The Day the World Stopped

Jake was never one to keep a diary, but today he found reason enough.

While riding the subway the ground ahead collapsed killing all but the occupants of the last car, upon reaching the surface Jake discovers a horrifying truth. The surface has been torn apart, but stranger than, that the sun has stopped moving and is staying stock still in the sky, but is that truly the end of it?
