Finally am home ,I pressed the door bell and aunty opened the door for me,i greeted her and hand over the things I bought to her asking her to prepare a nice meal for us in celebration of my work ,she congratulated me and went to the kitchen,I happily went inside to meet my grandmother,upon seeing her I hug her tightly and break the news to her,she wasn't too happy for me and I didn't read too much meaning to it cause I felt she is acting like that because she will miss me when I go to work ,

We have finish having our dinner, mrs Betty prepared sweet potato with sausage and fried chicken,Zoe is back from work and she was very happy when I told her I got the job,she congratulated me and ask me to use my first salary to take her to a club,which I gladly accepted ,Zoe is the out going type,she likes going out to places,attending parties while am the opposite of her,am also indoor,shy and reserved.how we manage to be still close despite our differences baffled me.

Zoe is not only a friend to me but she is also like a sister that I never had ,we met at the shopping mall where she came to do her shopping and I was the sales person attending to her ,she bought a lot of things for herself because she is celebrating her birthday party which she invited me ,I told her I would have loved to attend but will b busy

She begged me that she doesn't have much friend here that she just came back from abroad where she is staying with her mum that her father wanted to see her that why she came and she doesn't want to be lonely i told her I will have to skip work to honor her invite ,before leaving she asked for my house address and promise to send a driver to come pick

Me up ,

The next day I receive a box containing an invite for Zoe birthday couple with a beautiful dress,I had no choice than to attend the party ,by 7pm her father driver came to pick me up to the party

After that day Zoe always call to check up on me within a short time we became close friends and I introduced her to mama ,mama liked her as her own

The day mama n I left to owerri five years ago I called her when I was already on my way and told her I that am traveling,we always keep in touch through calls and text . Zoe is aware of everything,the reason I dump

I retired to my room to catch some sleep because tomorrow is my first day at work ,I was asked to resumed by 7 am in the morning,and I will love to create a good impression to my manager by coming early to work .

I took my bath ,brush my teeth ,I set my alarm clock for 5am .

As my back touch my bed I drifted to sleep

Ring ,ring ,ring ,ding dong.

.My alarm clock woke me up,still feeling sleepy I took out my phone from my bed side drawer ,looking at the screen of my phone , immediately the sleep cleared from my eyes

I quickly went into the bathroom,took my bath put on a pair of yellow skirt with a flower printed blouse with a pair of black heel,i tie my hair in a pony tail style,I have a very long thick black hair,my grandmother said I got it from my father,my father is very hairy ,thereby revealing my beauty .

Well I haven't said much about me.

I am Thelma Jaren,24 years old graduate of fashion designers from the best university of owerri,I am 5 ft talk,fair in complexion ,with a round face ,a set of black long hair ,nice long legs with a nice hip to complement my look.am single but a mother ,yes I had a first and only love which I fearfully let go five years ago and I still regret I made that decision ,I have had one or more guys asking me to be their girlfriend back then in school but the feelings isn't there and after like two dates we end everything,mama have always advise me to move on with my life and forget about him that is not possible for us to make amends considering the way we broke up ,but I still feel if he founds out about the truth am sure he will know I did it out of the love I had for him.

I have finish applying the red lipstick on my lips looking at my wrist watch I still have about 1 hour before the start of work ,I went downstairs and mama and the house keeper have already set the table,Zoe is already sitted waiting for me,I joined her and we eat our breakfast quickly. After our meals we wave mama and aunty good bye ,both wish us a stress free day and we went out.
