Chapter 5: Be an Oiran

Crimson veil, snow white skin tone, red lips and crimson bedlah. Lumiere finally came out from the room.

All of the people in the room couldn't help but to look at Lumiere. Everyone was. Mesmerized by his beauty.

Seeing Lumiere, Alice's eyes shifted. His blue as ocean eyes became amethyst. it looked a bit crystalized as if it was watery. His face expression was very different from others. It wasn't mesmerized rather it was quite disturbed.

"A... A Goddess!" Someone said.

"B...but isn't that the same man earlier?"

"Yeah... He's that..."

"The heavenly diety from the underworld!" As the masn say that, all the people inside the house bowed and kneel down in front of Lumiere.

Seeing that, Lumiere was so confused, when Watari spoke up.

"It's their way of gratitude and respect."

Gratitude and respect? Why? The way I dress? Do people here have high respect for oirans?

Hearing that, Lumiere's lips were about to curve up but he saw Alice's distorted expression. His lips immediately curved down. His eye lash went down like a wing of a fiery moth who lost its fire and destroyed.

Alice turned around and started to walk towards the door. He beckoned his hand.

"Watari, I don't want to sleep here. Book an inn." He said.

"I understand my Lord." Watari said succinctly.

He then went towards Lumiere and offered his hand.

"This way please,sir Lumiere" watari said.

A portal then appeared towards the door. Watari leads Lumiere to it.When the three of them were in front of the door, Alice immediately stepped in towards the portal. Lumiere and watari entered.

As soon as they stepped in, an elegant

"Let's get going."Alice said with a cold tone.

"Yes Lord Alice." Said Lumiere.

Seeing that, Azazel folds his fan half and

covers his face with it.

Watari created a magic circle and made it as a portal.

"Lord Alice, Lumiere-dono this way please."

"Ahh... yes."

They proceed to enter the portal. As they pass through it, they got into another room. The room was so spacious with only a round table and two chairs at the middle. On the top of the table there is a one small pot with a plant that seems grassy at the center and a glass of water. No more other furnitures other than that. It was as if the place wasn't a real place but rather a domain.

The 1st chair was occupied by a handsome young man who seems to be waiting for their arrival.

As they take their first step inside the place the man spoke up and said, "I was waiting for your arrival."

Lumiere paused. His faced looked distorted and pale.

The thought of being sold again to a stranger made Lumiere's stomach feels like throwing up. Lots of thoughts were on his head.

Just look at this. I didn't even last a week... I'm being sold again... Ahahaha... Thought Lumiere.

"What's the matter?" Said Alice.

"Nothing... I'm sorry." Lumiere then smiled.

"You needn't to say sorry." Alice said.

Hearing that, Lumiere's eyes shifted.

Stop!

"You didn't do anything wrong."

Stop! Why you have to be so kind with me when you'll just gonna throw me away? You're just like others!

"Ah... Yes... I'm sorry." Said Lumiere as he smiled warmly.

Alice let out a deep sigh. He then offer his hand to Lumiere to help him to walk.

Lumiere then held into him and then they proceeds to walk.

As they come close to the man,Lumiere's hand is becoming colder. His face is turning paler and his heart is racing so fast.

Suddenly a cold yet soothing voice whispered into his ears. "Lumi, don't be nervous. Dance as you usually do."

Hearing those words again, Lumiere's eyes shifted. "Dance as you usually do! damn bastard!" the almost the same words that his past owners always said to him. But hearing that word from Alice is totally different. Instead of feeling miserable and annoyed, he felt enlightened and relaxed. It's as if his usual meaning of "Dancing as he usually do" for him totally changed. From "Dance for us and make more money you useless bastard" to "Dance genuinely as you usually do."

Those words kills me...

How funny... Soaring a person up so high and then leaving them in the midair in a blink of an eye so they could fall too deep. Hah only naive could fall on that trap... But... I guess I'm naive after all. I wonder what this man fed me that I became naive in a blink of an eye. Perhaps he used enchantment... Ah no he himself is enchanting already.

