And there I was. Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, all I could see was trees and plants everywhere I looked. The sun was shining down towards the forest that I was in, illuminating as much as it could.
How did I get here? I have no clue. A couple seconds ago I was under hot running water taking a shower. The next, I'm here. The only thing that comes to mind would be some sort of teleportation or spatial displacement happening here. But that doesn't make any sense right? This kind of thing shouldn't normally be possible. But here I am.
After much thought, I decide it best not to question it any further. Just being here already throws all the logic I thought I knew out the door. Anyways, the bigger problem at hand here is that I'm still wet and naked.
The wind blows-
"Damn, that's cold." I say as I tense up while shivering.
If I was gonna be teleported somewhere. I was at least hoping it would be when I was clothed and dry. But I guess I have to deal with being naked and afraid.
With nothing else much I can do, I begin walking. I see all kinds of plants and greenery. Never having explored nature too much, all this was quite a spectacle.
*sigh*
"This is cool and all, but I really hope I can get home."
After walking for a couple more minutes I hear some noises a bit further away from where I am. As I got closer I still couldn't see anything because of some bushes in the way. But I did see and smell some smoke. Smoke which means fire. Fire which means...
"People!" I yell as I pop out of the bush.
As I pop out, I see 5 barely clothed small people around a fire looking in my direction.
"Green... people?"
The longer I stared at them. The less they looked like people. Were they aliens? Did I get teleported to an alien planet? No. Those ears, those eyes, those teeth, the whole fantasy look about them. If I didn't know any better. These are...
"Goblins?!"
This was the moment I realized, I was probably a longer way from home than I had initially thought. Nevermind that thought though. The goblin in the front suddenly began charging towards me with a knife and the others followed suit.
"Huh? Wait, wait, wait, wait. What? Huh?" Is all I can manage to get out before the first goblin closes in on me.
It comes at me slashing but luckily I dodge to the side just in time. There's no time for me to think. My next action is a front kick to the goblin's back knocking it to the ground. From that kick I can tell that the goblin doesn't weigh too much. Their height, probably around 3 feet? If so, they should be about as strong as a human of the same size.
I should have the size and weight advantage. Next I quickly rush towards the downed goblin grabbing its right wrist in an attempt to disarm the goblin.
The goblin seems to be stronger than I had anticipated but not enough that I can't handle. Since I can't rip the knife out of its grip.
"I'll just break your arm."
I place my left arm on the goblin's back and with my right hand I pull back.
*crack*
The goblin screams in pain but so do I.
"Argh!" I yell in pain.
One of the goblins attacked me from behind and slashed my back. I quickly turn around to locate the attacker. It stands right in front of me. Angered by the attack I lunge towards the goblin pushing it to the ground. As I get the goblin down I use both of my hands to grab hold of the arm that held the goblin's weapon and stab the goblin right in its chest.
I don't know if it was just the adrenaline, anger, fear or panic but I began throwing a flurry of punches at the goblins face without holding back. I couldn't tell if the blood was coming from the goblin or from my hands, but I just kept the assault going.
Suddenly two goblins try to jump on me as I beat on the goblin in front of me. I react in time grabbing one of them and throwing it at the other one knocking them both to the ground. With no time to waste I get up and rush towards them with the intent to finish them off as quickly as possible. I approach one of them and I raise my right foot before bringing it down towards one of the goblin's chest. I keep at it until its chest is completely caved in.
I turn to the other goblin and just as I was about to attack.
"Argh!!!"
The first goblin from before whose arm I broke stabs me in my left thigh bringing me to the ground. I reach for the knife and pull it out. With the knife in my hand I push off my right leg towards the goblin but it moves out of the way in time. This gives enough time for the other two goblins to attack me. One stabs me in the side with a small spear and another slashes my left arm with an axe.
I'll probably die here but I'll at least take out one more goblin with me. I grab hold of the goblin that stabbed me with the spear and drive the knife in my hand up through its neck. At the same time the goblin with the axe chops into my right arm. I move away as fast as I can but the first goblin from before rips the spear out of my side and stabs me again. The goblin with the axe also continues attacking.
Now its just continuous attacks from both of them. My luck seems to have run out now. But with one final desperate move I jump on top of the axe wielding goblin hoping to trap it under my weight. The attempt was a success. The goblin is now stuck under me but the other goblin is still a threat.
The goblin with the broken arm jumps down onto me with the spear in its left arm and stabs me right in the stomach.
*cough* *cough*
Blood comes spitting out of my mouth. The goblin stands on top of me watching me bleed out thinking that its won.
"Screw you. Damn goblin." I muster all my strength to say.
I still have one more move though. I grab the goblin's left arm with my right hand and the spear with my left. I rip the spear out and quickly pull the goblin towards me. I wasn't sure where all this strength was coming from, but I was going to use it to finish this goblin. I grab the goblin by its head and body. With all my strength I twist and I twist until...
*snap*
The goblin goes motionless. Next I take care of the one below me.
When the fight is over I lay there naked on the ground. As I slowly die of blood loss I don't even have enough energy to think. I quietly accept my fate. All that matters is that I at least took the goblins out with me...
-some time later-
My eyes snap open.
