The truth about Emily.

Owen looked at Ryu's back with a smirk on her face.

' so rude.' She thought.

" Owen " Mike called her from behind.She turned around as she asked" who is he ?".

" He is one of men ." Mike lied through his teeth.

" Oh, so what do you want to discuss about your good for nothing sister." Owen asked.

" Ouch... She's also your sister." Mike held his chest as he told Owen.

" Step-sister. And also you speak like you even like her when you hate Emily." Owen said .

" I don't hate her." Mike said.

" Really." Owen.

" Yep... Why will I hate my sister? And also we need to talk." Mike.

" I know, why do you think am here?" Owen asked." Is this your house?."

" Yep." Mike lied with a foolish smile on his face.

" Are you lying?" Owen asked.

" Nope" Mike answered." Let's go." He laid the way.

He took her to a room which looks like a bar. Ryu was inside drinking, when they stepped in his eyes met hers.

' He has such an amazing eyes' she thought. ' Owen, what are you thinking? This was the guy who left you stranded just a minute ago.' She avoided his eyes.

" When are you going to stop drinking?" Mike scolded as he dragged the bottle of Whiskey from Ryu's hand.

" Says the guy who sleeps in on alcohol." Ryu mocked. Owen could swear that he was looking at her, but she bowed her head down as a coward.

"..." Mike was lost of words, was Ryu trying to humiliate him in front of Owen. But as for Owen, she wasn't even thinking about what Ryu had just said. All she was thinking about ' is do not look at him?' she will scold her self if she ever thought of raising her head.

" Didn't you want to discuss about something?" Ryu asked Mike lefting his gaze off Owen. Making her to sigh in relive.

" Oh, yes." Mike then turned serious as he said " Owen, have a sit." He gestured for her to sit down which she did.

" Okay, what I am about to say will shock you and you meant not believe me." Mike told her.

" Yeah"

" But I want you to know that what I am about to say is nothing but the truth." Mike said.

" Go on." Owen responded.

" Emily doesn't like you." Mike said waiting to see her reaction but she just looked at him as she said " Wow... I didn't even notice, I am so shocked."

" Hey, what's up with the fake shock face?" Mike frowned.

" I tryed to pretend but couldn't." Owen replied.

" Okay... At least make it sound a little more shocked." Mike asked.

" Arrghhh!!! Okay." Owen said." Oh no, I am so shocked. Emily hates me, but why? I have been so good to her."

" Now, that's the expression. And also she's a killer and a psychopath." Mike said very fast.

" Okayyy...slow down. You just said that Emily is a killer and a psychopath." Owen was now shocked, Yes she knows that Emily is a lier and also a kidnapper. But she never thought that she could kill, Yeah, right kidnappers do kill. Emily looks too much of an angel to kill or be a psychopath.

What if Mike was lying? Oh come on Owen, between Mike and Emily. Which one do you trust the most, Basically none of them. But she could manage Mike for now.

" You do not believe me, do you?" Mike asked breaking the chain.

" Huh." Owen muttered " oh yeah...of course, i believe you. Between you and Emily, who do you think I trust the most?"

" Of course, it's me." Mike said with a smile.

" Yeah...yeah. What ever you just said?" Owen told him as she was busy thinking of what he just said.

" What Mike is trying to say is that. Your good for nothing sister is a mental Ill person, who they just trained for nothing." Ryu said.

Owen looked at him as she thought ' oh my gosh, this guy gets me. He isn't like any other man or boy, he is smart. But I am sure that he's very ugly.'

" Hey, Emily is my younger sister. Will you guys stop calling her a good for nothing human being."Mike lamented.

" He is right, Emily is a good for nothing human being. She had called me a little brat and a good for nothing, first so me insulting her doesn't make any difference." Owen said making Ryu to look at her as he asked " She had insulted you."

" Yes, ahhh. At that moment I wanted to...just..." She demonstrated with her hand.

" Hey, clam down." Mike said.

" What else did she say?" Ryu asked with a mysterious glint in his eyes.

" Well, I don't know. But I am sure, she had insulted me the more." Owen answered.

Mike was quite before he started listing some insults.

Little brat and

a good for nothing human being."

"..." Owen was speechless as she looked at Mike who was avoiding her eyes.

" Anything else." Ryu said through clenched teeths.

" Does are the only ones I know. Why are you asking anyways?" Mike looked at Ryu who just gave a smile before he walked away.

" What's up with him?" Owen asked.

" I don't know... Okay, back to Emily. I need you to keep a very close eye on her, I want to know her every move; where she goes?

Who she meets?

And when she comes back from where ever she goes to?" Mike said.

" Ohhhh...who do think I am?" Owen asked furious " I am not one of your men. Who you order around?"

" What did I say wrong? I am your elder brother I can give you orders." Mike was confused.

" Point of correction, you are my step- brother. And I don't trust you that much." Owen stood up and was about to leave but was stopped by Mike. Who now understand the problem?

" Okay, I am sorry. I won't order you around and also if you do not trust me now when will you?"Mike asked.

" When Emily kills you or your mother?"

