting issues, Simu performed the Summoning Technique, summoning Katsuyu Sage to assist with Obito's recovery.

"Mr. Kizaru, do you have any orders?"

Simu, being well-acquainted with Katsuyu Sage, didn't bother with formalities. He pointed directly at the unconscious Obito and said, "Katsuyu, could you heal that brat for me?"

"Of course," Katsuyu replied calmly.

Simu stepped aside, giving room for Katsuyu to work.

Over the years, countless stories had spread about Simu's achievements, and many were intertwined with the contributions of Katsuyu Sage and Two-Tails.

If Two-Tails was Simu's sharp spear, Katsuyu Sage was undoubtedly his unyielding shield. Many lives had been saved under Katsuyu's care, pulling people back from the brink of death.

Under Katsuyu's precise treatment, Obito's injuries quickly healed. Rin observed closely, determined not to miss any detail of the process.

Simu adjusted his glasses, his tone nonchalant as he turned to Kakashi.

"Since Obito's out of commission, it's your turn, Kakashi."

Without a moment's hesitation, Kakashi drew the White Fang from his back, charging at Simu with unwavering resolve.

"Shadow Clone Technique!"

Two Kakashis, along with Obito, flanked Simu from opposite sides. One of the Kakashis quickly performed hand seals and pressed his palm to the ground.

"Earth Style: Coyote Technique!"

From the earth, a massive rock emerged, rapidly shaping into a fierce, snarling coyote mid-air. With a thunderous roar, it lunged at Simu.

"Impressive," Simu remarked with a slight smile. "I didn't expect you to have mastered so many techniques at your age."

For academy students, mastering even one elemental ninjutsu beyond the basic Three Body Technique was rare and marked exceptional talent. Yet Kakashi had already demonstrated one Wind Style and two Earth Style ninjutsu.

With such remarkable potential, it was no wonder he would eventually become the youngest Jōnin in Konoha's history.

Simu casually swung his massive wooden stick, effortlessly smashing the charging coyote into fragments.

Kakashi didn't seem surprised. As the debris scattered, his clone darted forward from within the shattered rock, seizing the opening.

Simu had already anticipated the move. With a quick sidestep, he evaded Kakashi's attack and lightly tapped the clone with his wooden stick.

The crackling arc of electricity instantly dissipated the clone in a puff of smoke.

Meanwhile, Kakashi's real body charged in from the right.

Simu didn't even glance at him. Instead, he raised his wooden stick and brought it crashing down onto the ground.

Boom!

The ground trembled violently, and Kakashi, who had been hiding beneath it to launch a surprise attack, was forced out of hiding by the shockwave.

"Raime Hakke!"

Kakashi met the same fate as Obito. The lightning-infused strike, tailored to hit just hard enough, sent him flying and left him unconscious.

Simu, ever precise, had calculated the exact force for each student. It was always enough to push them past their limits but never enough to cause lasting harm.

Passing out was inevitable.

Rin, who had been closely observing Katsuyu Sage's healing technique, finally turned her attention back to the battlefield.

Rin quickly realized that the purpose of Simu's training today was to push everyone to their limits—just enough to knock them unconscious.

She bit her lip and hesitated before speaking softly,

"Simu-sensei, I... um..."

Simu drove his stick into the ground.

"You don't need to join in yet, Rin. I'll test things with the two of them first. If it works well, you can join in later."

"Yes!"

Rin nodded without hesitation. She didn't want to end up like Obito or Kakashi, with scorched bodies.

Under Katsuyu's healing, Obito was back on his feet in less than ten minutes.

"Damn it! I'll beat you this time!"

As soon as Obito regained his senses, he charged at Simu, shouting,

"Shadow Clone Technique!"

Obito used the Shadow Clone Technique again, trying to sandwich Simu from both sides. It seemed like he only knew this tactic.

The result was quick and clear—

"Raime Hakke!"

Obito A charged, and in no time, he was defeated.

Kakashi's battle IQ was much higher. From the moment Simu saw through the Shadow Clone Technique, he realized Simu had some special reconnaissance ninjutsu. So, Kakashi stopped wasting chakra with that tactic.

However, as a freshly graduated ninja, even with his talent, Kakashi couldn't overcome Simu's overwhelming strength.

For the next month, the people of Konoha frequently heard the roar of thunder coming from the Death Forest.