Lumiere smiled and fixed his composure as they got in front of the young man.

The young man looked elegant, his facial features are like of a noble man. His hair is dark, his eyes is sharp, his skin tone is white and judging just from his seating posture, he was quite tall.

Seeing Lumiere, the eyes of the man shifted. The grin on his mouth couldn't worn off as he say, "Good! This is good! So beautiful! Sigh Lord Alice you really don't know how to disappoint people don't you!"

Excitement was written on the man's face.

Lumiere was still hesitant to dance,When

Alice grinned at him as a signal for him to begin. Burden was in his heart. Seeing Alice, his newly master, giving him to another person made his heart ache like it was torn into pieces. Perhaps he was feeling sad because for the first time someone showed him right hospitality yet he was being sold to a new person again.

Lumiere couldn't do anything but to start to dance, when suddenly Alice grabbed Lumiere away from the man.

Lumiere was surprised and confused why did Alice do that. He looked at him with confusion, and there he saw that a knife was thrown at the table in front of the man.

The void was removed. The place changed. There are many elves and vampires at surroundings. Though the people don't seem to see them.

The man panicked and took out a knife from his sleeve.

"Who... Who's that!?" Said the man.

Judging from the man's stance he was pretty skilled when it comes at fighting.

Another knife was thrown towards the young man. Lumiere immediately took the knife from the table and threw it towards the man to dodge the knife.

"Oh my, my! What's happening?! Lord Alice? Where are we? And where's the Kitsune and the man from the eastern dessert?!"

Azazel said as he folds his fan halr and covers his face with it.

Alice then looked at him with a cold aura.

"We're at the middle of the dark market."Watari said.

"Then where's the Kitsune and the man?!" Azazel asked.

"I don't know either." Said Watari.

Hearing that, Lumiere's eyes shifted.

They can't see us? He thought.

Perhaps this is some sort of magic...But why I'm also not visible to them?

While Lumiere was thinking, The man took the opportunity to run.

"Don't run. If you run, you'll die." Lumiere said.

The man couldn't help but to do as Lumiere said.

Of course that thing was a lie. He wouldn't die if he run,but I have no choice but to lie. You couldn't just leave me behind bastard! I have many questions for you!

Lumiere looked around to find the person who's been throwing knife to the man.

Another knife was thrown but this time it was not aim at the man, it was aim at Alice. Seeing the knife coming towards Alice, Lumiere stomped his feet and a strong air pressure explode at the whole place making the big rock in front of him fly. He then kicked the rock towards the knife to change its direction.

The people could see the explosion of the air and the rock flying but not Lumiere and knife.

"Eak! What was that wind Lord Alice!? It was so strong! Was the God of wind angry at us?!" Said Azazel.

"Stop saying nonsense. It's just a small wind."Said Alice.

"Let's stay here." He added.

"Why?! Can't you see it's scary here now?!" Azazel cried.

"Can you pass through those crazy oirans?"

Hearing that Azazel's face turned pale. In the deepest part of the dark market, there are oirans who are crazy that won't let you off when they see you, if you didn't spend night with them regardless of your gender.

"Why can't you do something?!" Azazel cried.

" I don't spend nights to brothels." Said Alice.

"Why? Oh are you a cutsleeve?" Azazel sneered.

"No." Alice said.

"Then why?! If you are not a cutsleeve,Why can't you sleep with those oirans so we can get out of this dangerous place?!" Azazel yelled.

Hearing that, all of the people around them paused and look at them.

"..."

"..."

Lord Alice doesn't spend nights with oirans? I thought he's spending, because that oiran earlier is asking Lord Alice that as if he's a regular... Well I guess it makes sense because in our first meeting he was so mad when I took off my clothes.

Somehow, hearing that thing made Lumiere felt relieved. He didn't also know why.

"Azazel are you a cutsleeve?" Alice asked.

"Of course not!" Azazel said.

