KNOW YOUR PLACE AND DON'T PASS YOUR BOUNDARY

"What are you yamming on about there, Rob?" Bryan asked, standing up and walking up to his assistant. He had been having a bad feeling since morning, and couldn't figure out what it was about.

The call Rob was on was giving him the chills. He felt it was nothing related to work….like something had happened in his family without his knowledge. "Who's on the phone?" He questioned Robert.

"Ummm, it's just the Butler. Nothing serious Boss." Robert panicked, moving the phone farther away from himself.

"I won't ask you twice to hand the phone over." Bryan stated with one hand in his pocket, and the other stretched out to collect the phone.

Robert fearfully handed the phone over to Bryan, who was fuming and impatient.

Bryan put the phone to his ear and roughly hissed. "Edward, what is going on in my home?" Butler Edward was startled to hear his master's voice. Seems like he would be the sacrificial lamb that night. All the same, he decided to brace himself for the impact of the punishment he would face. He gritted his teeth and spoke slowly.

"The young miss arrived at the mansion a few hours ago and ….." "The bastard did what?!!" Bryan exclaimed, cutting Edward off.

Oh Lord have mercy! First, it was his dim wit secretary, now that bastard dare show up at his door. Who the hell did she think she was?!

It seemed like she had quickly forgotten the lesson he taught her nine years ago. He would gladly refresh her memories once again.

Bryan slammed the phone onto his desk and stomped out of his office into the elevator, leaving a helpless Robert scrambling after him.

"But sir, how about the pending meetings you have now? Hutchings should be pulling up by now." Robert said as he was almost a second late into the elevator.

Bryan was furious and his face was red with anger, annoyance and frustration. He should be an old man, enjoying the benefits of all he had worked for since he was young. But his only son was not interested in the business, and that bastard actually has the audacity to come back to him?

What for?!!! Oh she is sooo done for.

He stepped out of the elevator and walked up to his May Bach with Robert in tow. "To the mansion now!" He hissed and slammed the car door shut.

The driver, Charles was so scared that he almost had a heart attack. "Yes sir." Charles hurriedly started the car and sped off to the mansion. He didn't know that could have occurred, that made his Boss so angry, to the extent of slamming the door. 'The boss had never done that before.' Charles thought. 'Maybe Madam Tracy spent almost a fortune on some new jewelry' he chuckled inwardly. He had no idea it was far worse than his boss' company going to shambles.

Coming to a screeching halt at the mansion, Bryan rushed out of the car and walked briskly into the house. All the servants greeted him. "Welcome sir" they chorused. But he didn't even behave as though anyone of them existed.

Robert walked behind him with his briefcase as he was terrified of what would happen. He honestly did not think Bryan was taking the right approach, as Scarlett was no longer the timid, shy girl. Obviously, she had grown up, and so her actions would be more mature and fiercer.

But he kept mute, as his tongue would go for it, even if he sneezed.

"Welcome, Master." Butler Edward greeted, as he collected Bryan's coat.

"Don't welcome me. Where is that idiot?!" Bryan thundered.

"Master, you have to take it easy. Stressing is really bad for your health" Edward said concerned. Bryan had gotten more upset, seeing that the Butler was trying to stall.

"What would be bad is you not getting out of my way and show me the fool!" He barked in utter frustration.

Tracy, Scarlett and Rowan who had just filled their bellies, and patting their food bumps while chatting in the living room, overheard some commotion at the door.

"What is all that noise about?" Scarlett scrunched her nose as she stood up, walking towards the door. Tracy and Rowan followed too, as they couldn't understand what was going on.

Scarlett saw Butler Edward talking to a man with a somewhat familiar figure, and a frightened bunny standing off to the side with his forehead beading with sweat, even in the air conditioned environment. "Mr. Edward, what is going on here? There's a lot of noise."

She stated with a frown sitting contentedly on her face.

The three men at the door, turned to look at her. They each had unique expressions on their faces.

Edward was startled, Robert drooled unconsciously. But Bryan...…

He was surprised on seeing his daughter. She was tall and completely irresistible...not that he was starting to get other thoughts, but…

Her black and long hair made her seem like a bold angel. Although her foxy eyes were fierce, and her plump pink lips were scrunched up in disgust, she really did seem like a goddess. One that commanded respect and was to be obeyed. One that he lost a long time ago, and would never get back.

"What do you think you're doing? Showing up here in my house unannounced. Who do you think you are?!" He aggressively pointed at her. The anger in him had risen dangerously. Tracy and Rowan were standing at the side, watching Bryan go crazy on his own daughter.

Scarlett stood there, hands across her chest, looking at the man she wished was not her father. "Good evening, Mr. Bryan. Long time no see. I believe this is not the display the chairman of a multi-million dollar company should display." She sneered.

"Anyways, I have no business with you. I came for my mother and beloved brother. Plus, I didn't just show up here unannounced.

I called mom before-hand.

And if I remember correctly…..this is technically her house. Grandfather paid for 78% of the house. I believe you know your place and don't cross your boundaries with me." She added.

"Because now that I'm back….." she moved closer to Bryan "You would pay for every single act of wickedness you've shown me. Don't think your secrets are well hidden." She whispered ever so quietly but sharp and clear in his ears.

Every kind of negative emotion was boiling inside Bryan like a volcano. He couldn't believe his daughter would speak to him in such an unruly and outrageously disrespectful manner. He was beyond utter shock. This was simply unacceptable for him.

"Miss, could you kindly not talk to our chairman like that. He…"

"Your chairman indeed, not mine" Scarlett cut Robert off.

"It seems you need to be taught to keep your mouth shut when you're not invited into matters that don't concern you." She sharply said, eyeing Robert from head to toe.

Robert shrunk back, wiping beads of sweat off his forehead. He was not expecting this young lazy to be so brazen.

"Look here, if you think you have so much power now that you are older, you lie. Remember I raised to be what you are now. You absolutely have no right to speak to me like I'm nobody!" Bryan snapped out of his shock and spoke up.

Scarlett burst out in laughter, mocking her father's self-dignifying speech. "You raised me to be what I am you say? The girl you knew is different from the lady who is grown up right now. You had a princess but you threw her out to the hungry wolves, and now she's dead."

Scarlett's eyed gleamed with wicked delight as she spoke. "The lady standing before you is a demon in form of your daughter, ready to rip your pretentious mask off and torment you to the ends of the earth." She declared with a subtle yet frightening whisper.

Tracy was so shocked at what was going on. She had never heard the story behind her daughter's sudden eviction. Everyone refused to tell her anything. Now she had to witness her husband and daughter in a verbal stand-off. "What is going on here Bryan?" Tracy asked in dreadful awe and astonishment. "Why are you both talking to each other strangely and so fierce like you want to rip yourselves apart?"

"Mom I have to go now, I'm sure Dad can explain to you." She said.

Then she left for the living room to pick up her purse and came back to the door. She went up to her mom and brother, engulfing them in a huge hug. "I'll be sure to hang out with you guys another day" She mumbled pleasantly, kissing them both.

Bryan stood still, his face mortified with fear and anger.

How much did this bastard know exactly?

Scarlett walked past her father with a sickly wicked smile on her face.

Once she got past the door, she called out, "Say hello to Amelia for me."

She got into her car and zoomed off.

Bryan screamed and kicked the flower vase by the door, the poor vase shattered. "How dare she threaten me? That unfilial bastard!!"
