Warm, shining light wrapped my body in a comfortable embrace. Before I allowed myself to let go of my consciousness, the sentient power hurled more insults into my head.
When I opened my eyes, a pair of different-colored eyes—blue and gray—were staring back at me. Its face was almost buried by thick, soft, white cotton-like fur.
Is it fur?
“Why is an alpaca looking down at me?” I groaned, feeling a slight pain in my neck.
An alpaca?
I sat up and scooted away slightly to get a better look at the alpaca.
It laughed. “How lovely! A new friend! Tea time?”
“Tea? Now?” I asked in confusion. Perhaps I am still delusional from being pushed into a magic portal.
The fluffy thing took out a tray with a complete set of delicate and fine-looking tea cups and a kettle from its thick cotton wool. It is wool, isn't it?
It used its mouth to set the tray on the ground in front of me.
It looked comical, and I couldn't help but remain baffled.
