"He's here so early."
"He's crazy. Why is he sitting there?"
"Don't be noisy. Let's see what happens later."
Emrys was puzzled by their whispers. Soon, a woman entered the room. She was wearing the same uniform as them, except her skirt was a little shorter. She was wearing knee-high black socks and black sandal shoes.
She had black hair in a ponytail, with a few strands of long hair covering her eyes, which had long eyelashes.
She had a calm expression, and every student she passed bowed to her.
She was like a queen in this room. And it was clear that all the men present were attracted to her.
Until the woman stopped beside Emrys' seat. "That's my seat." She spoke in a cold tone.
Emrys seemed embarrassed and stood up. This was what the whispers he had heard earlier meant.
When Emrys left, the woman sat in his seat.
There was an empty seat next to her at the same table, but Emrys was too embarrassed to sit next to her, so he decided to look for another one.
"Where are you going?"
Many people were shocked when the young woman spoke again. Emrys stopped walking and turned to her, pointing at himself in a calm tone. "Are you talking to me?"
"Hey! Show some respect! Don't you know? She's a princess! Princess Elise of the Li Kingdom." A standing man yelled at him. It was obvious he was trying to impress by doing this. But to be honest, it was also my fault that she was angry.
So, when I realized that, I immediately faced the young woman named Hazelle and bowed. "I'm sorry. I didn't recognize you right away."
I noticed that she let out a sigh and averted her gaze, resting her elbow on the table. It seemed like she was angry with me.
"Sit down." She said softly.
"No, I'll just look for--"
"Good morning everyone, take your seats. You there. What's your name?" A male teacher entered their class. He immediately noticed Emrys standing there.
"Good morning, sir. My name is Emrys Valestron."
"Valestron, my name is Gary. A 6th Grade Dragon and your first teacher for today. Take a seat."
Emrys scratched the back of his neck, causing Gary to frown. "There are no empty seats here except the one near you. Princess Elise, didn't you allow him?"
Because of that, the young woman glared at Emrys in annoyance. "I just told him." She couldn't take her eyes off the young man. Her face was clearly annoyed, so Emrys quickly sat next to the princess.
Everyone's necks were almost broken from staring at them. Some were clearly envious and angry at the young man. They had all been dreaming of this for so long, but a nobody like Emrys had gotten ahead of them. They could hardly believe it if they weren't seeing it with their own eyes.
Even Sai, Loan, and Eris, along with the other new students who were witnessing this, couldn't believe it.
Gary cleared his throat and began his lesson.
He explained the basic knowledge about the ranks that cultivators could reach and how it was based on each person's level.
"As you may already know, there are nine levels that every adventurer in the world of cultivation must reach and surpass. First, the Stage Rat. This is the basis for the first awakening of the energy in the center of each of our Spiritual Cores. For each stage, we need to surpass nine grades or levels to enter a new Stage in our Spiritual Level.
"This means we only need to surpass from 1st to 9th Grade before we advance to the next Stage. Following the Stage Rat, we will advance to the Stage Cat. From there, we will repeat the process of surpassing nine grades before advancing to the Stage Wolf. From there, to Serpent, and Falcon. Once we reach the sixth level, which is none other than the Stage Dragon, this is where the real hardships of a cultivator begin.
"Why? Because starting from the Stage Dragon, you will endure hundreds of hardships just to advance your rank. It's no longer easy to surpass at this point. If you don't use powerful cultivation stones or if your body can't handle it, it will take you many years to advance even one Grade from the Dragon level."
One of the students in the room raised their hand. The teacher had them stand up. "I heard that when you reach the Dragon Stage of cultivation, your status will also increase. Is that true?"
Gary smiled. "Good question. I forgot to mention the remaining four stages from six to nine. From the Dragon stage, you're right, your status and how everyone views you will increase, to the point where everyone will fear you. You will not only be known as a Dragon Ranked Cultivator, but you will also be called a Destroyer Rank Adventurer.
"When you advance and reach the seventh level, which is none other than the Stage Tempest, you will be called a Disaster Rank Adventurer. At the eighth level, it's the Stage Celestial, where you can be called a Lord Rank Adventurer. And finally, the Stage Eternal, where you will be known in the world as a High Lord Rank Adventurer. It's easy to say, but incredibly difficult to achieve. And once you reach that level, you will be given the right to meet the six Elder Lords who will grant you all your desires. Your dreams will come true. Wealth, power. Land or even a kingdom. A world you can rule for yourself. A world where you are the god and have no equal. That's the incredible privilege bestowed upon us, as cultivators in this world."
