When Klein returned to the house, he found Siona already there, along with another woman, sitting on the couch, sipping fragrant tea.
The woman was tall, with fair skin and brunette hair. Her pointy ears suggested elven heritage, though she might also be a dryad or another race with such features. She bore no wings to mark her as a fairy, and her scent was close enough to that of an elf, as far as he could tell.
She took a slow sip, sparing him a glance as he sniffed the air. A neat, light-blue traditional robe draped over her, concealing most of her figure, while her curly hair cascaded over her shoulders.
Klein first thought her to be Siona's queen mother, but there was little resemblance beyond their elven beauty.
She offered no greeting, so Klein turned towards Siona. The princess stood stalwart, arms crossed below her chest, her expression betraying no emotion to indicate whether she was under stress or if this woman might prove troublesome.