"Then why don't you go sleep with them?" Alice said.

"That's..."

Another knife was thrown again and it cut Azazel's cheek.

"Ouch! what was that?" Azazel said.

"Probably the God of wind. He wants to shut you up because you are too noisy." Watari said as he smiled.

"What's that? Why didn't I saw it? Wait... It's not knife... Turns out it's Watari's doing after all."

Suddenly Lumiere's spine run cold. He immediately took Azazel's fan and grabbed the man on his collar and knelt him down.

" Eak! Where's my fan?!" Azazel said

They can't see the things that I'm touching? I see.

"How many knife do you have?" Lumiere said.

"Ah..."

" Take them out." Lumiere said.

The man then took them out as Lumiere said. He took out almost hundred different kinds of knife from his sleeve. Seeing that, Lumiere grinned with his eye brows meeting together.

"What are you? a butcher?" Lumiere said as threw ten knives in the midair. It was about 200 cm high. He then jumped as high as the knives and blow it using Azazel's fan.

Seeing that the man yelled. "Are you crazy?! Do you want to kill those people around you?!"

"Who said that I'll kill them?"

Hundred of knives was thrown towards them. The first ten knives will be dodge by the knives that Lumiere thrown. of course ten knives wasn't enough, so the man couldn't help but to panic.

"We'll gonna die!" The man cried.

As soon as the first ten knives hit the knives that Lumiere thrown, they shattered into pieces and became a Lily. Hitting the knives that became a Lily turned into a domino effect. The hundred knives became Lilies one by one floating in the air beautifully.

Lumiere then made the fan spin in the air and threw it like a blade. It flew around like a Boomerang.

"Reach."

The fan hit a person wearing a black robe and a mask on the third floor of the house in front of them. The person fell from the barricades.

The person immediately stand up and dashed in a blink of an eye.

"He... He escaped!" The man said.

Lumiere closed his eyes and grinned as he opened it. He then swayed his hands as if pulling out a sword. Flowers of white Lily showed up as he swayed his hands. The white Lilies become tainted red and slowly formed into a violin bow. He then raised his hands leveled to his neck as if he was holding a violin.

He closed his eyes softly and put in a violin playing position. Tainted red Lilies showed up again and formed into a violin. As he played the first note, everything freezes. No one could move.

Lumiere slowly walk through the person. He played another note again and the crowd made a way for him. In there, he saw a lady wearing a black robe and a mask. Her body is slim and her breast is big.

Lumiere then grabbed the lady on her collar and drags her towards Alice.

He took a knife from the knife bundle of the man from dessert and point it to the lady's neck. With a snap of his finger everything defrosts.

"Undo it." Said Lumiere.

The woman was so shocked and confused on what happened. How did she go there when she landed at the crowds.

The woman tried to turn around, but suddenly her spine run cold.

"I don't care what you want with that man, but try to lay your filthy hand again to my master and you will never see this pretty moon again."

"Crazy bastard! He's no longer your master! can't you see he just sold you just a moment ago?" The woman sneered.

" Then you will still dare to lay your filthy hand to him... I see... But why? Does my master done anything bad to you?"said Lumiere as he pull the woman's hair.

"Ah! That hurts you crazy! Is that how you treat a woman?! Shouldn't a man treat woman gently?!" Said the woman.

"Then pardon my inconvenience, I'll just pull your hair off from your scalp gently, you whore. Ah no, that's rude . I should call you Ai-dono"

"You bastard!" Ai took a knife from her sleeve and swayed her hand 90 degree.

The knife thrusted into something hard.

"Haa! Fool letting your guard down!"said Ai.

"You-"

Lumiere's grip from the Ai's hair loosened. Ai then immediately stepped back and turned around.

"Just kidding." Lumiere sneered. The knife wasn't thrusted into Lumiere. It was thrusted into some sort of invincible barrier around him.

A strong force of wind then blown right in front of Ai. Her masked fell and sliced into pieces. Ai's face turned pale. A knife was shoot towards her head. She was shaking as she stares at the knife floating between her eyes. Turned out that it stopped right before it could actually hit Ai.