" She's planning to kill me and my mother." Owen exclaimed shocked.

" Yeah, why do you think she's coming to stay with you and mom 2."Mike said.

" I don't believe it. Why does she hate me so much?"

" Sit and let me explain everything from the beginning." Mike made her to sit down.

" Emily is jealous of you..."

" Jealous of me, why?"

" Shhh... Listen. It's because dad's loves you more then everybody at home, he talks about you and mom 2. Every single seconds, we were even getting tired of your story, he compares you to everybody in the house. He always praise you, but there was one thing which dad never told us." Mike explained.

" What was that?" Owen asked.

" You being an agent." Mike answered" He never told us. Now I know why?"

" Why?"

" Because he knew how jealous she was" Mike replied.

" So what you are trying to say is that Mr Flin loves my mom and me, which he betrayed with your mother?" Owen asked .

" Yep, if you like to put it that way." Mike replied.

Owen lowered her head as her eyes turned instantly cold.

" Do you know ridiculous you sound right now?" She asked coldly making Mike to frown as he wondered' what's With the sudden change of attitude?'

Owen was now getting annoyed as she asked coldly making Mike to look more surprised" what can't speak...cat caught your tongue?" She waited for his response but didn't get one, she was disappointed" That's what I thought" With that she was about to leave but was stopped by Mike.

" I know it was because of my mother your family got separated. But Owen look at the situation they were in and you won't blame them, she wasn't the only one at fault!" Mike said.

" I don't care who is at fault... All that matters is bringing the family back together again. But it seems like that mother and stupid sister of yours doesn't wants that to happen..." Owen paused for a while before continuing" All they want now is the inheritance of Mr Flin's Properties. You know too well that I am not interested in that,so warn that idoitecy of human being to leave my life alone or else she will regret it." With that she walked away lazily.

Ryu was outside leaning on the car waiting for her, he was still wearing that mask from earlier. His head tilted backward, his white skin opposing from beneath his chin. His eyes were closed, it was breathe taking as the wind blew it scattered his perfect hair.

Which was combed perfectly fine before, Owen was at awe when she saw this scenario but she hide her emotions as she walked up to the car and was about to tap him.

Ryu opened his eyes suddenly, lifting his head up to look at her face. It had caught Owen off guard.

" Enter the car, I will drop you off at the house."

" What house?"

" The house I prepared for you."

"..."

He had prepared a house for her , with out her consent. She wasn't planning to stay here for long. She just wants to see... But still she has already paid for the hotel room bill.

As if reading her mind Ryu said" you don't have to worry about the hotel. They will refund you your money back by tomorrow."

"..."

This man is so arrogant.

There was an awkward silence in the car, the car was moving fast. Owen felt uncomfortable, she finally summoned the courage to ask.

" What is your name?"

But was ignored, feeling disappointed. Owen looked outside. Ryu rested his head on his hand .

Few hours later , he said " Ryu."

" Huh" Owen muttered confused.

" My name is Ryu Norman." Ryu repeated.

" Norman?!" Owen exclaimed surprised.

" Yeah ...so" Ryu yawned looking tried.

" Are you from the..."

" I am not from the Norman family you are thinking of." He cut her off.

" What's your name, Miss Flin." He asked.

" Zaporah Owen James, not Flin" Owen corrected.

" Zaporah" he gave a low chuckle" what a cute name"

Owen looked at Ryu but immediately looked away when she found him staring back at her, she pretended to be looking outside the window mesmerised by the buildings which now looked old to her.

Her mother had brought her here. To this city two years ago, it was during the Christmas break. After that month her mother promised to bring her back here every single Christmas holiday. There was a pin drop slience in car, Owen didn't dare to speak not ask any questions.

But Ryu didn't like it, so he finally break this curse of quietness.

" Why didn't you believe Mike?" He asked making Owen to look at him before she answered " it's not like I don't believe him, it is just that..."

" What?... you walked out on your Elder brother." Ryu cut her off.

" Step- brother"Owen corrected.

" Even though, you should had just listened to him you made him feel so bad." Ryu scolded her gently.

Owen lowered her head as she thought ' why is he suddenly so nice to me?'

" Okay... but I won't believe the fact that Ben still loves me andy mom, I won't believe." Owen Said.

" why do you hate your father so much?" Ryu asked.

" He is not my father!" Owen snapped immediately." and why do care anyways."

" Cause am your personal guard. And I am meant to protect you, so I need to know a little about you." Ryu answered calmly.

" You my personal guard!" Owen laughed.

" Yep." still calm

" Who made you my personal guard?" Owen asked.

" Mike" he answered.

" Huh... good for him." Owen said.

" See, I am not only your personal guard but your nanny so you have the right to trouble me when ever you want." Ryu said which made Owen to smile wickedly in her heart as she said " Okay"

Robin was walking out of the institute when he was cornered by Sarah. He narrowed his eyes at the sight of her.

" Why do you want?" he asked irritated.

" Just wanted to say..." Sarah paused for a moment as she looked at his face.

" What?" he

asked.

" I like you."
