From Sparring to So Long

As Lucian landed on the ground with a confident smile, the sand had just finished falling, Amara's face was frozen in time with a shocked expression as she didn't expect Lucian to use such a tactic.

Lucian then stood up from the ground and said to Amara.

"How was that?" Lucian spoke with a cheeky smile.

Amara snapped out of her thoughts and turned towards Lucian, who was standing in a very confident position with both his hands on the hip.

"Bet you didn't think I would do that." Lucian seemed proud of his plan succeeding.

Amara was surprised at first but knowing how Lucian was she quickly went back to normal.

"You could say that I was taken aback a bit but that is to be expected from someone like you, but how did you think of such a plan?" Amara asked curiously.

"Well I wouldn't have been able to land a hit by just going for a direct attack, so I had to make it a sneak attack or a surprise attack for me to catch you off guard so I did."

"I used mana until I was nearly exhausted but knowingly didn't use fire element to later surprise you with it, but I still knew that wouldn't be enough and that I needed something more explosive which could hide both my physical and mana tracks so after nearly exhausted myself of mana and betting everything on the final three moves which were to create a massive fire wall to hide myself and my mana tracks then close the gap by jumping through the fire and catch you off guard by releasing all my mana in a single attack." Lucian spoke proudly.

"So you exhausted nearly all your mana?" Amara asked with concern.

"Yup and I don't feel so good, I might have to sit down for a bit." But rather than sitting Lucian fell on his back to the ground, Amara quickly went to treat him of his exhaustion and gave him some of her own mana and not even in a minute he was back to good as new, while Amara was injecting mana in him Lucian also felt a similar feeling to that of mana channeling.

"Was that just now mana channeling?" Lucian asked curiously.

"Seems you know about channeling, Yes I just used channeling to transfer mana into your body."

'So channeling also has that kind of use hmm…. Interesting' with this new information Lucian found himself even more curious of channeling now.

"Can you explain to me how I can also learn channeling more efficiently?"

"Have you tried using channeling before?" Amara asked Lucian.

"Yeah… but it didn't go too well for me."

"You probably hurt yourself didn't you?"

"How do you know that?" Lucian was surprised and wondered if Gideon had told her about the accident.

"It's pretty common for people without any knowledge of channeling to nearly push themselves to death."

"Really, if that's true then can you tell me about the right way to channel mana?" Lucian asked sincerely.

"Sadly no, it's not possible to just learn it in a day or with just theories, you need to have actual training." It seemed like Amara wanted to help but she could in this case.

"So there noting you can tell me to make the process easier?"

"Well… there are things that Professor Hilda Herta told me while training."

"Really, Like what?"

"I remember her telling me that the first step to mana channeling is to move with the mana not ahead or behind it and to never force it to move."

'Moving with the mana huh, that's similar to Gideon's note to let the mana guide yiu and not the opposite, well I guess in the end I have to do it again but at least this time I have a little more knowledge about it.' Even though he wasn't given a simple answer Lucian was still grateful for Amaras help.

"I am Thankful to big sister for both sparring with me and giving me this information."

"And your big sister is always happy to help, so if you ever need help write a letter to your sister and she will be with you in no time." She said with a happy smile.

That Afternoon Amara met with my parents made some conversation and then began her journey back to the academy, while she was leaving there were many family's that had come to bid her farewell, Amara waved goodbye to everyone.

"DON'T WORRY EVERYONE I WILL BE BACK SOON AND LUCIAN KEEP TRAINING OK." Amara shouted.

"I WILL AND ONE DAY I WILL SUPRASS YOU, JUST YOU WAIT." Lucian shouted with excitement.

"I WILL BE WAITING FOR THAT DAY." Amara shouted to Lucian.

And just like that she was gone.
