David (9)

David stared at the stove in front of him with a frown as he thought hard about how the unfamiliar stove worked. His gaze fell on the fish he had brought from Rick earlier before he finally put away the spatula in his hand with a feeling of resignation.

Even though Anna had said that he didn't need to bother cooking anything and asked him just to sit down while waiting for Anna to clean herself, David still couldn't let his pride be tarnished by letting Anna cook the fish that should have been cooked by him as a sign of gratitude for the woman. David had never been near a kitchen in his entire life because of his family background. But David believed that with strong determination, the man would be able to complete such a simple task without needing Anna's help.
