186 Seven Swordsmen of Mist

After the Seven Swordsmen departed, Black and White Zetsu emerged from a nearby tree trunk.

"You really think these guys can kill Hanyu Simu?" White Zetsu asked, a rare hint of doubt in his voice.

Normally, he wouldn't even consider such a question. After all, no single shinobi could stand against the power of an entire nation.

Kirigakure wasn't yet the weakened village it would later become under the Bloody Mist. It had never truly suffered a collapse during the Third Great Ninja War, and its military strength remained formidable.

The Seven Swordsmen were still intact, with no defectors.

The Fourth Mizukage was a powerhouse in his own right, backed by a controlled Three Tails.

The village boasted hundreds of Jōnin, and an unknown yet powerful elder, Genji, lurked in the shadows.

By all accounts, Kirigakure was still worthy of being called one of the Five Great Nations.

And yet, White Zetsu hesitated.

The battle he had just witnessed left an impact too great to ignore.

Black Zetsu's voice was cold.

"Don't worry. Even if this rabble fails to kill Hanyu Simu... Madara-sama will handle it."

"What? Madara-sama is going to make a move?"

White Zetsu muttered, "Madara-sama looks like he's on his last breath. Are you sure he can still fight?"

Hearing this, Black Zetsu shot him a sharp glare.

Madara was the key to his ultimate plan to free his mother.

His voice turned cold. "Stop talking nonsense. Focus on restoring your pupil power. If you can control another Tailed Beast, it'll ease some of the pressure."

"Yeah, yeah, I know." White Zetsu grumbled.

As a unique White Zetsu variant, his greatest ability was fueling the Sharingan.

Controlling Yagura and the Three Tails had drained the pupil power stored by Madara's Sharingan.

If he wanted to cast another illusion, he needed time to recover.

Meanwhile, the battle raged on.

Yagura, despite the odds, proved worthy of his title as Mizukage. His strength exceeded Black Zetsu's expectations.

Though not as fast as Simu, he skillfully used water ninjutsu to disrupt Simu's movements, preventing him from advancing too easily.

At the same time, Yagura felt the weight of Simu's terrifying power.

"So this is the monster they call the next-generation Ninja God…" he muttered, eyes filled with both fear and admiration.

Yagura never imagined he would face an opponent of this caliber in his lifetime.

On the surface, it seemed like he was holding his own against Simu, but in reality, he was burning through a massive amount of chakra just to keep up.

If this continues, I won't last half an hour…

"The God of Ninjas? I couldn't care less about that."

Simu had no interest in such titles.

He spread his arms wide, and faint ripples formed in the air behind him.

A moment later, thousands of glowing weapons materialized, each exuding an overwhelming killing intent that locked onto Yagura like a death sentence.

Yagura's heart pounded. Without hesitation, he quickly formed a hand seal.

"Water Style: Water Barrier!"

A massive wall of water surged up, forming an impenetrable curtain between him and Simu.

But Simu remained unfazed.

With a single motion, he swung his hand forward.

"King's Treasure!"

The golden weapons behind him rained down like a storm of lightning.

Even Yagura's towering water barrier summoned with all his strength was shredded apart in an instant.

Yagura never expected his Water Barrier to fully stop Simu's attack in the first place.

The moment Simu launched his assault, Yagura vanished, leaving only a water clone behind to take the hit.

"There you are."

With his powerful Observation Haki, the misty battlefield meant nothing to Simu.

In just a second, he locked onto Yagura's position.

He swung his kanabo with devastating force.

"Hakoku!"

A massive shockwave ripped through the water, forcing Yagura to dodge once again.

The attack didn't stop there it pierced through the lake's surface and slammed into the lakebed, sending tremors across the battlefield.

Simu slowly lifted his gaze toward the dense forest ahead.

A powerful aura was rushing toward him fast.

"The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, huh

And they weren't alone.

All of Mist Village's Jōnin were converging on the battlefield.

Yagura might not have Simu's monstrous perception, but one look at his expression was enough—reinforcements had arrived.

Just as Yagura let out a small sigh of relief, Simu stomped down on the lake with both feet.

Boom!

The sheer force shattered the water's surface, creating a massive crater.

