T. O. was examining the ship's computer attempting to find a port to interface with the computer navigation with his detapad device. He was sitting in pilot seat trying to look around for the interface port connector.
"Reporting for duty captain Wales." A female generated robot voice said behind him.
T. O. Half turned in his seat to face the druid. The druid was a tall android with a silver body with an hour glass slim figure. It was dressed in overalls no shoes and a bust that had the appearance of large breasts.
"Your Eddy? My new co-pilot?" T. O. said.
Eddy nodded it's head. "Yes, Sir. I am here to assist you in your launch and other ship management on your mission." Eddy said.
T. O. noticed flicking lights in the front of the Andruid. He grunted looking away from the druid. "I'm going to need you to help find the port interface for my detapad so I can plug it in the computer." He said.
Eddy walked over and sat don beside him taking the detapad into it's hand. Eddy touched a switch on the console. A slot popped up and she slid it into the slot. Once it was in a monitor on the dashboard came active.
Eddy leaned over to glance at the series of star coordinations on it. Eddy leaned over to review the coordinations. "You have seventeen coordinations Captain with the current fuel source cells you have only the means to reach seven of these coordinations baring the chance of possible dogfights and encounters with space pirates. Which location would you like to go to first?" Eddy said.
T. O. Leaned back in his seat looking over the list but he leaned up suddenly and pointed to a yellow glowing star coordination. "That one first. The rest will be negotiable depending on how the first lanuch location of the mission turns out." He said.
"Affirmative. ETA of launch is twenty-eight minutes or upon the captain's orders." Eddy said.
T.O. nodded his head. "When we're fueled up for the lanuch and Tammy has inspected the jump drives then we'll launch off on my command. Do a system yet of everything and provide me a list of anything we might be missing in terms of supplies and resources. I'm going to outside real quick to get a word with my partner." He said and got to his feet.
"Affirmative captain. Do you wish to hear of what other services I can provide for you on the mission?"
"Unless it's a neck rub or back massage I ain't interested. I just need you to help me run the ship. I'll take care of getting your system checks and annual repairs." T. O said.
"Affirmative. Eddy unit 0027A_zB is well able to help in ship management though I have no programming to handle back massages." Eddy said.
"That's fine. Stay and watch the ship for me. No one but me, Tammy and you are to be allowed in the cuckpit or near anything system related in the ship." He said.
"Affirmative." Eddy said and began to do system checks.
T. O missed brushing by Eddy carefully and headed out of the door way of the cuckpit. He had gone out a short distance down a short walk way to a holding area for minor cargo.
He found a few crates of supplies that were placed into the holding area by employees that worked for Cross Mantle. He didn't see Tammy anywhere though. The cargo hanger door was open and he heard arguing going on outside. He frowned at the foreign language being spoken.
T. O recognized Tammy's voice though in the heated exchange. He went outside the ship to find Tammy and Lewis Vladimir her father arguing heatedly.
Lewis glanced at him once before he turned back to his daughter and he argued heatedly. He was motioning with his hands expressively. Tammy was angry but Lewis seemed more acting.
T. O was getting tired of the noise so he started taking out coins from his money bag. He started counting out coins. Soon enough Lewis was looking at the coins and he speech slowed until hr stopped.
T.O held out the coins to him. "Here." He said.
"T.O don't do that. My dad and I are-" Tammy began but stopped when Lewis walked over to T.O took the money shook his hand and walked away.
"Dad? Dad?! YOU SLIMY GIT!" Tammy yelled at her father as he quickly went away back to town. She looked at T.O
"He's only going to use it for buzz." She said.
"Yeah. Don't matter. It was what he wanted. How's the jump drive engines look to you? Are we fuelled up enough?" He asked.
Tammy sighed. "Jump drives are good. I spent time working on them myself. We have a few more minutes until we're filled up enough for the journey. Eddy sent a message out to Cross about the need to have enough fuel for the journey. What do you think of Eddy as a co-pilot unit?" She asked.
T. O smiled. "Good unit. I can work with it and told the druid that I would fund it's annual repairs and such as long as it can do the job I need it to." He said.
"Goals? What goals are you talking about?" Tammy asked in a funny tune to her voice.
T. O stared at her. "To manage the ship and help with piloting. What the hell else would I need it for? Are you okay?" He said.
Tammy frowned and flinched back. "I'm fine. I was just asking a question." She said and lying to his face.
T. O stared at Tammy. "Tammy. Don't start some hoodwinking game woman because of whatever bullshit you on right now." He said.
"I'm not on some hoodwinking game. I was just asking. Alright you told me your peace. When we set to leave. Where we headed partner?" She said.
T. O sighed he thought about pushing the point to find out what was Tammy's issues but decided he really didn't care. "Our first job. Just have coordinations to the place. I haven't opened up the mission folder just yet." He said.
FTammy grinned. "Our first job." She said.
T. O nodded. "Yeah our first job."
