I just want to be useful...

It all begins in a society far more advanced than ours. With flying cars and strange devices being an everyday occurrence. This world isn't just home to humans, but also a race of humans called a Muman. These beings inherited strange abilities from a mysterious meteorite that crashed on earth a millenia ago, they call it, the Godmaker

The humans and mumans fought, of course as the mumans saw themselves as higher beings meant to replace humans and humans saw mumans as a threat to humanity that needed to be eradicated.

The war aged with either side on the brink of victory and by using the Godmaker as a power source for new and more dangerous technology, the humans were able to hold their own against their genetically advanced superiors for years. Just when the war reached a pivotal moment, something arrived 

A new enemy

They where called The Shadowclan. A race of terrifying godlike beings covered in pure darkness capable of bending the forces of evil to their will.
Humans and mumans had only one choice, they needed to work together and that they did. By combining their efforts they managed to form a team capable of defeating the Shadowclan. This team was known as the First 4 ...but they didn't win not completely.

20 years later young Jake Scott is given the chance to become one after performing a heroic deed. However hes about to get way more than he bargained for ...

Danger Squad Legends: The Shadow

It all starts 30 years ago, when the first Muman appears.

After a mysterious object crashes onto the the earth, it disappears, leaving behind an invisible gaseous substance called E toxin.

While most hunans have an immunity to it's effects,when its breathed in, this toxin mm utates the human body in certain ways. There is usually a percentage range as to how much a person can be mutated.

Usually people fall below 20 percent, gaining mild boosts in physical attributes like strength and speed.

On rare cases, they go above 20 up to 50 percent. These people manifest strange abilities that defy logic and are impossible to study. These people are called Mumans. But they are so rare that they are only found out of every 1,000,000 people worldwide.

As for those that go beyond 50 percent, their body mutates and they become horrible amalgamations of flesh and any other materials. These people, as they were once called, are now Monsters.

However these cases are so few and far in between they are nearly non existent.

As these mumans started appearing more and more, the Commonwealth places a nationwide hunt for them because their power could upset the balance of power across the world.

The mumans fought back however, and formed their own community called the Strange Society and moved to a formerly uninhabited island which hasn't been found to this day.

They waged war with mankind and started the great event known only as World war 4.

Despite their small numbers, the mumans were on equal footing with humans. The war went on for 10 years until something strange happened.

A warship, filled with planet conquering aliens known as the Shadowclan appeared and intended to conquer the world. Humanity and Mumanity stood little to no chance against them.

That is until a small group of humans and mumans came together and formed the Super Society. With their combined efforts, they defeated the Shadowclan. Eradicating them from earth.

These supers, as they were affectionately called, set an example for the world. Soon the whole world began to realise humans and mumans could coexist in peace. Therefore World War 4 came to a close.

Now supers live on Super island and through permission from the government, they could oversee events of the world and protect it from various threats. However, they could only interfere with Commonwealth affairs. What of nations that didn't sign an agreement to join the Commonwealth?
