Isabella Martini - POV
The next few days were hectic, and I rarely saw Arlo or Jacob. The preparations for the war were going on, and there were a lot of warriors in our pack right now. Even the venatores had called in their own people, and right now, the pack house was teeming with men.
The trackers that Arlo sent yesterday came back and informed us that the rogues didn't seem like they were going to change their plans, so right now, our plan was also in motion.
In all this chaos, I barely saw Sophia, but when I did, I realized that something was different. The relationship between the siblings looked a little strained, and Sophia had been avoiding me as well. I walked towards the glass wall and stood there as I looked out at the lush green trees.
The weather was gloomy today, but it felt nice as I stared out at the serene nature. I don't know what will happen tomorrow, we may win this war, or we might just lose, and that is what scares me the most.