Using the momentum, Simu launched himself into the sky, his target clear Kirigakure.

Yagura's face darkened instantly.

Even though he was under Madara's illusion, the genjutsu had only subtly altered his beliefs.

Madara had simply planted the idea that Hanyu Simu was the greatest threat nothing more.

Yagura's love for Kirigakure remained untouched, making him believe that everything he was doing was absolutely right.

Yagura's anxiety grew.

He didn't want Kirigakure to suffer too much for this battle.

But Simu had no intention of holding back.

Since they had made a move against him, he would use this chance to cripple Kirigakure's leadership.

With that thought, cyan-blue dragon scales began spreading across his skin.

His body expanded rapidly, tall above like a god of war.

The sheer pressure of his Conqueror's Haki took form, crackling with dark red lightning that roared around him.

Simu gripped his kanabo with both hands, his body surging with raging thunder.

With a powerful stomp, the very air shattered beneath him.

"Three Realm: Yin Naraku!"

A deafening sonic boom shook the battlefield.

The Mist Shinobi froze in shock, eyes wide as they looked up in horror.

Biwa Juzo's breath hitched.

From the sky, a colossal thunder pillar came crashing down, carrying an unstoppable, divine fury.

His voice cracked as he screamed:

"Get out of the way!"

The moment Biwa Juzo shouted, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen reacted instantly.

But the ordinary ninjas weren't so lucky.

The thunder pillar crashed down, unleashing divine wrath upon the battlefield.

The earth split apart, forming an enormous crater, its depth unimaginable.

Rocks and dust erupted into a massive sandstorm, surging outward with the force of a shockwave.

In an instant, hundreds of lives vanished.

Through the swirling smoke and debris, Biwa Juzo's gaze locked onto the massive pit.

"Damn it... One attack caused this much destruction?"

Even with over a decade of battlefield experience, he had never seen such power before.

"When it comes to raw strength, Samehada and I have never lost!"

Fuguki Suikazan hoisted his massive blade and charged forward.

Juzo couldn't stop him.

But then

A tall figure emerged from the dust.

A shadow, several times larger than Fuguki himself.

For the first time, Biwa Juzo's body stiffened.

Fuguki was already the biggest man in Kirigakure…

Yet, the enemy before them was even more terrifying.

"Hmm?"

Simu's golden pupils gleamed through the smoke.

Fuguki Suikazan hesitated, his eyes locked onto Simu's form.

Dragon scales.

Dragon horns.

A thick tail swaying behind him.

This was no ordinary man.

Seeing Fuguki pause, Biwa Juzo immediately took charge.

"Everyone, attack together!"

He knew Fuguki alone stood no chance. But if they worked together, there was a sliver of hope.

The remaining five swordsmen sprang into action.

At some point, nearly invisible threads had already wrapped around Simu's arm.

Razor-sharp.

Unbelievably tough.

Even armored ninjas would be sliced apart by these wires.

Yet—

Under Simu's Armament Haki, his scales were harder than steel.

The wires screeched as they scraped against his body—

But they didn't cut through.

Kushimaru's face twisted in disbelief.

A muffled voice slipped from beneath his eerie mask.

"How… how is this possible?"

The other ninjas were just as stunned.

They had fought together for years. Every enemy they faced had only one option—dodge the slicing threads of [Long Blade: Sewing Needle].

Yet this man…

He didn't dodge.

He didn't block.

He simply took the attack—head-on.

With his bare body.

It was unbelievable.

But as elite ninjas, there was no time to dwell on shock.

Kurosuki Raiga tightened his grip on his twin Thunder Blades.

With a swift slash, he struck the wires still wrapped around Simu's arm.

"Lightning Style: Thunder Surge!"

A blinding current raced down the threads, cascading over Simu's body.

Crackling.

Hissing.

Lightning engulfed him completely.

This was the kind of coordination that only years of teamwork could create.

No matter how monstrous his body was

No one could survive this.

Seeing the opportunity, Fuguki Suikazan jumped high into the air, ready to strike.

Every muscle in his body tensed, surging with power.

He swung his bandage-wrapped Samehada with full force, bringing it down on Simu with devastating strength!
