Chapter 151 Domineering Sako, Temari Is Here

Konoha

After a series of meetings and deliberations, Konoha's new leadership was formally established.

Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Kakashi were appointed to form the Hokage Advisory Group, tasked with assisting Sako in her duties as Hokage.

Uchiha Fugaku took over as the captain of the Anbu, leading a team composed of former Root members and Uchiha elites. Additionally, the Uchiha clan gained control of several key departments in the village.

However, unlike Koharu and Mito Menma, who were notorious for meddling in Hokage affairs, Jiraiya and Tsunade were entirely different. Both of them were known for their dislike of bureaucracy and only attended meetings to maintain appearances, rarely involving themselves in day-to-day operations.

As a result, the daily administrative work primarily fell on Kakashi and the Jōnin squad leader, Shikaku Nara.

The Next Day – Hokage Office

"Hokage-sama, the details of the Hyuga Clan's reform are all here. From now on, Hyuga Neji will serve as the head of our clan," Hyuga Hiashi announced, standing with Neji and Iroha before Sako and Kakashi.

To be honest, Hiashi himself felt a bit baffled. He had only recently discovered that Neji had been the mastermind behind the Hyuga Clan's transformation.

But none of that mattered now.

"I see... This is an internal matter of the Hyuga Clan. You can make the final decision," Sako replied, her sharp gaze fixed on Hyuga Neji.

She couldn't help but admire him. To think that Neji had managed to reform a system that had existed in the Hyuga Clan for thousands of years—it was remarkable.

"Thank you, Hokage-sama. We will strive to fulfill our duties," Neji replied confidently, stepping forward to meet her gaze.

At that moment, Jiraiya's teasing laughter echoed from the doorway.

"Looks like the new generation of Konoha is really stepping up," he said, entering the office with several other figures.

"Uchiha Sako???"

"Sand Shinobi ninja!"

Sako and Temari exclaimed in unison, clearly surprised to see one another.

"Ah, I forgot to mention," Jiraiya began, scratching his head, "Sako here is now Konoha's Fifth Hokage." Turning to Sako, he continued, "Fifth Hokage, these four are here on behalf of Sunagakure for peace talks."

"Fifth Hokage?!"

Temari, Gaara, and Kankuro were stunned, their eyes widening as they took in Sako standing before them, dressed in the Hokage robe.

Baki, the Sand Shinobi envoy, couldn't help but feel a mix of amazement and skepticism. Konoha had entrusted the position of Hokage to someone so young—it was truly remarkable! However, considering the presence of heavyweights like Jiraiya, Tsunade, Kakashi, Naruto, and the Uchiha clan, Baki realized Konoha's strength was far from diminished.

Still, having such a young Fifth Hokage was certainly an unusual choice.

"With that, we'll take our leave, Hokage-sama."

Hyuga Hiashi, ever the seasoned politician, quickly bid farewell. With Neji and Iroha in tow, he exited the office, leaving Sako to deal with the Sand Shinobi delegation.

The Sand Shinobi Delegation

"Since you're here for peace talks, what sincerity does Sand Shinobi bring to the table?" Kakashi asked calmly, standing beside Sako and addressing the four Sand Shinobi representatives.

"Lord Fifth Hokage…" Baki stepped forward, presenting a scroll with both hands. "Our Sand Shinobi is also a victim in this incident. Everything was part of Orochimaru's conspiracy. Even our Fourth Kazekage was killed and manipulated by him.

"In light of this, we propose re-signing the alliance treaty unconditionally as a gesture of goodwill."

His tone was serious, but the room fell silent as Jiraiya, Kakashi, and Shikaku exchanged skeptical glances. It wasn't lost on anyone that the claim about the Fourth Kazekage being manipulated seemed dubious.

"You must be joking," Sako said coldly, her scarlet Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan flaring to life. The intense chakra she emitted caused the Sand Shinobi delegation to stiffen.

Sako wasn't one to be trifled with, especially when it came to major political matters. This was her first significant act as Hokage, and she was determined to make her stance clear.

Gaara's Reaction

"What…? Gaara, did you sense that?" Shukaku's voice echoed in Gaara's mind, filled with curiosity. "That Hokage—she has traces of the Nine Tails' chakra!"

"Nine Tails' chakra?" Gaara's eyes narrowed as he looked at Sako in disbelief. Was the Nine Tails transferred to her?

Negotiations Continue

"Ahem… Regarding the terms of the treaty, we can continue to discuss them. What are Konoha's conditions?" Baki asked cautiously, trying to maintain his composure despite Sako's pressure.

Before Sako could respond, Shikaku stepped forward with a calm demeanor. "This matter concerns compensation for an entire village. It's not something we can decide on the spot. Please stay in Konoha for a few days while we deliberate."

Understanding his own inexperience, Sako deferred to Shikaku's wisdom and chose not to interject.

"Of course, we understand. Thank you for your hospitality," Baki replied smoothly, already planning how to use their stay to gather intelligence and gain leverage for the negotiations.

Meanwhile – Naruto's House

Naruto was at home, working on a project of his own. He had spent 50,000 Honkai Points to create replica Mangekyō Sharingan. Using advanced techniques, he crafted 15 left eyes with abilities similar to Obito's Kamui and 8 right eyes with the Kamui phasing technique.

Additionally, he spent 5,000 Honkai Points to remove the negative effects of these Mangekyō Sharingan.

Currently, he was installing these custom Mangekyō Sharingan for Tsunade and Shiro. The left eye offered a power similar to Izanagi, while the right eye granted Kamui phasing abilities.

"Tsunade, this ability allows you to convert unfavorable situations into illusions. It's perfect as a life-saving measure," Naruto explained as he finished.

Tsunade opened her eyes, marveling at the newfound power. "This… This Mangekyō Sharingan fits perfectly with my body. My pupil power recovers so quickly!"

Naruto smirked. "That's because of your Senju Sage Body. I almost forgot to account for that. As for the others, like Sakura and Shiro, I'll need to bestow the Sage Body on them so the Mangekyō doesn't burden them."

A Surprise Visit

Just as Naruto was about to continue his work, a knock on the door interrupted him. When he opened it, he was surprised to find Gaara and Temari standing there.

"Gaara? Temari? What are you doing here?" Naruto asked curiously.

Temari, typically confident, looked uncharacteristically shy, avoiding his gaze.

"Um… Naruto, I wanted to ask you for a favor," Gaara said hesitantly, clearly uncomfortable.

Naruto raised an eyebrow, smirking. "A favor? Alright, but judging by your tone, it sounds like you owe me something first…"

Gaara sighed and swallowed his pride. "Fine… I'll hand my sister over to you!" he blurted out before retreating quickly, leaving Temari behind.

Temari's face turned crimson as she looked around nervously.

Naruto grinned mischievously, taking her hand. "Well, let's not waste time. Come inside, and let's talk."

He led the flustered Temari into his home, excitement gleaming in his eyes.
