Isabel POV

The explosion left my ears ringing, the world reduced to a haze of smoke and chaos. The safe house groaned around us, wreckages raining down as the walls buckled under the force.

"Miguel!" I screamed, coughing through the thick dust.

His hand found mine, pulling me to my feet. His grip was firm, a lifeline in the chaos.

"Run," he said, his voice steady despite the madness. He polled me through the opening.

I didn't argue. We sprinted toward the back exit, dodging falling beams and navigating the collapsing structure.

The safe house was a death trap now, every second spent inside another step closer to the end. The attackers weren't letting up, their movements precise and unrelenting.

"Go left!" I shouted to Isabel, pushing her ahead as another explosion rocked the building.

She hesitated, glancing back at me. "What about the others?"
