I Will Protect Brother Ye Tian

The violent winds on the sea howled, making the clothes of the pirate leaders flutter noisily, and the cold was bone-chilling.

Coral's arrival made the hearts of the pirate leaders suddenly grow cold as well.

This coldness came from the deep fear of being watched by a murderous intent—far more terrifying than the sea wind.

Who in the East Sea did not know that the infamous pirate Coral was a ruthless killer?

Encountering Coral and merely losing an arm or leg was already considered a stroke of luck.

For many of the pirate leaders, this was their first time meeting Coral.

Contrary to his fearsome reputation, Coral, who bore a scar on his face, could even be described as somewhat handsome.

However, the murderous aura that emanated from him overshadowed all his other features.

No one dared to look directly at him.

Among the pirates stood Zi Zhenzhu, silently observing Coral with dissatisfaction in her heart.

It was clear that Coral had summoned these pirates for a sinister purpose.

Most likely, they were to be used as pawns in Coral's pirate crew to fight the Li family.

Zi Zhenzhu's pirate group had always committed themselves to robbing the rich and aiding the poor, targeting corrupt wealthy people and truly helping those in need.

Attacking the Li family would go against the original purpose of the Zi Zhenzhu Pirate Group.

However, Coral's pirate crew's call to arms was one they could not refuse.

Coral was infamous for his cruelty, and those who dared to defy him faced only a brutal death.

Though Zi Zhenzhu herself had no family and feared no threats, most of her subordinates had families.

More importantly, over the years, her crew had taken in many refugees from the mainland who had nowhere else to go.

These refugees and the families of her subordinates lived on several islands in the East Sea.

If she refused Coral's demands, those on the islands might not escape a gruesome fate.

After much deliberation, Zi Zhenzhu ultimately decided to comply.

In front of her, Coral, his face scarred, spoke slowly:

"We're about to enter the waters of the Li family's Golden Turtle Island. I don't want to see any infighting or attempts to protect yourselves at this critical juncture."

Though his voice was calm, the coldness in his words struck fear into the hearts of the pirates.

Coral's sharp eyes gazed towards Golden Turtle Island.

Then, raising his head to look at the gloomy sky, he continued, "The typhoon is coming soon."

"So, if we can't take Golden Turtle Island today, we'll all feed the fish together."

At those words, the pirates were struck silent with fear.

They had been at sea long enough to recognize the signs of an impending typhoon.

At first, they thought Coral had been reckless, not checking the weather before setting out.

Now, it seemed Coral was planning a desperate, do-or-die battle!

The pirates immediately became tense.

Either they successfully attacked the Li family today, or they would die trying.

In the crowd, Zi Zhenzhu, hearing Coral's words, was secretly shocked.

She hadn't expected Coral to be so ruthless, using the typhoon to force them to launch an all-out assault on Golden Turtle Island.

Golden Turtle Island was the only place nearby to take shelter from the storm.

If they failed to capture it, the chances of perishing in the violent winds and rain were high!

"Return to your ships and command your fleets. Follow my orders!"

Coral didn't say much more, simply waving his hand for everyone to return to their pirate ships.

"What a joke! You think we can take down the Li family in a single day?"

At this moment, a red-clad pirate captain grumbled in dissatisfaction.

To him, Coral's command was nothing short of reckless.

Who fights in a typhoon?

What an idiot.

He looked around at the others and said with disdain, "You can all do as you please. I don't care for the Li family's wealth. Goodbye!"

With that, he turned and walked away.

Seeing such a bold pirate captain, the others were shocked and began whispering among themselves.

"Is he crazy? Daring to challenge Coral?"

"Is this guy really that tough?"

"He's done for, that's for sure."

The crowd sighed, though many of them were secretly gloating.

A pirate leader, a friend of the red-clad captain, stepped forward and quietly tried to persuade him:

"The Li family's strongest patriarch has already been poisoned and can't wake up. With so many of us, it's not impossible to take Golden Turtle Island."

"Hurry and apologize to Coral. Maybe you'll still have a chance to live."

The red-clad captain sneered, his soul power surging:

"I'm an 83rd-level Soul Douluo! There's no way that damn Coral can do anything to me—ugh! Pfft!"

Before he could finish speaking, the red-clad captain clutched his throat, unable to speak.

His eyes widened as he looked down to see a spear piercing through his neck.

At the other end of the spear stood Coral.

Having killed the red-clad captain, Coral acted as if nothing had happened, calmly retracting his spear spirit.

He glanced indifferently at the crowd:

"Does anyone else have objections?"

The pirates were stunned.

They had all been watching Coral closely, expecting him to strike.

Yet, even under such scrutiny, no one saw Coral make his move.

By the time they could see clearly, the red-clad captain's throat had already been pierced.

This level of power was beyond what an ordinary Titled Douluo could achieve.

The pirates felt a chill in their hearts but were filled with relief.

They were thankful they hadn't defied Coral.

Otherwise, they wouldn't even know how they had died.

Still standing on the deck, Zi Zhenzhu watched this scene unfold, her heart growing heavier.

She hadn't expected Coral to be this powerful.

This was far beyond what an ordinary Titled Douluo was capable of.

Could the poor Li family survive this joint attack?

As the pirates made their final preparations, the Li family's defenses were also being readied.

Half a year ago, when Li Haitian was first poisoned, he had anticipated a potential pirate attack on the family.

As a result, the Li family had stockpiled a large number of military-grade ballistae and other long-range weapons.

The entrance to the port of Golden Turtle Island had been blocked off with iron anchors and old fishing nets to prevent a surprise pirate attack.

Ye Tian, carrying a basket of fish, returned to the Li family castle with Hu Liena.

Upon hearing this, Li Haitian personally came out to greet them.

With a solemn expression, Li Haitian slightly bowed to Ye Tian.

"With the pirates attacking, for your safety, we must ask you to temporarily stay in the underground chamber."

"No need. I have full confidence in your family's defenses," Ye Tian replied, his face showing no sign of concern as he waved his hand casually.

"But..."

Li Haitian smiled bitterly.

Ye Tian might trust him, but he didn't trust himself.

After all, the attackers were none other than the notorious Coral Pirates.

Even in its prime, the Li family wouldn't dare confront Coral head-on.

Now that the pirates had joined forces to attack Golden Turtle Island, and with his own strength not fully restored,

it was uncertain whether the Li family could survive this crisis.

Li Jiuchuan stepped forward and, with an apologetic look, said to Ye Tian:

"Young Master Ye Tian, having you trapped in this situation already brings us great shame. If anything happens to you, our Li family wouldn't be able to bear the responsibility."

"It's fine. I'll protect Brother Ye Tian, and nothing will happen," Hu Liena interjected earnestly.

On their way back, she had already signaled the wandering patrol of Spirit Hall in the distance.

If the pirates dared to attack, they would surely meet their end.
