Marvel 134

Matt exhaled, and suddenly—

The entire world stopped.

Antares froze mid-air.

The other Monarchs, watching from the remains of the battlefield, couldn't move.

Even the cracks in space itself ceased to spread.

Everything—from energy to time—had come to an absolute halt.

Except for Matt.

He lifted his golden sword, and for the first time, his true power ignited.

A golden aura of infinite possibilities wrapped around him. His body became translucent, filled with unstable, chaotic energy—the very essence of existence before reality was formed.

His voice echoed across time itself.

"Chronos Severing Time—Final Phase."

Matt vanished.

The next moment—

SLASH!

A golden cut appeared across Antares' massive dragon body.

BOOM!

Antares screamed in pain, but before he could react—

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

Cuts appeared all over his body—his wings, his limbs, his very essence was being severed from existence.

The Monarchs watched in horror.

Tarnak's mouth went dry. "Wh-What is this…?"

Even Yogumunt, the wisest among them, looked shaken. "He's… beyond a Monarch. This power is something else entirely!"

Antares, wounded but still defiant, let out one final roar.

"If I'm dying—THEN I'M TAKING YOU WITH ME!"

His entire body ignited, turning into a living bomb of destruction.

But Matt simply raised his hand.

Golden chains erupted from the void, wrapping around Antares.

Time reversed.

Antares froze, his body shrinking back, his wounds undoing themselves.

The destruction he unleashed rewound back into his core, sealing itself away.

Matt stood before him, completely unharmed.

"It's over," Matt said softly.

With a single tap of his finger, time collapsed around Antares.

The Monarch of Destruction vanished—not killed, but removed from time itself.

A great silence fell upon the battlefield.

The remaining Monarchs, watching in disbelief, fell to their knees.

Matt exhaled, looking down at his hand.

"Guess I win."

Matt now held Antares' heart in his hand—the core of destruction itself.

The only thing he needed to steal the Monarch of Destruction's power.

Black fog seeped from Matt's palm, engulfing the pulsating heart, devouring it completely.

As the power merged into his being, Matt felt his strength rise exponentially—an overwhelming surge of destruction and chaos filling every fiber of his existence.

A system notification appeared.

[Host has reached the Absolute Peak of Monarch Level.]

Matt smirked. "Great."

Tarnak and Yogumunt stared at Matt, their bodies frozen in disbelief. They had just witnessed the impossible.

"His power just increased after devouring Antares?" Tarnak muttered, his voice shaking.

Silad, now fully loyal to Matt, nodded. "Yes. He defeated Antares."

Tarnak slumped back into his chair, his hands trembling. "So… we either submit, or we die?"

Silad and Qursha nodded.

Tarnak sighed deeply before letting out a hollow laugh. "I suppose submitting to a stronger being is natural."

Yogumunt stroked his beard, his expression calm—but if one looked closely, they could see pure fear in his eyes.

Matt arrived at Antares' throne and casually sat down. He leaned back, adjusting himself before muttering, "Feels less comfortable than I thought it would."

Yogumunt, seeing this, raised his finger, conjuring a dark moss-like cushion over the stone seat.

"Now that's better," Matt said, smirking as he looked down at the remaining Monarchs.

"So, what have you two decided?" he asked.

Tarnak and Yogumunt exchanged glances before kneeling before him.

"Good," Matt said, activating Beast Evolution on the two.

Their bodies trembled violently, black and golden energy surging through them, rewriting their very being. Their old forms cracked apart, and after a moment, their evolution was complete.

As the cocoons shattered, a transformed Tarnak and Yogumunt emerged.

Tarnak flexed his arms, feeling the raw power coursing through him. His muscular body had grown even more massive, his skin now layered with an unbreakable metallic sheen.

"This is truly powerful," Tarnak said, clenching his fists, feeling his strength had increased by two or more ranks.

Yogumunt, now surrounded by deep, ominous magic, tested his newfound energy. His dark spells felt sharper, more potent than ever before.

He smirked, his voice filled with newfound confidence. "Yes… this is much better."

Matt sat comfortably on Antares' throne, observing the newly evolved Tarnak and Yogumunt.

Both Monarchs radiated newfound power—Tarnak's iron-like body was denser and stronger than ever, his presence now commanding absolute physical dominance. Meanwhile, Yogumunt's dark magic pulsed ominously, his mastery over transfiguration now reaching an even greater level.

Matt smirked. "Looks like evolution suited you two."

Tarnak flexed his arms, testing his increased strength. "I feel… unstoppable." His voice carried pure confidence, unlike before when he had been hesitant about submitting.

Yogumunt stroked his beard, his eyes gleaming with hidden knowledge. "This is beyond anything I've ever imagined. Even the old Absolute Being never granted us such direct power growth."

Silad, the Frost Monarch, nodded. "That is the difference between following the Absolute Being and following the Ruler of Time."

Tarnak chuckled, his massive frame shaking the ground slightly. "Hah! And to think I laughed at you two for submitting to him."

Matt waved his hand lazily. "Well, you're all mine now, so let's not waste time reminiscing. It's time to establish a new order."

The Monarchs knelt before him, one after another.

"We serve you, Ruler of Time."

A notification flashed before Matt's eyes.

[Host has successfully subjugated the remaining Monarchs.]

[A new faction has been created: The Timeless Dominion.]

Matt grinned. "Good. Now…" he stood up from Antares' throne, stretching his arms.

"We have a war to win."

Far beyond mortal perception, in a vast golden city that existed beyond space and time, the Rulers sat upon their divine thrones, their celestial bodies radiating pure light and power.

One of them, the Ruler of Brilliance, narrowed his radiant eyes.

"Something has changed… The Monarchs are no longer our greatest threat."

Another Ruler clenched his fists. "No… something far worse has been born."

The strongest of them, the Brightest Fragment of Luminosity, slowly stood up. His divine energy pulsed like a sun, and his voice carried a warning that shook the entire realm.

"The Ruler of Time… has risen."
