Meeting 2

Ebilade pulled up to the meeting spot—a nondescript, run-down warehouse on the outskirts of town. As he killed the engine, he looked around, arching an eyebrow at the eerie, abandoned feel of the place. Weeds grew through cracks in the pavement, and broken windows cast shadows on the ground, adding to the unsettling silence that hung in the air.

"Typical," he muttered to himself, rolling his eyes as he stepped out of his car. "If this isn't straight out of some B-movie setup…" He tucked his hands in his jacket pockets, casually scanning the area as he walked toward the warehouse door.

"Alright, Owen," he called out, his voice carrying a tinge of irritation mixed with curiosity. "Let's get this over with. I don't have all day, you know."

Silence.