"I... I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt Lord Alice! I mean no harm to him! I was only supposed to kill that bastard! Please spare my life... " Ai said, as she knelt down in front of Lumiere.

" Your answer was just half truth. You should have said, 'I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt Lord Alice. I was only planning to kill you and that bastard. I was told not to hurt Lord Alice, But because he was so arrogant and always refuses to sleep with me and even choose a man over me, that's why I threw knife at him out of my anger. ' "

Hearing that, Ai begun to shake even more and her face become even paler.

" Th... that's not true I-"

" Are you saying that I'm a liar? " Said Lumiere.

" Ah... No of course not... "Ai said nervously.

"High class of magic. Sure it costs a lot of mana.Tell me who lend you mana?Sh ni, who payed you?" Said Lumiere.

Suddenly the man from the east spit out a mouthful blood. He fell from his knees. And played like a shrimp in the ground. He is holding his into his stomach with so much pain on his face.

"Damn it!" Lumiere turned around and the knife became Lily

Numerous people showed up. There are person who have long ears and others don't have. Both were wearing different clothes but have similarities. They were not dark elves nor vampires. The persons who have long ears have golden theme outfit while the other was purple which indicates their nobility and royalty.

All of the people around them were now looking at them judgefuly. Lumiere and the man from the east including Ai were now visible.

Lumiere opened Azazel fan fully and dashed in front Alice.

"Kitsune! Where did you-? What happened to that man? Hey that's my fan!" Said Azazel

"Alice-sama-"

" Lumi, you're aware aren't you? At the entrance,you held my hand because you saw that there's a spell. You decided just to hold me so you won't release your mana

" Lumi... At the seventh district of the blood moon's empire. It was you right." Said Alice.

Lumiere's grip from the fan tighten.

"Oh my Lord Alice why are you accusing the kitsune? " Said Azazel.

" If so I was, will you kill me?" Lumiere paused. "Don't answer. You could just stab me right now. I won't fight back." Said Lumiere.

Alice's eyes illuminated amethyst. He clenched his fist to the point of bleeding.

"I'm waiting."said Lumiere.

Suddenly Lumiere noticed that he was now wearing a veil.

He grinned and said, "I'll take that as a no." the persons who have just arrived surrounds them all and pointed spears to them.

Blond hair, long ears , fancy clothing, and gives a vibes of an elegant good for nothing noble spoke up in a demeaning way.

"Lord Alice, we were arresting you for murdering Lord Grayson of the East. Try to do anything and we won't hesitate to attack you."

" What murder? Do you have any evidence regarding that? And one more thing, Lord Alice isn't the one who wanted to kill that man it's that girl. " Lumiere said as he closed Azazel's fan and point it to Ai.

"You rude little brat how dare you talk like that to Lord Aki! "

"No don't mind it. Well technically it wasn't Lord Alice who killed that man, but technically he killed him because, he pushed this woman to do such a thing! He tempted her to kill that man! " Idk said, as he puts the back of his hand on his forehead while pointing it to Alice.

What an ugly performance. Thought Lumiere.

"That's the same thing he does at the seventh district of blood moon's empire!" Lord Fiel added.

"Surrender yourself." A voice of a man spoked up.

Purple kimono, sword and moon emblem, high tailed black hair and a handsome face. He has a good physique and was tall. Despite of the light armor and the sword on his waist, his face is giving a vibes of a hot tempered young mistress.

Purple kimono, emblem and that sword, sure it was Aki Cecil. The leader of the Blood moon's empire.He lost all of his family thousand years ago, because of the blood moon's reaper.I heard he was ruthless, but seeing his face he looked like a hot tempered young mistress.

"Lord Alice won't surrender himself. He did nothing wrong." Lumiere said.

"Look at this person... Hah! a prostitute! Do you even know who are you talking to?! He is Lord Aki Cecil! The King of Blood moon kingdom! So watch your mouth!"Lord Fiel said.

