 Ari got annoyed all over again hearing Leo say those words again and again. It hurt her to hear it that even though she was about to let go she couldn't contain her anger any longer. "Don't keep saying you would have rushed over if I had called just once... Okay?" she said, her voice rising. "I should have called you? Really? What happened to you calling to check up on me? Oh, I get it... you were so busy balancing your personal life and career that you forgot that you had to reach out to me." 


Leo stood there, stunned and speechless, as Ari's words struck him like blows. He opened his mouth to speak, but she cut him off, her voice trembling with emotion. "When you're done balancing it, you can reach out to me. Bye."
