There was once a beautiful villainess who lived in the infamous Kingdom of Dread. Hespchateus was the kingdom's name. Her goal was to kill and destroy the ruler's only heir to the throne, Crown Prince Hearn. For he had killed her only loved one. Her plan was to break into the Crown Prince's Coronation and shoot his head with a flaming arrow.
2 days before the Crowned Prince's Coronation, she unfortunately passed away due to drowning in the infamous Hespchateus's lake, Lake Rhien. There were rumours speculating her sudden passing. Was she murdered? Was it an accident? Or was it perhaps planned? Many people wondered how she died, but then a couple of days after her death, they had
forgotten all about it.
Suddenly, a strange mulberry shimmering light was found underneath the clear waters of Lake Rhien. Her somehow incorruptible corpse ascended into the sky and was never to be seen again. A couple of days after her ascension, she woke up in a whole new timeline.
There were buildings, smoke caused by powerhouses, cars, and vendors everywhere. She woke up in a billion-dollar penthouse and rubbed her eyes. She then said, "Bloody, is this marble flooring and walling?" She said, amazed.
Then her door suddenly opened, and an old man entered her room. "Good morning, Ms. Eia, I have here your favourite breakfast." He handed her a plate of avocado toast, a cup of lukewarm espresso, and a bowl of grapes.
"Who art thou?!" The butler looked at her confused. "Excuse me?" She replied, "Oh, I'm sorry; I must've been possessed by Shakespeare." The old man smiled and chuckled warmly, "You study too much, Ms. Eia." the butler replied, then went on his way.
Eia ate her breakfast happily when her phone had a notification. "Hm?" She hummed before grabbing her phone and checking the notifications. She saw a news article about her dating rumour with, wait.. He looks familiar.
"Vincent Hearn?! "she yelled loudly; her maid came rushing to her room. "W-what?" Eia showed her a picture of the reincarnation of Vincent.
"This man. What is his name?" The maid giggled softly. "Miss, that is your business partner, Victor Aire. Not the 26th King of Hespchateus."
"Are you sure?" Her maid nodded and then went on her way. *'Wait.. 26th King?!'* She said in her mind. A few hours later, she went to her company, Luxuriem. Wearing a professional suit, everyone except one person complimented her.
That person was, of course, Victor. Victor and her always had a love-hate relationship before the villainess was reincarnated into Eia. "You look the same, Eiabird. Nothing has changed." He scoffed. "Oh really, Vin- Victor? That suit doesn't even *suit* you." She replied with a tinge of sarcasm and snarkiness. "You and that sharp *but pretty* mouth of yours." he said, saying the words "but pretty" under his breath, but still a little annoyed at Eia. "You're a waste of *Aire*." She spat back sassily, "Are we going to have this meeting or not?" He said through gritted teeth, almost damaging his pearly whites. "We absolutely are." Said Eia, winking, before they entered the conference room.
After the meeting, they both went for coffee. "What would you— Good Heavens! Ms. Evangeline. I am a big, big fan!"
said the cashier. "Awe, thank you! You look very pretty," said Eia with a soft smile. "I'm honoured, miss." The cashier almost teared up.
They got their drinks, then started a mini-meeting at the café. "So I was thinking... How about we..." she said before getting interrupted.
"I sense a strange feeling of dread coming this way.." a random stranger said before– They went silent for a few minutes until...
*The* Malicia Vixen entered the store! The people imagined Vixen Sweetie to be sweet, kind, and charming, like in her movies, but her last name totally described her whole being as a law-abiding individual.
(But is she really one?)
Malicia Vixen, known famously as Vixen Sweetie, threw her shades and smashed her designer bag into her assistant's arms. "She's kind of rude, not gonna lie," said Victor. "Indeed, we finally agree on something for once."
Viola overheard their conversation about her and rolled her eyes. "Well, at least I wear real designer clothes." She scoffed. Eia almost spilt her coffee. "Excuse me?" she said, offended. "You heard me. I can smell fake designer clothes from a mile away." Malicia had Eia's blood boiling hot, but she didn't want to make a scene. "For your information, this is actually real." Eia replied slightly polite, "Pfft, you are a nobody compared to me."
Malicia bragged confidently. Eia was about to show her who was boss when Victor stepped in.
"My, my, Ms. Sweetie! You smell very delightful; may I ask of the brand of perfume you are using today?" Eia was confused by Victor's sudden compliment when she realised that she was using her perfume. "I'm actually using the superb rose gold-scented perfume from Luxuriem! Made by the CEO herself~"
Eia snorts, "Do you know the CEO in person?" Eia asked with a newfound sense of boldness. "Of course! I am Vixen Sweetie, after all."
"What does she look like then, considering she keeps her face private." Viola hesitated then stuttered, "Well, uhm.. She has brown hair and hazel eyes!"
"I don't think I have ever dyed my hair brown." Viola's eyes widened. "W-wait... You're Ms. Evangeline?!" "Maybe?" she said while smirking. The woman got what she deserved and quickly got on her knees and asked for forgiveness; Eia rejected her plea, leaving Malicia humiliated for life!
"Why won't you accept my apology!?" said Malicia furiously. "Because I don't want to." Eia said with smugness. Malicia ran away in tears with her assistant. Eia laughed hestrically. "That was a little overboard, but I tip my hat to you, m'lady." said Victor in his husky and sensual voice. "In my belief, she deserved the humiliation." Eia spat back with attitude; slightly flustered at Victor's change of tone.