Lord Fiel then looked at Lumiere from head to toe. White as snow skin tone, slim body, perfect curves and beautiful fox eyes. Looks that look so pure and jaded. A beauty of a deity.

" Hmm... look at that body of yours. You're probably a virgin. Hah, why don't you just use your mouth to please me instead. It would be pity if a girl like you would stay on a murderer like Lord Alice."

Hearing that, Lord Alice shot him a murderous glance.

"Really? I didn't thought that you've come to the point that you would please yourself to a man. I doubt that this person is a girl." Lord Cecil said as he gave a disdain look at Fiel.

Finally someone who isn't idiot. Thought Lumiere.

" Could you remove your veil? " Lord Cecil said.

Though... I'm not an idiot.

"I refuse." Said Lumiere.

"Why, Are you hiding something?" Said Lord Cecil.

"This veil is a symbol that I am Lord Alice's companion. If I remove this, it's as if I'm cutting our ties." Said Lumiere.

" Nonsense! "Lord Cecil said.

" He said he refuse. Why even bother him?One more thing, I don't remember doing such a thing so don't accuse me. Come back when you have enough evidence." Said Alice.

" But isn't this enough evidence?! " A soldier said.

" Let's go. " Alice grabs Lumiere and walks out of the circle, but the blood moon soldiers and moonlit elves won't let them off.

Someone then threw a spear behind Alice.

Lumiere immediately let go Alice's hand and blew the spear using Azazel's fan. The wind was so strong that the soldiers was pushed away by it except for Lord Cecil and the blonde elf.

"Hah! So you guys choose to fight huh?! " The arrogant soldier said.

"Who's the one who threw that spear?!" Said Lumiere.

In fact it wasn't an ordinary spear. It was a holy spear! If Lord Alice were to hit by that, he would surely be injured! All of their items have been enchanted. They are really willing to kill Lord Alice here!

Watari was about to release an attack magic from his hands, when Alice suddenly refrained him.

"Watari."

"But don't you think this is a little much my Lord?"Said Watari.

" It's okay. Azazel, don't you dare continue your incantation."

" Damn you're so boring. If only blood moons wasn't here..." Said Azazel.

" If we fight back surely they would flip the scenario and make us the criminal." Said Alice.

"Hah! But aren't you guys?! Or do you want us to make you remember on what happened to the Blood moon's empire?" Fiel said.

Hearing that,Lord Cecil became furious.

"Don't ever mention that incident!" Lord Cecil said with a cold Aura.

"Ah... Yes we are sorry."

Vampires and immortals of Blood moon... What a conflict...

"W... What are you guys waiting?! Shoot them!" Fiel said. The other soldiers were still hesitating.

A knife was thrown towards Alice and sliced his cheeks.

Lord Alice... You won't really fight back? Thought Lumiere.

The knife was followed by others. Spears, arrows and swords went flying towards them.

Azazel, Watari and Lumiere wasn't hit because of the barrier of the veil.

Alice was hit by a sword on his arm but still continue to walking. The soldiers won't also get on their way. None of them has the nerve to attack closely.

The spears and arrows continue to rain. Alice was being hit even more, but despite of that he continues to walk as if nothing was happening.

An arrow pierced on his arms yet still continued walking.

The rain continues and so their walking. But the arrow that pierced on his back was the last thing that hit Alice. Alice looked on the ground and sees that the rain of spears and arrows are still continuing. He was confused on what's happening when he looked back and he saw Lumiere dancing with the blades.

Why put a barrier on us but not on yourself?! Are you an idiot!?

"Lu-... Kitsune! What are you doing?!" Alice said.

"Why call me kitsune?! You're not Lord Azazel." Said Lumiere as he continues to deflect the blades.

"Stop that!" Said Alice as he swayed his hand.

"No! You said we shouldn't hurt them, so I am not hurting them. If I can't use fan then I shall deflect their attack using these blades."
