When Captain Aria, a decorated soldier medic, is killed in battle, her death is only the beginning. However, death had other plans as Aria got  thrown through time and space to the year 2178—a future far darker than anything she could have imagined.

She awakens to a wasteland where the Earth has been ravaged by nuclear war and ecological collapse. The once familiar cities are now skeletal ruins, the skies are choked with toxic haze and ashes. Nature has twisted into something dangerous, as mutated insects and other monstrous creatures roam what was left of the land.

 Humanity was on the brink of extinction, with only a handful of scattered survivors clinging to life.

As Aria struggles with the harsh reality of this new world, she must confront her own vulnerability. No longer the invincible soldier she once was, Aria is haunted by memories of her past life and the friends she lost. But her instincts for survival refuse to let her give up. She uses her skills as a soldier and medic to navigate this brutal environment, slowly gaining the trust of the survivors she meets.

REBORN IN RUINS: Survival in an Apocalypse

"What is it?" Aria whispered, her voice barely audible, she scanned the horizon with a mix of curiosity and anticipation.

She couldn't see anything, but that rustling sound was sending shivers down her spine.

Ryan's eyes remained fixed, his expression tense and his jaw clenched.

"I don't know," he whispered back, his eyes narrowing in concentration.

Just as they held their breath, a fluffy rabbit walked out from the bush, its little paws twitching.

Aria exhaled, relief washing over her like a soothing balm. "A rabbit?" she whispered, amusement dancing in her voice as she gazed at the rabbit's big, beautiful eyes. She couldn't help but awwn at its adorable twitching nose.

Although Ryan was seeing the rabbit, he remained tense, his eyes scanning the rabbit, ensuring it was harmless.

"Let's not drop our guard," Ryan whispered to Aria cautious.
