Chapter 93: The Fight for the Future

The room erupted into chaos as Solas lunged at Nyla, his knife flashing in the dim light. Nyla blocked his strike with her weapon, their movements fast and brutal. Solas was stronger than she anticipated, each of his attacks forcing her to defend with every ounce of strength she had.

"You can't stop me," Solas snarled, slashing at her with relentless precision. "I've built something too powerful for you to tear down!"

Nyla gritted her teeth, parrying his attacks. "You've built a world on fear and destruction. It was never yours to keep!"

Meanwhile, Zane worked furiously at the terminal, bypassing the final security layers in Solas's system. The rest of the team held off the guards who had flooded into the room, the sounds of gunfire and shouts filling the air. They were running out of time—if Solas wasn't stopped now, his army would crush the resistance outside.

Nyla fought with everything she had, dodging a vicious strike from Solas and countering with a swift blow that knocked him back. He stumbled, momentarily disoriented, and Nyla seized the opportunity. With a quick movement, she disarmed him, sending his knife clattering to the floor.

"You've lost," Nyla said, her voice steady as she leveled her weapon at him once more.

But Solas, ever defiant, simply laughed. "Do you really think this ends with me? There will always be people like me. You'll never have the power to control the world."

Nyla's eyes narrowed. "We don't want to control it. We want to set it free."

And with that, she pulled the trigger.
