In the chaos, she stumbles into a hidden glade, where she encounters Kaelith, who is equally lost amidst the battle.

Initially, the two women view each other as enemies, their instincts driving them to fight. However, as they clash, they realize they are equally matched. In a moment of unexpected vulnerability, they draw back, sensing the deep weariness that accompanies their endless war.

Embers of the heart

With the establishment of the Council of Unity—a governing body comprised of both Celestial and Abyssian representatives—Lyra and Kaelith worked tirelessly to address the challenges their people faced. They held meetings, listened to grievances, and forged policies aimed at ensuring equality and cooperation between the two realms.

One day, during a council meeting, a young Celestial woman raised her hand, her voice trembling with emotion. "What if we created a program where young people from both sides could live with each other for a time? They could learn about each other's cultures, share their stories, and see that we are not so different after all."

The council chamber buzzed with excitement at the idea. "A cultural exchange program!" Kaelith exclaimed. "That's brilliant! It will foster understanding and break down the barriers that divide us."
