While the kingdom of Zyriel was steeped in doubt, reluctant to use the artifact, Areyos's companions, hidden in their grotto transformed into a secret base, began to question Areyos's decisions. Yet, he seemed to perfectly master what he was doing.
"We're listening, Areyos. Why do you think it's an advantage that they have the artifact?" asked Sola, hesitant, her soft voice echoing in the confined space of the grotte.
Areyos took a moment to answer, his companions' eyes fixed on him, waiting impatiently for his response.
"First, Yoko, what advantage would the artifact give us that we don't already have?" he began, settling onto a wooden chair.
"Well... we could accelerate time until the last day, and maybe Zyriel's army wouldn't be well-prepared, giving us losses or weaknesses to exploit," she responded, her tone betraying a glimmer of hope.
