Isabella Martini - POV
"You guys should have stayed here for at least a few more days," Audrey whined with a pout on her face.
"We have stayed here more than required, Audrey. But you should definitely come back to our pack when the baby is born." Arlo told her, and she nodded her head. Audrey turned around to face me, and without a word, she pulled me into a hug.
"You will be a great mother," she whispered in my ear as she pulled back when my eyes clouded with tears and a nostalgic smile formed on my face.
"Do visit us," I mumbled, and she nodded her head when I bent down to look at Amber. For the past two months that Arlo has been here, Amber has gotten a little too attached to her uncle, and now it looks like both are having a hard time saying goodbye. Even though Arlo had a blank look on his face, I could feel the yearning he was experiencing through our bond.
