The bell rang, signaling the end of the hour. Students emerged from the history class, still engrossed in the revelations they had just heard. We learned many fascinating things, but the ancient frescoes held a hidden story, one that Barrios or my mother surely knew. But then, why keep all this in the shadows? Why not share this truth with the world?

"Want to grab lunch?" Yoko asked, her voice full of enthusiasm.

"Yeah, let's go. I didn't have breakfast this morning," Kaiser replied, clearly eager.

"Great, let's go," said Yoko, standing up with a radiant smile.

I then noticed, in a fleeting moment, that Melios and Erina had disappeared. I didn't need to look long to understand that Erina never ate in the cafeteria like everyone else. Perhaps she feared poisoning, even if unintentional, from the servers. She always seemed to avoid any risk.
