Chapter 158

Isabella Martini - POV

We have been on the road for five hours now, and my legs are starting to get numb from the lack of movement. I looked out through the window to see that we had entered a village. Since it was a Sunday today, the streets were bustling with people.

"Can we stop here and have something to eat?" I asked Gael, and he nodded his head. We passed by a lot of restaurants when we finally stopped in front of a small Mexican restaurant. A nostalgic smile formed on my face as I got out of the car. 

Lorena loved Mexican food, and we would always go out to have that while I would sit and complain. But after her death, I stopped going to that restaurant. 

I felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen, which made me stop as I held my stomach. "Are you all right, Bella?" Gael asked me, and I nodded my head.
