CHAPTER 101: Into the abyss

The cold hit Liang Wei like a wall. The moment he stepped into the Heart of the Abyss, the temperature dropped, and the air grew dense and suffocating. It felt as though the very shadows themselves were pressing against his skin, trying to pull him deeper into their embrace. He shivered but kept his footing firm, his eyes narrowing as he peered into the swirling darkness around him.

The Abyss was vast, its swirling blackness stretching out in all directions like a never-ending void. Yet, despite its apparent emptiness, Wei could feel the presence of countless souls lingering just beyond his sight. Faint whispers floated through the air, a low chorus of voices—some pleading, others mocking—each one a reminder of the countless lives the Abyss had claimed.
