WESLEY stepped into his office, his eyes scanning the room as he made his way to his assistant's desk. "Cross, I need you to clear my schedule for the month," he said, his voice firm and commanding.
Cross looked up from his computer, his eyebrows raised in surprise. "Sir? But you have several important meetings and conferences lined up. Are you sure you want to cancel them all?"
Wesley nodded, his expression unyielding. "Yes, I'm sure. Something's come up, and I need to focus on it. Make sure to notify everyone involved and reschedule for a later date."
Cross nodded, his fingers flying across the keyboard as he began to make the necessary arrangements. "Will do, sir. Anything else?"
Wesley hesitated, his mind already elsewhere. "No, that's all for now. I'll be heading home soon. Just make sure everything runs smoothly while I'm away."
With that, Wesley turned and walked out of the office, leaving Cross to wonder what was going on.
