You Want To Kiss Me

-Dimitri Sokolov:

For a moment, I forgot about the food in my hands.

All I could do was stare. My heart thudded in my chest, and I couldn't quite tear my eyes away from him.

The tension in the air between us was thick and charged. It felt… electric.

Damon caught my gaze, and I could see the flicker of surprise in his eyes too.

But it quickly shifted back to his usual guarded expression.

He cleared his throat awkwardly, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. "You, uh… you need something?"

His voice was rough, but there was something in it—something that told me he wasn't entirely unaffected by the moment either.

I shook myself out of the daze, smiling as I held up the plate. "Yeah. Your Lunch," I said, stepping forward and placing the food on the nightstand. "I made you what asked for."
