It's been raining cats and dog, so getting to work today would be difficult especially since I don't have a car. I've been standing at the entrance to my apartment building for the past hour. 


"Hey fact" I turned when I heard Kyle's voice 


"Fact?" I made it a question, the confusion clearly showing in my face. 


"Yes facts. That's what I call you" okayyy 


"Emm, Why will you call me that" I asked with a straight face. 


"Let's see" he placed his hand on his cheek pretending to be thinking and I raised my eyebrow at him. 


"Kyle" I used the tone used for a child about to be scolded. 


" Facts" he raised his eyebrow challenging me. 


Stop it, don't you ever call me facts I don't even like you why do you think I have been avoiding you or why I never called you, cause you are such an irritating human being, that was what I said in my head and what came out from my mouth was 


" Do you know that the human body consists of many interacting systems?" seriously, I face palmed my head. 


"See this is why I call you facts. When you are nervous you say random facts about the human body." That's true I really do say random facts when I'm nervous. 


Ignoring him I turned and see the rain not relenting, I calculated in head how soaked I will be by the time I get to the bus station. I will do anything to get away from this guy. He may be hot but he is so not my type. 


6...5...4....3........2..........2.....1 I stepped into the rain only to be dragged back and I slammed into his chest. 


"Are you alright?, I can see you rather get into the rain to avoid talking to me so I will leave you alone I don't want you to get sick" I couldn't stop staring at his eyes. Hitting him made me realize that we have a connection I couldn't stop staring at his eyes. I noticed he wasn't saying anything anymore and was looking into my eyes. 


"Em..." I tired to think of anything to disrupt this moment but it was too late. we were both lost in each other eyes and was leaning close to each other. I don't know who started the kiss first but I didn't care. I kissed him like my life depended on it. I shivered, how could I be cold when I'm kissing the hottest man here. I opened my eyes, I saw I was standing in the rain alone. There was no Kyle, no passionate kiss, I was just alone. Great I was day dreaming. Might as well go to the bus stop since I was already soaked. 


As soon as I got to the hospital, I rushed to my office and got my bags of extra clothes and ran to the ladies room, I bumped into a man, "Sorry" I shouted but didn't turn back to see who I bumped into. 


I locked the stall and stripped out of my wet clothes I opened my bag and changed. I used the small towel and tried to dry my hair. Packing it in a ponytail. I placed the wet clothes back in the bag, gave it to a nurse to help me use the dryer in the hospital and returned to my office. 


"Doctor Evans, A Mr. Sean Williams was scheduled to see you by 9am but since you were not here and he was in a hurry, Doctor Louis did his test and gave him some drugs, would you like to look at his file to see if you have an adjustment to his treatment" 


"You welcome and least I forget. I made coffee and it's waiting for you on your desk" 


"Did i mention that you are a life saver?" I asked 


"Yes so many times" she replied witha smile, with that she turned and left. 


Sitting in my office I opened the file of Mr. Williams. 


Great what kind of stupid doctor doesn't keep to time?. She is the best in the states, best my ass. 


And ladies and gentlemen a round of applause for another idiotic doctor bumping into me with her wet clothes, I fucking hate hospitals. I really need to get out of the hospital brings so many bad memories making me shiver.
