Chapter 298: The Crybaby on the Plane

Upon hearing this, the little guy shook his head.

It seemed like he understood, but also like he didn't.

After a few games, Wang Zhong helped them get the things out of the back, and carried another big bag, looking over at Ji Pianran's face.

He wanted to call Mrs Gu, but that felt too formal. How about calling her sister-in-law? Gu Chen was younger than he was.

After hesitating for a long time, he didn't call her anything.

His tone was sincere, 'This is all food. The main reason is that you went back so suddenly, so there was nothing to prepare. Don't be disgusted by these things.'

Ji Pianran looked at the bag full of food and felt a little embarrassed.

'You've sold too much.'

Wang Zhong smiled and glanced at the obediently behaving Tantan. 'These are some imported snacks that I, as an uncle, bought for our little Tantan. They're not worth much.'

Hearing that they were bought for her, Tantan's eyebrows curved with a smile.

'Thank you, Uncle Zhong!'

After saying that, she reached out for Wang Zhong to hug her.

Wang Zhong looked at the little one's cute appearance and reached out to hug her in his arms.

Tang Tang held out her small hand, wrapped it around Wang Zhong's neck, and then gave him a kiss on the cheek.

'Uncle, Tang Tang will miss you,' the little girl's baby voice made Wang Zhong's heart melt.

My goodness, this girl is so cute.

Gu always knows just the right thing to say!

If only I had such a cute child.

He reached up and ran his hand through Tang Tang's hair.

'Be a good girl, uncle will miss you too. There's a Rubik's Cube in this bag, I bought it especially for you. Play with it when you get on the plane.'

Gu Chen smiled at Wang Zhong when she heard that he had bought a Rubik's Cube for the child.

'Why are you being so polite? We're family.'

He hadn't even paid Wang Zhong yet, and he had already treated him to dinner, bought snacks and gifts for the child. He was really a bit embarrassed.

Wang Zhong smiled when he heard this.

'We're all family now, so don't be polite with me, General Gu. These are all for the kids. There's nothing I can do about it, because our Tiang Tiang is so cute.'

After he said that, he couldn't help but stroke Tiang Tiang's little head.

Gu Chen looked at his watch and said, 'Okay, it's getting late, you can go back, we'll go in and wait for the plane.'

Upon hearing this, Wang Zhong reluctantly put Tiang Tiang on the ground.

He looked at Gu Chen's face.

'Okay, take your time, let me know when you arrive, and keep in touch.'

Gu Chen nodded, and led Ji Pianran and Tang Tang towards the departure lounge.

After passing through security, the three of them wandered around the airport for a while, before boarding the plane when the time came.

Tang Tang had never flown before, and was simply curious about the plane. She sat on the window and kept looking out, not showing the slightest sign of fear, until the plane started taking off and the flight attendant reminded her to close the sun visor.

She reluctantly asked Ji Pianran to turn off the sun visor.

Coincidentally, the seat next to them happened to be occupied by a single mother with a young boy who was a little older than Tang Tang.

But he was probably only three and a half years old.

It was probably the air pressure that made him feel uncomfortable, and he started crying as soon as the plane took off, causing his mother to look embarrassed.

Tang Tang sat on Ji Bianran's lap, head down, eating the snacks Wang Zhong had bought her seriously. From time to time, she looked reassuringly at the little boy.

Seeing that he kept crying, the little girl felt a little sorry for him.

After a while, she took Ji Bianran's hand and whispered, 'Mom, is that brother sick?'

Ji Bianran glanced over there. The little boy was in tears, his tears falling like beans.

She leaned down and replied softly, 'I don't think he's feeling very well.'

Hearing that he wasn't feeling well, Tang Tang hesitated for a moment and looked at the snacks in her hand. "Mom, why don't you give him these? They're delicious.'

These were her favourite banana pastries, and she was sure the little boy would like them!

She didn't expect her daughter to be so generous, and Gu Chen couldn't help but tease her, "But what if the little boy's illness requires all of your snacks to be cured?'

Upon hearing this, Tang Tang's dark eyes instantly widened. All the snacks?

She looked down at her snack bag and then at the boy's face.

She was at a loss.

She hadn't even had time to eat all the delicious snacks herself, and she didn't want to give them up.

But if she didn't, the little boy would have to keep crying, and that would be hard for him.

She pursed her lips, hesitated for a long time, and then looked wistfully over to the other child.

'Brother, don't cry, I'll give you all these,'

the little girl said, and then she tried to hand over her snacks.

Don't be fooled by her generosity, she actually felt a pang of reluctance in her heart.

She was about to burst into tears.

Hearing that Tangtang wanted to give him her snacks, which were still in a big bag, the little boy was so surprised that he forgot to cry.

He looked at Tangtang in disbelief, 'All of it, all for me?'

Tangtang nodded, 'Yes, Mum said you only cry when you're sick. These were bought for me by Uncle Zhong. They're delicious, I hope you'll get better after eating them.'

After saying this, she wanted to hug her bag of precious snacks.

Seeing this, the boy's mother felt so embarrassed.

Her own child cried so easily, so how could she feel comfortable asking for other people's food?

She hurriedly said, 'Thank you, little friend, you eat it yourself. If my brother has affected you, I apologise.'

As she spoke, she envied Ji Pianran.

They were both women, and look at the child she had given birth to, so pretty, with fair skin and big eyes, like a little princess.

Then look at her own bald boy.

He's dark and skinny, and he cries all the time.

It's really frustrating to compare people. After she finished, she tugged on her child a little.

'Stop crying, look at your little sister! And look at you!'

The little boy stopped crying, but when he heard his mother scold him, he felt aggrieved for no reason, and cried out again with a 'wow'.

This cry was full of energy, and now everyone on the plane was impatient.

'Whose child is this, is it ever going to stop!'

'He's been crying since we boarded!'

'Yes, he's keeping everyone awake!'

Everyone started complaining.

The boy's mother became even more anxious.

She reached out and pulled her son hard, 'Stop crying, stop crying!'

The louder she shouted, the louder the boy cried.

The complaints from the passengers around them also started to grow louder.

'How can you be a mother? Do you know how to take care of a child?'

'Yes, the child is crying like that, but she can't calm him down. I really don't know how to be a mother!'

The woman was extremely aggrieved and really didn't know what to do.

Her face was red with anger, and she was about to burst into tears.

Seeing this scene, the little adult Tang Tang couldn't help but worry again.

She climbed off Ji Bianran's lap and onto Gu Chen's lap, looked at the single mother next to them, and said in a baby voice, 'Auntie, let me help you calm down the little brother.'
