Chapter 179 Wholesale Nine Tails JinchūRiki, Evolution Gun

"Is it really that complicated? Third Generation Nine Tails? What's that? Isn't the Nine Tails already with you?"

When Shikamaru heard Naruto's words, his pupils shrank slightly, and he asked curiously.

The others wore similar expressions of confusion, except for Sakura, who knew about the Nine Tails. Most of them were unaware of the details.

"The Third Generation Nine Tails are essentially like the Three Tails. They are a split of the original Nine Tails.

They've already acknowledged me and won't erode your will. You can think of them as partners rather than threats. You don't have to worry about that," Naruto explained patiently, easing the group's concerns.

"I trust you, Naruto. If you've reached this level, we can only support you as comrades," Shikamaru said, giving Naruto a deep look. Despite his lingering fear of the tailed beasts, he gritted his teeth and nodded firmly.

"Then count me in too," Chōji added after seeing Shikamaru's resolve.

"We're a team—Ino–Shika–Chō. How can I let you two hog the spotlight? Naruto-kun, I'll do it too," Ino declared, pouting dramatically at her teammates while giving Naruto a playful, coquettish look.

Hinata and Sakura exchanged exasperated glances, barely holding back their irritation.

Before Sakura could say anything, Rock Lee jumped in, cutting off Ino's moment.

"Naruto, what kind of power will you give me? I'm really curious! What could possibly let me surpass Guy-sensei in just three years?" Rock Lee asked eagerly, his excitement overshadowing Ino's dramatic flair.

"A power that works well with the Eight Inner Gates. We'll discuss it in detail later," Naruto replied with a reassuring smile. He then turned to Tenten, pulling out a small box and handing it to her.

"Remember, train for three hours every single day without fail for three years. If you stick to it, you'll gain three abilities: telekinesis, enhanced vision, and teleportation. Think of them as akin to a kekkei genkai or a secret technique."

Naruto leaned closer to whisper in Tenten's ear, his breath brushing against her earlobe. "This training box is special; use it wisely."

Tenten's cheeks flushed a deep red as her body stiffened, almost unable to stand. Naruto, noticing her discomfort, quickly stepped back.

[Interesting, I didn't expect Tenten to have such a sensitive disposition! This training box, worth 30,000 Honkai points, was totally worth it!] Naruto thought to himself as he turned his attention to the others.

Both Hinata and Sakura glared at Tenten, silently adding her to their mental list of potential rivals in love.

"Alright, let's move on to the next step!" Naruto said, addressing the group. "Shikamaru, Chōji, Ino—I'll give you your first assignment!"

He pressed his hands to the ground.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Four plumes of white smoke rose simultaneously, revealing four massive Third Generation Nine Tails. Their enormous forms filled the open space, even crushing nearby trees.

"These are the new Third Generation Nine Tails," Naruto explained. "They've been assigned to you three. You can choose your partner from among them. If you don't wish to proceed, you're free to abstain."

The sheer presence of the four Nine Tails left the group stunned. The unintentional pressure emitted by the beasts was enough to fill everyone with awe and fear—except Sakura, whose Mangekyō Sharingan left her unfazed.

"I'll go first. It's been boring staying in Mount Qingqiu for so long!" Qingqiu Xingchen declared, stepping forward and immediately merging with Shikamaru in a swirl of chakra.

"Don't leave me out!"

Qingqiu Xingguang and Qingqiu Xingyao growled in unison, transforming into chakra and entering Chōji and Ino, respectively.

The last Nine Tails, Qingqiu Xingmang, realized it had hesitated too long and was left awkwardly swirling in the wind.

[I wanted a partner too!] Qingqiu Xingmang thought, frustrated.

Naruto watched as the three Third Generation Nine Tails returned to their respective Jinchūriki, then stepped forward to reinforce the Four Symbols Seal for each of them.

"Naruto, is there really no one else? I want to go out and see the world too! Qingqiu Mountain is nice, but it's so monotonous!"

