ALL BY HIMSELF

Laine was lucky she was a girl, if not, he would have given her face a punch or two.

"Grandma. Why would you be worried?

I'm just really occupied with work. I don't have any spare time to socialize talk less of getting together with a girl.

I promise you, once I am done with this project at work, I'll bring a girl home." He assured his grandmother, rubbing her palm in between his.

"Brother are you sure? I hope it's not a fake girlfriend you're going to bring to us?" Laine taunted him.

"Okay okay that's enough! Not one more word from you, young lady."

Eric glared at Laine before she said too much.

"Since you have assured us, we'll take it.

Don't go back on your words, son." Eric said to Ethan.

"I won't Dad." He replied his father.

Elaine clapped her hands excitedly. "Alright then. Since Ethan has promised us, let us look forward to our future daughter-in law.

I can't wait!" She squealed happily.

Everyone was at ease at Ethan's promise.
