Chapter 160

Isabella Martini - POV

"Bella," I felt someone shake my shoulder when I opened my eyes. The room I slept in was bright as I sat up on the sofa. "I fixed it," Gael said with glee as I looked at him from head to toe. He was covered in dirt, grease, and debris making me scrunch my nose.

"You fixed it?" I asked him with a dubious look, and he nodded his head.

"I used to do this when I was small, but I had to give that all up after I began Alpha," he answered, and I couldn't say anything as I got up from the sofa and looked around the room. It was not the sunlight that had illuminated this place, instead, it was the many light bulbs that were on the chandelier.

This was a bedroom, and I had fallen asleep on the sofa that was in front of the bed. There was a French door next to the bed, and I saw that it was still dark outside. "It's four am," Gael answered my unspoken question.
