Chapter 185 Yuhihong's Surprise, Mangekyō Sharingan

Konoha Year 63

Hokage Office

Not long after Kakashi left Naruto and Sako alone—barely two seconds later—the same black hole appeared, and Naruto and Sako returned to the Hokage office.

"Did something happen?"

Kakashi noticed Sako's slightly uneasy expression, and a sense of foreboding crept into his mind.

"No, no!

Naruto, take out your information scroll..."

Sako quickly concealed her unease, turning to Naruto and urging him in an attempt to distract Kakashi's attention.

"Alright, let me take a look first..."

Naruto didn't pay much attention to Sako's odd behavior. He pulled out the scroll Shikamaru had given him and began to read it.

Kakashi glanced at Sako, his curiosity piqued, and then turned his attention to the scroll in Naruto's hand.

"Huh...?"

"Eh, nothing important in the future after all!

I'll just head out for now..."

Naruto muttered in exasperation, staring at the handwriting on the scroll with visible frustration. He looked at Kakashi, his face darkened with embarrassment.

"This style really suits me!" Naruto thought sarcastically.

And with that, he vanished in an instant!

Kakashi, puzzled, walked over to the scroll and read it. As soon as his eyes scanned the contents, he froze. His expression turned stiff as he processed the words.

The scroll contained only two short paragraphs, but the implications were enough to make him uneasy.

Turning toward Sako, Kakashi handed her the scroll and asked, "Sako, what exactly is going on in the future of Konoha?"

Sako, who had been lost in thought, took the scroll and read it.

"The future that can be predicted is not the real future.

Knowing too much is not always a good thing."

She muttered to herself, her pupils trembling slightly. But as she spoke, her expression shifted. Her eyes brightened as if a sudden realization had dawned upon her.

That's right—knowing the future meant she had the power to change it if she wished.

"Kakashi-sensei, the future Konoha will be fine.

Don't worry about it—we'll follow our current strategies and adapt as needed."

With newfound clarity, Sako's uneasiness dissipated. She regained her usual confident demeanor and addressed Kakashi with a smile.

At the very least, Sako was certain that Konoha would remain safe for the next ten years.

"Fine!"

Kakashi hesitated for a moment, as if about to ask more, but seeing Sako's firm attitude, he decided against it.

If Sako didn't want to elaborate, pressing her further would be pointless.

A Tavern in Konoha

Yuhi Kurenai, in her prime, sat alone at a corner table, nursing a glass of wine.

Her elegant figure and flowing black hair radiated a mature charm that turned heads, but her expression betrayed her troubled thoughts.

"Damn Naruto... what do you mean by this..."

Kurenai muttered, frowning slightly as she stared into the glass in her hand. Her deep crimson eyes shimmered faintly, unfocused.

Just days ago, Asuma had suddenly confessed his feelings to her.

But because of Naruto, Kurenai had rejected Asuma's confession without hesitation. Yet, Naruto's indifferent attitude left her feeling both annoyed and conflicted.

"Sensei Kurenai, so this is where you've been!"

Naruto's voice suddenly rang out, snapping Kurenai from her trance. She turned to see him approaching her.

"Naruto?"

Caught off guard, a trace of shyness flickered across Kurenai's face. She lowered her head slightly, her cheeks flushed.

"Did he hear what I just said?" she wondered, her mind racing with embarrassment.

"Sensei Kurenai, I need your help with something..."

Naruto, oblivious to her reaction, rolled his eyes playfully before stepping forward. Without waiting for her reply, he grabbed her arm and activated the Flying Thunder God Technique.

"This place isn't exactly ideal for what I have in mind!" he muttered.

In a flash, the two vanished from the tavern.

"Hey, you haven't paid the bill yet!"

The tavern owner, staring at the now-empty seats, stood in stunned silence for a moment before shouting angrily.

But his complaints were in vain—their figures were long gone.

Naruto's Home

"Naruto, why did you bring me to your house?"

Seeing the familiar surroundings, Yuhi Kurenai finally reacted, her face slightly flushed. She avoided Naruto's gaze, trying to hide her nervousness. At the same time, her heart pounded like a wild drum.

"Sensei Kurenai, there will soon be significant changes in the ninja world.

For your safety, I've prepared a special gift for you."

Naruto explained with a cheerful smile. He raised his hand, and a pair of scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan appeared in his palm.

It was none other than Itachi's Tsukuyomi eye and Obito's Kamui eye.

For Kurenai, a Jōnin specializing in genjutsu, these eyes were particularly well-suited to enhance her abilities.

"Mangekyō Sharingan!"

Kurenai's eyes widened in shock as she stared at the pair of crimson eyes, her pupils shrinking in disbelief.

"Yes, these are a pair of Mangekyō Sharingan with no side effects!

Sensei Kurenai, with your exceptional talent in genjutsu, having these eyes will greatly enhance your strength.

Now, don't move. I'll handle the implantation process."

Naruto reassured her with a smile and began to prepare.

"Sharingan... with no side effects?"

Kurenai's gaze locked onto the Mangekyō Sharingan, her eyes filled with awe and longing. She swallowed nervously, murmuring to herself.

As someone deeply experienced in genjutsu, Kurenai was well aware of the Sharingan's ability to amplify illusion techniques.

Especially after witnessing the Uchiha clan's prowess during the Konoha Crush incident, her admiration and envy had only grown stronger.

And now, in front of her, was the Mangekyō Sharingan—far beyond the capabilities of the standard three-tomoe Sharingan.

To say she wasn't tempted would be a lie.

"Here we go..."

Seeing Kurenai's reaction, Naruto understood her feelings. He gave her a gentle reminder before quickly striking her acupuncture points with lightning precision.

Kurenai felt a numb sensation around her eyes, and her vision went dark momentarily.

Naruto, having had experience performing eye transplants multiple times, worked skillfully and completed the procedure in no time.

"All done!

You'll need a few minutes to adjust to your new eyes," Naruto said warmly, retracting his hand as the healing wound closed under the effects of his Healing Jutsu.

"Naruto, what's the meaning of this?

You dare give me something so precious—do you want to...?"

Kurenai closed her eyes as they healed, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red. Summoning her courage, she raised her voice to ask.

"Huh?

Sensei Kurenai, I don't know what you're talking about!"

Naruto's eyes sparkled with mischief as he feigned innocence, his expression playful.

"You... You...!

Ugh, you little...!"

Kurenai stammered, her face turning redder as she trembled with anger.

Seeing her flustered state, Naruto decided it was time to act. He stepped forward and caught her in his arms.

With someone like Kurenai, sometimes you just needed to take the lead.

After all, he wasn't losing out by taking the initiative.

"You... Uh..."

Kurenai froze as Naruto's face came closer. Just as she was about to say something, he pressed his lips to hers, silencing her.

Her closed eyes shot open in shock, revealing the newly implanted Mangekyō Sharingan. The world around her suddenly became sharper, clearer, and more vivid than ever before, her vision enhanced tenfold.

But at that moment, the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan was the last thing on Kurenai's mind.

"You little brat... What a bold move..."

Just before completely surrendering to the moment, a fleeting thought crossed Kurenai's mind, and she found herself caught in Naruto's rhythm.