Qingqiu Xingmang, the last remaining Third Generation Nine Tails, looked at Naruto with a frustrated expression. Its enormous fox eyes darted to the other potential candidates, occasionally narrowing in annoyance.

"Ugh, none of them are a good match," Naruto said with an embarrassed smile. He hadn't expected the Third Generation Nine Tails to cooperate this well, and it seemed unfair to leave one behind.

"Can I try?"

Just as Qingqiu Xingmang looked ready to give up, a petite figure stepped forward, her fists clenched as she spoke with determination.

"Hinata?!" Naruto exclaimed, staring at her in shock. "Why would you want to—"

Naruto trailed off. He could sense Hinata's fear of the Nine Tails.

"I… I want to be like Naruto-kun," Hinata stammered, her face turning crimson. "I want to share the same experiences as you, even if it means becoming a Jinchūriki."

Hinata's voice trembled slightly, but her determination was clear. Deep down, she was doing this not just for herself, but also to stay close to Naruto and prevent others from stealing his heart.

Naruto's pupils trembled as her words sank in. He felt his affection for Hinata grow even stronger.

"She truly is Naruto's future wife," Qingqiu Xingmang teased with a hearty laugh. Without hesitation, it transformed into pure chakra and entered Hinata's body.

The sudden teasing caught Hinata off guard, making her nervousness vanish. Instead, she felt a surprising sense of comfort and trust toward Qingqiu Xingmang.

Naruto could only shake his head helplessly as he stepped forward to seal Hinata's chakra. "Well, that settles it," he muttered to himself. Originally, he had planned to unlock the Tenseigan for both Hinata and Neji, but things had taken an unexpected turn.

"Shino, Kiba! Unleash your insects and ninja dogs. Whatever happens next, don't panic," Naruto instructed.

He pulled out a flashlight-like device from his inventory. It was one of Doraemon's special single-use items: the Evolution and Degeneration Ray Gun. This device could evolve or regress any organism for up to 10,000 years, either unlocking hidden potential or reducing it to its most primitive form.

Although Shino and Kiba didn't fully understand, they trusted Naruto and obediently placed their partners—Akamaru and Shino's insects—on the open ground.

Naruto activated the ray gun, bathing Akamaru and Shino's bugs in its glowing light. Under everyone's astonished gazes, Akamaru's body began to transform. His claws, teeth, and fur grew longer and more refined with every passing second. Shino's bugs underwent a similar evolution, their forms becoming more complex and powerful.

"This… this is incredible! An evolved species!" Shino exclaimed, his expert eye quickly noticing the changes.

"Akamaru… oh my god!" Kiba stammered, staring wide-eyed at his companion. Sweat trickled down his forehead as Akamaru's body grew larger and larger, eventually reaching the size of an elephant.

By the time the ray's light faded, Akamaru had grown to half the size of Gamabunta, towering over everyone. Meanwhile, Shino's bugs had evolved into a dense, pitch-black swarm of nanoscopic insects.

"This is insane! How am I supposed to train with such a massive Akamaru?" Kiba said nervously, his eyes darting between the enormous white-furred dog and Naruto.

Naruto shrugged indifferently. "He's your partner, so you'll figure it out. Anyway, Rock Lee, you're up next."

At the mention of his name, Rock Lee leaped forward, his fists clenched and his eyes burning with determination. "Finally, my turn! This is the fiery passion of youth! The finale is always the best part. Naruto, I'm ready!"

Naruto sighed and handed him a small black pill. "Take this and get back to training. Don't waste time."

Rock Lee hesitated for a moment, then nodded with a serious expression. "This… this must be some kind of rare secret medicine! Naruto, I promise not to waste your kindness."

Without another word, Lee popped the pill into his mouth and chewed enthusiastically. "Hmm, it tastes like a military ration pill," he muttered to himself.

[Of course, it's just a military ration pill. The real power isn't activated yet,] Naruto thought, stifling a laugh at Lee's naivety.
