67. Healing a human!!

Reko replied to Teiro, flexing his lean build muscles in an exaggerated manner, eliciting a laugh from everyone except for Teiro.

...

"Do not tease him Reko. He is going to be your superior!"

Shizune berated Reko with a stern face in front of everyone.

"He is always like that. It's true, I would be tutoring them at times, but I would be counting on you guys for most of their training."

Shizune turned to face Teiro, apologetic as she explained how Reko is always so boastful and confident. Though, she confirmed that she would indeed be tutoring them at times.

"As for him keeping up with everyone, it's overbearing but true. He can use shadow clones to keep up with all of you, increasing his speed of learning."

Shizune hinted the three doctors about Reko's overbearing performance, not letting them think that he was just a boastful youngster.

"Feel free to complain if he troubles you though!!"

Shizune looked at Reko with side eyes as she suggested the doctors to not be mindful of Reko's status. They could complain if a problem ever arises.

Reko shrugged, not at all. minding Shizune's words. He was happy that Shizune had explained his abilities so positively, giving him an image of a prodigy.

Sakura on the side smiled listening to the conversation. She had been aware of Reko increasing his learning speed with shadow clone and she could only work even harder to keep up with him.

Deep down, she had a desire to beat Reko in terms of medical ninjutsu because she was still able to keep up with Reko. Her increased chakra control had a positive effect on her chakra reserve and its regeneration speed.

Unaware, that most of Reko's shadow clone were busy learning the book's content and Earth release in the past week.

"Not at all. I just hope he can get used to the life here, hehe."

Teiro smiled, respecting Shizune's words. He was aware that Shizune was not the one who would boast. So, it would be his rightful duty to train Reko well and hard.

'This look!! He is going to be really strict, but that's what Reko would prefer anyway.'

'They would be occupied for a week, at least.'

Shizune glanced at Teiro, his smile was the one she had seen before. She realized that Reko was going to have one hell of a training week.

"You guys take it from here. I need to report to the hokage."

Shizune left promptly. She had to visit Tsunade and assist her in the office with documents.

...

In the meeting room,

After Shizune left, the doctors decided that Yahiko and Momo would have Sakura under them while Teiro would be working with Reko.

However, this was their arrangements. Reko decided to make a shadow clone and sent it with the couple and Sakura while his main body went with Teiro.

"Let's begin."

Reko left the carry bag on the table. He had been carrying it from home. Books, scroll, and his other items inside it.

'I would have liked to summon more clones, but let's just make one to tag with Sakura.'

Reko did not wish to stretch his chakra thin. So, he had made his shadow clone with two-third of his total chakra.

As they parted ways, Teiro entered a cabin with Reko. A man, likely a civilian, entered the cabin with a bleeding hand.

"This is the patient, prepare a diagnostic report as you treat him."

Teiro pointed the man towards Reko, hinting to the man to sit across Reko for examination.

'He is leaving it all to me? It's not that difficult. Looks like a cut, not infected.'

Reko had thought that Teiro would have him assist in the situations but he made Reko do the full treatment instead. Luckily, the injury was only flesh level.

As Reko listened to the patient, he figured out the cut injury was from a tool at home. He instantly wrote a report and handed it to Teiro for examination.

"Ohh? You have got it all correct."

Teiro read the report and nodded. He had seen how Reko asked the important questions and how he diagnosed the patient.

He nodded for Reko to proceed with the treatment.

"Begin with the treatment, I will take the next patient."

Teiro instructed as he pinged for the next patient to come in the cabin. His attention was still on Reko, making sure that Reko did not make a mistake.

"Mystic palm!!"

A green glow envelopes Reko's palm as he placed it near the patient's forearm. The healing glow accelerated the process of cell and tissue regeneration.

'Nothing difficult. It's just flesh! I have done many times on the fish.'

Reko cautiously started the healing. He was confident about his skill since he had been practicing on fish. Fishes were smaller and more sensitive.

"Done. Take care Sir."

Reko informed the patient, the cut on the hand was fully healed. With Reko's ninjutsu level, it was easy to accomplish.

'He is got good chakra control. He will be able to form chakra scalpel easily at this level.'

Teiro looked at Reko completing the treatment without breaking a sweat. It seemed easy for Reko to work on human.

...

In another cabinet,

Sakura being trained on the other side was not made to operate alone on the first patient.

Momo talked with the patient and diagnosed him before instructing him to go to Yahiko.

"It's just a cut. Sakura, I am counting on you."

"Yes sir!"

Yahiko, together with Sakura, healed the patient as he guided Sakura.

Reko's shadow clone waited with Momo, watching Sakura operate on a human for the first time.

While at it, Momo pinged for the next patient. So, she could have Reko begin with the training too.

Just like that, another patient entered. Similarly, he also had fresh injury. The department of all three doctors was an emergency one as most of the patients had serious injuries.

Momo guided Reko, not using her chakra at all and made Reko heal the pierced muscles of the patient. Though unlike Teiro, she kept pointing out the do's and don't.
