Chapter 2: "A spark of curiosity"
I stuttered, he didn't hesitate to take a glass and intentionally spilled it on me.
Me: Hey!
Adam: Consider it a favour darling, you could use a bit of a wake up call. Not everything revolves around your world. Now if you'll excuse me I've got better things to do than entertain your confusion.

We left the bar and went to her apartment. It wasn't overly glamorous for a spoilt girl like her but I admired her sense of fashion.
Me: This is cosy
Catherine: This is the least I could do, I call it my hideout base for when i finally escape my parent's clutches. But it's not enough since they'll track me down anyways.
Me: So are your parents control freaks?

I tossed myself on the soft "L" shaped couch that was at the center of the living room. My eyes were beginning to shut as I listened to her voice slowly fading away and before I knew it, I dozed off.
A FEW HOURS LATER

I had no choice, it's either I wanted to die on the cold streets or accept help from someone who I think probably hates me. I went inside the car and we drove off.
Adam: Your place or mine?
Me: [ with a confused look] what?
Adam: *giggles* I meant, should we start at your place or mine.
Me: Uhm whever you're going, I'm just not going home right now
Adam: Boyfriend issues?
Me:[ sarcastically ]How nice of you to just assume of that
Adam: Relax Iam not trying to attack you or anything, just tryna get to know you better. We're here!

We went inside, it was a small cosy apartment. Clean and organised, I like. He bought two bottles of water

Adam: Yes, at this moment water is the best solution for you right now

[Akward silence as I gulp one of the bottles of water]

Me: What?
Adam: Ain't no way, you're spending the night in this apartment without a word
Me: What am i supposed to say?
Adam: Anything
Me: Like what?
Adam: Who are you, for starters
Me: Iam Arthur, just a normal guy with a life that has no direction
Adam: Wow, I'm speechless, amazing
Me: Cut that crap. Okay my turn to ask, who are you..for starters
Adam: Well, I'm Adam just a normal "gay" guy trying to make my own world in the big city of Naven.

Me: What would happen if, for instance a "straight" guy gets interested into a "gay" guy

After I held his hand, the atmosphere quickly changed. I got up and faced him.
