Chapter 123 Kakashi And Jiraiya Were Stunned And Broke Into The Akatsuki Organization

Konoha

Third Training Ground

"Summoning Technique..."

Jiraiya bit his finger, quickly formed the seals, pressed his hand against the ground with a serious expression, and muttered under his breath.

With a bang, a small, palm-sized toad appeared in a puff of smoke.

Jiraiya's Shadow Clone immediately stepped forward, using the Toad Virtue technique. To Kakashi's astonishment, the Shadow Clone strangely entered the little toad's mouth, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

"Kakashi, it's time to begin!"

Jiraiya's real body looked at the little toad with satisfaction and urged Kakashi.

"Kamui..."

Without hesitation, Kakashi's left eye morphed into the Mangekyō Sharingan. He locked his gaze on the little toad, activating his pupil technique with a shout.

The space around the little toad distorted, forming a powerful pulling force that quickly absorbed the toad into the dimensional void.

"All done. Now, we wait," Jiraiya said, leaning lazily against a nearby training post, clearly relaxed.

Rain Country

A cave near the Rain Shinobi Village

All the current members of the Akatsuki organization had gathered, a rare occurrence.

Leader: Pain (Nagato), known as Zero Burial.

Second-in-command: Konan, codenamed White Tiger.

Members:

Uchiha Itachi, Vermilion Bird.

Kisame Hoshigaki, Southern Star.

Sasori, Jade Maiden.

Deidara, Azure Dragon.

Kakuzu, Northern Star.

Hidan, Three.

Zetsu (Black and White), Xuanwu.

Obito (under the guise of Madara), codenamed Void.

Obito, seeking to utilize Akatsuki's power to deal with Kakashi, had joined earlier than expected. However, he had not yet acquired the ring that once belonged to Orochimaru.

"Everyone, according to the latest intel, Konoha's Nine Tails Jinchūriki, Uzumaki Naruto, has tamed the Nine Tails and can now fully wield its power.

To prevent him from becoming a future threat, we will recover the Nine Tails immediately," Pain announced, his cold Rinnegan gaze sweeping over the room.

He continued:

"Vermilion Bird, Southern Star, Jade Maiden, Azure Dragon, Northern Star, and Three—you will form a team to retrieve the Nine Tails.

Xuanwu, you will handle intelligence and provide updates on the Nine Tails' movements.

Void, your role is to assist with injuries as needed."

Pain's tone was commanding, his words resonating with an air of unquestionable authority.

Itachi's Perspective

'Did Kisame leak the information? Or was it discovered some other way?'

Itachi's expression remained calm, but his Sharingan flickered with determination. When he had returned from the previous mission, he had only reported that their attempt to capture Naruto had failed—he'd said nothing about Naruto's newfound control over the Nine Tails. Yet, the Akatsuki had still learned of it.

Kamui Space

In the alternate dimension of Kamui, space twisted, and a small toad appeared unharmed. It surveyed its surroundings briefly before opening its mouth, from which Jiraiya's Shadow Clone emerged.

The toad disappeared with a poof shortly after completing its task.

"So, this is an alternate space where one can survive..."

Jiraiya's Shadow Clone surveyed the strange Kamui realm, observing the stone pillars, platforms, and slabs.

As he prepared to explore further, the space distorted again. A figure materialized—a masked man with a single Sharingan glowing ominously.

"You made it here faster than I expected," Obito sneered, his Sharingan filled with bloodthirsty intent as he locked eyes with Jiraiya's Shadow Clone.

"Let's see how far you can go!" Obito's voice was cold, murderous intent emanating from every word.

Knowing that Kamui space is directly linked to Kakashi's Mangekyō Sharingan, Obito had been keeping a close watch on its movements for the past two days, wary of being caught off guard.

As soon as Kakashi opened Kamui space, Obito reacted swiftly.

"So this space is your secret—how you evade attacks!

In that case, if you're attacked in both dimensions simultaneously, your jutsu will be broken," Jiraiya said, smirking at the masked man before him. He adopted a confident posture, radiating satisfaction.

"Unfortunately for you, you won't be leaving here alive!"

Obito's eyes narrowed, his Sharingan gleaming with ferocity. He raised his hand and launched an attack at Jiraiya, his voice cold and menacing.

'If this information gets out, Kakashi and I could be in real danger during a future fight,' Obito thought grimly.

"Eh... You were fooled. I lied to you," Jiraiya said with a mischievous laugh. Before Obito could react, Jiraiya's figure dispersed into white smoke.

"A Shadow Clone!" Obito growled, realizing he'd been tricked. His frustration boiled over as he clenched his fists. "No, I can't let this drag on. I'll finish this now!"

Without wasting another moment, Obito activated his right eye, disappearing into Kamui space.

Konoha

Third Training Ground

Back at the training ground, Jiraiya leaned lazily against a wooden stake. His expression suddenly shifted, and he turned to Kakashi with a knowing glint in his eyes.

"Kakashi, your theory was spot on. Kamui space is indeed a separate dimension where he can remain safe.

If we attack him in both dimensions at once, he won't be able to..."

Before Jiraiya could finish, two hands emerged out of thin air, grabbing both him and Kakashi. A powerful pulling force dragged them away before they could react.

Obito, unleashing the full power of his Sharingan, had activated Kamui at an unprecedented speed.

Kakashi's vision blurred as he was transported to a strange, dimly lit space. Before he could get his bearings, his surroundings shifted once more, and he found himself in a dark cave.

Beside him, the white-haired Sage, Jiraiya, stood equally disoriented.

"This must be Obito's Kamui ability," Kakashi muttered, steadying himself.

Obito had marked Kakashi during their previous battle, allowing him to transport both Kakashi and Jiraiya from Kamui space to a second location.

Akatsuki Hideout

The two seasoned shinobi quickly regrouped, standing back-to-back as they assessed their surroundings. Before them stood the Akatsuki members, all visibly confused by the sudden turn of events.

"What's this guy doing now?!" Hidan muttered, baffled. "First, he disappears, and now he drags in two random guys?!"

Obito reappeared near the Akatsuki members and addressed them with a commanding voice.

"Everyone, these two are obstacles to capturing the Nine Tails. Eliminate them now and save us the trouble!"

The Akatsuki members exchanged skeptical glances.

'You're asking us to kill them? Why not just bring the Nine Tails here instead of complicating things?' one thought.

'This guy must have a few screws loose,' another grumbled internally.

Kakashi and Jiraiya

"So, you're with the Akatsuki," Jiraiya said, his eyes scanning the distinctive robes of the group. "As expected, you're targeting the tailed beasts. Kakashi, I think we've really stepped into it this time."

Jiraiya's tone was bitter, but Kakashi remained silent, his gaze locked onto Obito. His expression was a mix of anticipation, apprehension, and doubt.

Something about Obito seemed familiar, yet unfamiliar. During their previous encounter, Obito had worn a black and blue robe. Now, standing among the Akatsuki, his outfit seemed makeshift, likely due to his sudden induction into the group.

"Wait..." Jiraiya's voice trailed off as his eyes widened in shock. His gaze shifted to two figures standing behind the crowd, their unique eyes unmistakable.

"Those eyes..." he murmured, his voice trembling. His pupils shrank as realization dawned on him, and disbelief washed over his face.
